【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a tire for passenger cars and trucks and buses, a tire having a relatively deep groove such as a studless tire or an all-season tire, and a tire for a mining vehicle that has a very large load and travels on a rough road. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire suitable for use as a tire.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In this type of studless tires and all-season tires, which have a relatively deep circumferential groove extending continuously in the tread circumferential direction on the tread surface, the land portions such as blocks, ribs, etc. Since it is greatly deformed in the direction of protruding into the circumferential groove, the groove bottom of the circumferential groove in the ground contact surface repeatedly receives a large compressive force in the direction of reducing the groove width.
[0003]
On the other hand, since the circumference of the tread surface is the longest at the center of the tread and gradually decreases toward the tread side edge, the land portion of the tread side area is Since there is a tendency to be dragged by the land, a large circumferential shear force is also repeatedly applied to the groove bottom of the circumferential groove in the ground contact surface, so that the groove bottom is cracked relatively early. Likely to happen.
[0004]
And the groove bottom crack generated in this way will contribute to belt separation when it reaches the belt by progressing to the inside of the tread, so it is advantageous to suppress the generation of groove bottom crack as much as possible. The same applies to a tire for a mining vehicle that has a large load and is forced to travel on a rough road.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, conventionally, in order to suppress the occurrence of a groove bottom crack, it has been widely practiced to increase the radius of curvature of the groove bottom in the cross section in the tread width direction to prevent stress concentration on the groove bottom of the circumferential groove. However, it is still not sufficient as a countermeasure, and there was still a high risk of occurrence of cracks at the groove bottom, especially when used under severe conditions.
[0006]
The present invention provides a pneumatic tire in which the occurrence of cracks in the groove bottom is improved more effectively than in the conventional method, such as increasing the radius of curvature of the groove bottom in the cross section in the tread width direction.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the pneumatic tire of the present invention is provided with at least one circumferential groove extending continuously in the circumferential direction of the tread and is located adjacent to the circumferential groove. A pneumatic tire in which a belt is arranged on the inner peripheral side of the tread, and a reinforcing material composed of a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric made of a fiber member is arranged in the tread, and the width of the tread A portion of the reinforcing material corresponding to the land portion in the cross section is radially outward from an extending position of the portion corresponding to the circumferential groove, and the portion of the reinforcing material corresponding to the circumferential groove bottom Is curved with a radius of curvature that is at least twice the minimum radius of curvature at the bottom of the groove.
[0008]
According to this, compressive force, shearing force, etc. that will concentrate on the minimum radius of curvature of the circumferential groove bottom of the tire tread can be effectively reduced based on the support of the force by the reinforcing fiber member. Therefore, the occurrence of cracks in the minimum radius of curvature portion can be effectively prevented.
In addition, in arranging the reinforcing material, in order to efficiently exhibit the above-described effects of the reinforcing material along the minimum curvature radius portion, the groove bottom portion is arranged rather than arranging the reinforcing material only in the groove bottom portion. It is better to place it at the outer side in the radial direction at at least one position closer to the land from this, so that the minimum radius of curvature can be efficiently covered with the reinforcing material. The installation position is the portion corresponding to the land portion, and the portion corresponding to the circumferential groove is the outer side in the tire radial direction.
[0009]
In addition, here, the reinforcing material is bent and extended with a radius of curvature larger than the minimum radius of curvature of the groove bottom, thereby repeatedly bending deformation at the curved portion as the land portion such as blocks and ribs are deformed. The durability of the reinforcing material itself, which receives an input such as the above, can be enhanced, and the reinforcing material can exhibit its original function over a long period of time, thereby preventing the occurrence of a crack at the groove bottom more advantageously.
[0010]
Here, the reinforcing material can be composed of a nonwoven fabric, but is desirably composed of a woven fabric, particularly a biaxial woven fabric.
Incidentally, in this case, the extending form of the fiber member of the biaxial woven fabric can be appropriately selected as necessary. For example, each of the warp and the weft is inclined at 45 degrees with respect to the tread circumferential direction. Also, it can be arranged in an orthogonal coordinate arrangement of 0 degrees and 90 degrees.
[0011]
When the extending form of the fiber member is inclined at 45 degrees with respect to the tread circumferential direction, both the compressive force and the shearing force can be dispersed and supported by each of the weft and the warp, and in the tread circumferential direction. On the other hand, when the orthogonal coordinate arrangement is 0 degree and 90 degrees, for example, the compressive force can be supported by the weft and the shear force can be supported by the warp.
[0012]
According to such a configuration of the reinforcing material, it is possible to more effectively support each of the compression force in the width direction and the shearing force applied to the groove bottom with the longitudinal and lateral threads of the biaxial woven fabric. Can be more effectively suppressed.
In addition, when the reinforcing material is constituted by a triaxial woven fabric, the input to the groove bottom can be further relaxed by the dispersion of the force based on the extending direction of the fiber member.
[0013]
Preferably, the fiber member is formed of monofilament cords of organic fibers such as nylon, polyethylene terephthalate, aromatic polyamide, or metal fibers such as steel.
This is because, in order to support the compressive force at the bottom of the groove with the reinforcing material, the compression rigidity of the fiber member that contributes to the structure of the reinforcing material is important. This is because the force cannot be sufficiently borne, and in this respect, the monofilament cord can exhibit a greater compression rigidity.
Here, according to the monofilament cord of organic fiber, it is advantageous to realize the weight reduction of the tire, and according to the monofilament cord of metal fiber, it is possible to increase the supporting ability of compressive force and shear force.
However, this is only desirable, and the reinforcing material can be composed of non-woven fabric. In this case, particularly in the direction where it is necessary to increase rigidity by using an unemployed cloth with orientation. It is possible to reinforce.
[0014]
Thus, when the fiber member is a monofilament cord, the cord density of the monofilament cord, and the woven fabric, the number of cords arranged per unit length in the extending direction of each cord, It is desirable that the portion corresponding to the groove bottom is larger than the portion corresponding to the central portion of the land portion such as a block or a rib.
This is because the portion where the reinforcing material is likely to break is a portion corresponding to the minimum radius portion of the groove bottom, and therefore it is effective to increase the density of the cord and increase the support or load capacity of the force at the portion. It is because it is. According to this, since the durability of the reinforcing material increases, as a result, the occurrence of cracks in the groove bottom can be more advantageously prevented.
[0015]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

