Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides an oil body for lubricating a valve operating mechanism by attaching an oil pump for pumping oil from an oil reservoir formed at a lower portion in the crankcase to an engine body including a crankcase, a cylinder block, and a cylinder head. An oil supply passage for guiding the engine is provided at least in the cylinder block and the cylinder head connected to the oil pump.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in the engine temperature detection device disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-213326, a temperature detector for detecting the oil temperature in an oil return passage provided in the cylinder block for returning oil from the cylinder head to the oil pan is provided. In the oil temperature detecting device attached to the cylinder block and disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 22-22209, oil is ejected from a dedicated ejection hole toward the detection portion of the oil temperature sensor attached to the head cover. It has a configuration.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the one disclosed in the above Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-213326, the temperature detector is provided in the oil return passage, and the passage diameter of the oil return passage is set large in order to secure the amount of return oil. Since the amount of oil flow varies depending on the operating state of the engine, it is difficult to always detect the engine temperature accurately, and it is easily affected by heat radiation from the engine outer surface. Further, in the one disclosed in the above Japanese Patent Publication No. 2-22209, not only the oil supply passage is complicated, but also the amount of oil applied to the detection portion of the oil temperature sensor changes according to the change in the attitude of the engine and the rotational speed. There was a possibility, and it was difficult to detect the engine temperature at low speed (idling state after starting).
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and it is difficult to be affected by changes in the operating state and posture of the engine and heat dissipation due to the environment from the outer surface of the engine, so that the engine temperature is always good and simple. An object of the present invention is to provide an engine temperature detection device in an engine that can be detected quickly with a simple configuration.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an oil pump for pumping oil from an oil reservoir formed at a lower portion in the crankcase in an engine body including a crankcase, a cylinder block, and a cylinder head. An oil supply passage, which is attached and guides oil for lubricating the valve operating mechanism, is provided at least in the crankcase, the cylinder block and the cylinder head in connection with the oil pump. The oil supply passage is an exhaust port in the cylinder head. The starter mixture provided in the carburetor is provided with a motorcycle starter that is disposed closer to the intake port than the carburetor connected to the intake port and is energized and controlled based on the detected value of the temperature detector. In an engine mounted to open and close a passage, the temperature detector is A detecting element portion so as to face to the oil supply passage at a downstream side of the cylinder block, characterized in that attached to the head cover coupled to the cylinder head.
