Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention mainly relates to an improvement in a bristle material for a polishing brush used for polishing a surface of a rolled steel material and the like, and more specifically, is excellent in abrasiveness in dry polishing processing of the rolled steel material as well as excellent welding resistance. That is, the present invention relates to a bristle material for a polishing brush having a characteristic that a welded material of the brush bristle material does not adhere to a rolled steel material or the like to be polished.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a monofilament made of a synthetic resin containing abrasive particles is known as a polishing brush bristle used in the surface polishing of a metal such as rolled steel. For example, this monofilament containing abrasive particles is a bristle. Surface polishing of the object to be processed is performed by pressing a roll brush, a cup brush, a cylindrical brush, or the like planted as a material against the object to be processed and applying rotation.
[0003]
For this reason, the polishing brush bristle material containing abrasive particles is required to have excellent polishing power, and in order to more effectively express such polishing power, as a synthetic resin material for the polishing brush hair material, Nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 6/66 copolymer, polyamide resins such as nylon 610, nylon 612, and nylon 12, and polyester resins such as polybutylene terephthalate are selectively used depending on the application of the brush.
[0004]
The abrasive abrasive particles added to these synthetic resins include alumina abrasive particles such as coke powder, bauxite, and alumina oxide, silicon carbide abrasive particles such as white silica and abrasive powder, and artificial diamond. Monofilaments obtained by melt-spinning a composition comprising these synthetic resins and abrasive abrasive particles by selectively using abrasive particles and the like have been widely used as abrasive materials for abrasive brushes.
[0005]
By the way, the above-mentioned bristle material for polishing brush is mainly used for wet polishing in which a coolant such as water is sprayed and polished on rolled steel or the like, but in the dry polishing process in which the coolant is not sprayed on rolled steel or the like. when using polyamide resin polishing brush bristles are bristles is disadvantageously Ru soluble Chakusu with heat generated by the polishing.
[0006]
For this reason, steel brushes are mainly used for dry polishing processing, but the steel brushes have a safety problem in that they cause dangers such as injury to human bodies due to broken hair.
[0007]
Therefore, it is safe because it is made of synthetic resin and does not break, and has a characteristic that the welded material of the bristle material does not adhere to the rolled steel or the like in the dry grinding process. The realization of was strongly requested.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been achieved as a result of examining the solution of the problems in the above-described prior art as an object.
[0009]
Therefore, the object of the present invention is not only excellent in abrasiveness in dry polishing of rolled steel, but also has excellent welding resistance, that is, the property that the brush bristle material does not adhere to the rolled steel material to be polished. An object of the present invention is to provide a bristle material for an abrasive brush having
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of diligent studies to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present inventors have found that a monofilament made of a resin composition containing a specific amount of an azine compound together with abrasive particles in a polyamide resin is a dry type such as a rolled steel material. In the polishing process, it was found that excellent polishing properties and welding resistance were exhibited, and the present invention was achieved.
[0011]
That is, the bristle material for an abrasive brush of the present invention was melt-spun with a composition containing 10 to 60 parts by weight of abrasive abrasive particles and 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an azine compound with respect to 100 parts by weight of a polyamide resin. It consists of a monofilament.
[0012]
In the hair material for polishing brush of the present invention,
The azine compound is an azine pigment;
The count of the abrasive particles is # 36 to # 3000,
The polyamide resin is at least one selected from nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 610, nylon 612, nylon 12 and nylon 6/66 copolymer, and the filament diameter of the monofilament is 0.2-3. 5 mm is a preferable condition for all, and more excellent effects can be obtained by applying these conditions.
[0013]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Below, the hair material for polishing brushes of this invention is explained in full detail.
[0014]
The polyamide resin used in the present invention is not particularly limited, but among them, nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 610, nylon 612, nylon 12 and nylon 6/66 copolymers are used to improve toughness and polishing durability. It is preferable because a bristle material for an abrasive brush that is combined is obtained. The relative viscosity of the polyamide resin is preferably 3.0 or more. If the relative viscosity is less than 3.0, the melt spinning stability and the bending durability due to bending fatigue tend to be lowered, which is not preferable.
[0015]
Abrasive abrasive particles used in the present invention include alumina oxide, silicon carbide, artificial diamond, and the like, but their counts are # 36 to # 3000, especially ## defined by the abrasive grain size JIS R6001 (1973). It is preferable that it is in the range of 60 to # 1000 because more excellent polishing properties can be expressed.
[0016]
The blending amount of the abrasive abrasive particles is preferably 10 to 60 parts by weight, particularly 15 to 50 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polyamide resin. If the amount of abrasive abrasive particles added is less than the above range, the polishing power will be insufficient, and if it exceeds the above range, the strength of the melt-spun monofilament will be lowered, and the breakage durability will be lowered.