[0022]
Preferably, the fiber member forming the biaxial woven fabric or the like is a monofilament cord made of organic fibers such as nylon, polyethylene terephthalate, and aromatic polyamide, or metal fibers such as steel.
This is because it is important to increase the compression rigidity of the reinforcing
In this case, if an organic fiber monofilament cord is used, it is advantageous for reducing the weight of the tire, and if a metal fiber monofilament cord is used, it is advantageous for improving the supporting ability of compressive force and shear force. .
[0023]
Thus, when the fiber member is a monofilament cord, more preferably, the driving density of the monofilament cord, the driving density in the tread width direction as shown in FIG. 4, compared to the
According to this, the cord density is increased at a portion corresponding to the minimum curvature radius portion of the groove bottom 14 which is a portion where the reinforcing

【Example】
The size is 245/40 R18, and each of the two belt layers is formed by a steel cord having a structure of 1 × 5 × 0.23, and the cord is driven 38 pieces / 50 mm, and the inner layer side belt The cord of the layer extends 28 degrees ascending to the right when viewed from the front of the tire, and the cord of the outer layer side belt layer as viewed from the front when viewed from the front and extends 28 degrees when the cord is extended to the left. A pneumatic tire having a basic structure formed by spirally winding nylon cord at a density of 10/12 mm and a specification shown in Table 1 with a filling air pressure of 230 kPa and a speed of 89 km. A drum test was performed in which the load rolling was performed under the conditions of / h and a load of 5.10 kN, and the travel distance until a crack occurred was measured on the outermost groove bottom in the width direction.
The test tires include the presence or absence of a reinforcing material, the type and driving density of the fiber member, the presence or absence of changes in the driving density of the portion corresponding to the groove bottom, the radius of curvature r1 and the groove of the portion corresponding to the groove bottom of the reinforcing material. Four types of example tires and two types of comparative example tires were prepared according to the combination of the curvature radius ratio r1 / r2 of the minimum curvature radius r2 at the bottom, and the above test was performed on each of them. The result was obtained.
[Table 1]
[0025]
Comparing the example tire and the comparative example tire, in all the example tires, the crack generation distance is greatly extended as compared with the comparative example tire, and the reinforcing material is curved and installed so that r1 / r2 is twice or more. Thus, it can be seen that an excellent effect for preventing the occurrence of groove bottom cracks can be obtained.
Comparing Comparative Example 2 and Example 1, it can be seen that by making the ratio of r1 / r2 twice or more, even with the same cord and the same driving density, the crack generation distance extends by about 12,000 km.
Further, comparing Example 1 and Example 2, it can be seen that when the cord is a steel monofilament cord, the crack generation distance is further extended by 88,000 km or more even if the number of driven wires is reduced compared to the nylon monofilament cord.
Furthermore, when Example 2 and Example 3 are compared, even if the nylon monofilament cord is used as it is, it can be extended by 88,000 km or more like a steel filament cord by making the number of cords driven dense at the portion corresponding to the groove bottom. I understand.
About Example 4, since a reinforcing material is a nylon twisted cord, it turns out that the extending | stretching effect of a crack generation distance is a little low compared with another Example.

【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, in particular, a reinforcing member made of a fiber member is disposed in the tread, and the land portion of the reinforcing member is disposed in the cross-section in the width direction of the tread. The extending position of the portion corresponding to the circumferential groove is radially outward from the extending position of the portion corresponding to the circumferential groove, and the portion of the reinforcing member corresponding to the circumferential groove bottom is twice the minimum radius of curvature at the groove bottom. By curving with the above curvature radius, the occurrence of a groove bottom crack can be prevented more effectively than the conventional method, such as increasing the curvature radius of the groove bottom in the cross section in the tread width direction.