[0017]
As the azine compound used in the present invention, an azine pigment is preferably used. Specific examples of azine pigments include, for example, azine blacks represented by Taoka Chemical Co., Ltd., azine dives blacks, azine violets, azine fast reds, azine browns, azine dark greens and Organic pigments such as azine light browns.
[0018]
The azine-based compound is generally used as a colorant, and by blending it with a polyamide resin, a hair material for a polishing brush colored in a desired color can be obtained. In polyamide, by adding an azine-based compound together with abrasive particles to the polyamide resin, a novel effect that the welding resistance of the bristle material for abrasive brushes obtained at the same time as coloring is dramatically improved can be obtained. It was found.
[0019]
Therefore, the blending amount of the azine compound is preferably in the range of 0.1 to 5 parts by weight, particularly 0.2 to 2 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polyamide resin. The effect of improving the welding resistance in processing is small, and if it exceeds the above range, the strength of the melt-spun monofilament is lowered, and the breakage durability tends to be lowered.
[0020]
The bristle material for the polishing brush of the present invention is added to the polyamide resin with the required amount of azine pigment as it is, or mixed, or the polyamide resin is melted and mixed with the azine pigment and cooled to be processed into a pellet. It can be obtained by mixing a necessary amount of abrasive abrasive particles with the resulting product, then subjecting it to a melt spinning machine, spinning, cooling and further stretching as necessary.
[0021]
The cross-sectional shape of the monofilament thus obtained can be an ellipse, a triangle, a rectangle and other irregular shapes in addition to a circle.
[0022]
The average diameter of the monofilament is preferably 0.2 to 3.5 mm, particularly preferably 0.4 to 3.0 mm. Here, if the diameter of the monofilament is less than the above range, the bristles are too weak and the polishing effect is small, and if it exceeds the above range, the bristles are too strong and hard and difficult to bend. This is not preferable because it becomes difficult to plant the hair.
[0023]
Thus, the bristle material for polishing brushes of the present invention has excellent polishing performance in dry polishing processing such as rolled steel as defined in JIS-G3101 (1976), and in particular, has much better welding resistance than conventional ones. Demonstrate the preferable performance of being excellent.
[0024]
Therefore, the bristle material for polishing brush of the present invention is trimmed to a predetermined length, planted in a cup brush, a cylindrical brush, a channel brush, a disk roll brush, etc., mainly as a rotary brush for dry polishing, In particular, it can be effectively used for polishing processing that requires welding resistance.
[0025]
【Example】
The configuration and effects of the present invention will be further described below with reference to examples.
[0026]
In the following examples, the polishing amount and the welding resistance were evaluated by the methods described below.
[Polishing amount]
A cup-shaped brush in which the monofilament is planted to an inner diameter of 45 mm, an outer diameter of 70 mm, and a hair length of 30 mm is contacted with a brass metal plate while applying a surface pressure of about 120 g / cm 2 while rotating at 12000 rpm for 30 minutes. Polishing work was carried out, and the weight of the scraped brass metal was measured.
[Weld resistance]
A steel plate having a thickness of 2 mm, which is a rolled steel material SS41 specified in JIS-G3101 (1976), is rotated at 12000 rpm by applying a surface pressure of about 120 g / cm 2 in the direction perpendicular to the brush bristle material by the cup-shaped brush. However, when the surface polishing process was performed for 30 minutes, the adhesion state (dirt) of the abrasive brush bristle material adhered to the surface of the steel sheet was visually observed and classified into the following four criteria.
[0027]
A: There is no adhesion of weld deposits. ○: There is a slight amount of adhesion of weld deposits, but it is hardly noticeable. Δ: There is a little adhesion of weld deposits. X: There is much adhesion of weld deposits.
[Example 1]

The silane coupling agent [Toray Industries, Inc. is used with respect to 100 parts by weight of the composition in which the master pellets containing parts by weight and the nylon 610 resin pellets are blended so that the content of the azine black pigment is 0.4% by weight. A resin composition containing 43 parts by weight of # 80 silicon carbide abrasive particles (manufactured by Showa Denko KK) coated with 0.2% by weight of SH6020 manufactured by Dow Corning Silicone Co., Ltd. was biaxially extruded. Using a spinning machine, melt spinning at 260 ° C from a spinning nozzle with a hole diameter of 3.0 mm, and then stretching the fiber at 190 ° C by 3.2 times to obtain a monolith with a diameter of 1.2 mm. It was produced Lament.
[0028]
The monofilament was conditioned and humidity-controlled for 2 days or more under the conditions of a temperature of 20 ° C. and a relative humidity of 65% RH, then processed into a cup-shaped brush, and the results of evaluation of its abrasiveness and welding resistance were shown. It is shown in 1.
