【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ペット用給水器に係り、さらに詳しくは、水が入れられた例えばペットボトルの如き給水容器が着脱可能に取付けられ、ペットケージの金網などに取付けられてペットに給水するペット用給水器に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
この種ペット用給水器の一例として、飲水器と固定座で組成され、飲水器に凸台と2つの位置決め条が形成され、位置決め状の横断面がT形とされ、固定座にC形の係止リングが形成され、C形の係止リングが2分の1円より大きく、C形の係止リングに位置決め条に対応する係止溝が形成され、係止溝の横断面がT字形を呈し、飲水器が凸台とC形の係止リングの組合せ及び位置決め条と係止溝の組合せにより固定座に組合わされるように構成したものがある(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特許文献1のペット用飲水器は、固定座をペットケージの網に固定するにあたっては、固定座を構成する固定板と本体とによりペットケージの網を挾持し、固定板に設けた2本のボルトを本体に設けた穴にそれぞれ挿通し、本体側から2個のナットにより固定するようにしているので、ペットケージへの取付けがきわめて面倒である。
また、飲水器への給水容器の着脱については全く記載されていないが、図面からみて専用の給水容器を使用しているように考えられる。このため、給水容器が限定され汎用性がない。

さらに、飲水器の固定座への着脱にあたっては、飲水器の下段を直立状として上段を一定角度に傾斜させ、ついで飲水器の上段と係止リングの開口部上方より傾斜させて係止リング内に挿入し、さらに飲水器の位置決め条を係止リングの係止溝に係合させるようにしなければならないので、きわめて面倒であるばかりでなく、ある程度の技術が必要である。

本発明は、上記の課題を解決するためになされたもので、固定具のペットケージ等への取付けが簡単で、ペットボトルの如き給水容器が着脱自在に装着される給水具をバックル機構によりワンタッチで容易かつ確実に固定具に着脱することのできるペット用給水器を提供することを目的としたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係るペット用給水器は、基台及び保持部を有し、ペットケージ等に取付けられる固定具と、給水管が設けられ給水容器が着脱自在に装着される給水具とを備え、前記固定具の保持部又は給水具のいずれか一方に案内柱及び係止爪を有する係止片を設けると共に他方に嵌合部及び係止部を設け、かつ、前記固定具又は給水具のいずれか一方に設けた係止片と対向する面に、該係止片の可動範囲を規制する凸部を設け、前記嵌合部に案内柱を挿入すると共に、係止部に前記係止片の係止爪を係止させて、前記給水具を固定具に着脱自在に取付けるように構成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
[実施の形態1]
図1は本発明の実施の形態1に係るペット用給水器の分解斜視図、図2は図1の固定具に給水具を連結した状態を示す縦断面図、図3は図2の平断面図、図4は図2のA−A断面図、図5は固定具への給水具の連結手段を説明するための断面図である。
本実施の形態は、合成樹脂成形品からなりペットケージ等に取付けられる固定具1と、この固定具1をペットケージ等に固定するための固定ねじ部15と、合成樹脂成形品からなり固定具1に着脱自在に装着される給水具20とから構成されている。

固定具1は長方形の基台2と給水具20を保持する保持部3とからなり、基台2の中心部には後面側(以下、固定ねじ部15側を後面側、給水具20側を前面側という)に開口し、内周にめねじを有する円筒部4が前面側に突設されている(以下、めねじをねじ穴5という)。そして、この円筒部4の外周には円筒部4より長い四角筒状の嵌合部6が突設されており、その内壁に設けたリブにより円筒部4を補強している。また、上部内壁には内側に向けてリブ7a,7bが突設されており、これら両リブ7a,7bの間にはスリット状の溝8が形成されている。

嵌合部6の天板の後面側には係止穴9が開口しており、係止穴9の前面側には係止部10が形成されている。また、天板の係止穴9の前面側の下面とリブ7a,7bとの間には、前面側に開口し、後面側に向って下方に傾斜する下向きの凹部11が設けられており、この凹部11には後述の給水具20の係止片32が挿入される。なお、基台2の後面には、ペットケージ等に取付ける場合に摩擦抵抗を付与するための凹凸部12が設けられており、また、必要に応じてゴムなどのすべり止め用の弾性体14(図3参照)を装着するための取付穴13が設けられている。

固定ねじ部15は、その外径が固定具1の基台2の長辺の長さとほぼ等しい大きさの基板16、つまみ17、及びつまみ17の反対側において基板16の中心部から突設され、固定具1に設けたねじ穴4に螺入するねじ18が設けられている。

給水具20において、21は例えばペットボトルの如き給水容器100(以下、ペットボトルを例にして説明する)が着脱自在に装着される有底円筒状の支持部で、上部に設けた拡径部22の内壁にはペットボトル100の給水口に設けたねじが螺入されるねじ23が設けられている。また、支持部21の下部の固定具1側には、支持部21内に連通する給水管24が斜め下方に向って延設されており、その先端部には、先端部に小孔を有するステンレス管25がねじ結合され、ステンレス管25の先端部内にはゴムパッキン26を介して一部が小孔から露出するボール弁27が配設されている。

次に、本実施の形態に係るペット用給水器のペットケージへの取付手順について説明する。
先ず、ペットケージの外側からペットケージを構成する複数の針金に固定具1の基台2を当接すると共に、ペットケージの内側に固定ねじ部15を位置させてそのねじ18を固定具1のねじ穴5に螺入し、締付ける。これにより、固定具1を容易にかつ確実にペットケージに取付けることができる(図2、図3、図6参照)。なお、木製のペットケージ等で、これを構成する格子(棒)の径が大きい場合は、固定具1の基台2に設けた取付穴13に、すべり止め用の弾性体14を装着することが望ましい。

一方、水が入れられたペットボトル100の上に給水具20を下向きにして位置させ、その大径部22に設けたねじ23をペットボトル100の給水口に設けたねじに螺合して取付ける。
そして、180°回転してペットボトル100を下向きにする(図2参照)。これにより、ペットボトル100内の水は支持部21から給水管24内に流入する。このとき、ボール弁27は水圧によりゴムパッキン26に押し付けられて小孔を閉塞するので、水が漏れることはない。なお、ペットがボール弁27を押込むことにより容易に飲水することができる。

次に、図4、図5に示すように、給水具20の案内柱28を固定具1の嵌合部6内に挿入する。このとき、上部案内片29bに設けた凸部31は嵌合部6のリブ7a,7b間に設けた溝8内に位置し、また、係止片32は嵌合部6の天板に設けた凹部11内に挿入される。ついで、給水具20を強く押し込むと、係止片32は弾性変形して前進し、係止爪33が嵌合部6の係止穴9に達すると元の状態に戻り、係止爪33が係止部10に係止する。これにより、給水具20をワンタッチで固定具1に装着することができ、給水管24の先端部はペットケージ内に位置する。このときの状態を図6に示す。なお、本発明においては、一方の部材に案内柱及び係止爪を有する係止片を設け、他方の部材に前記案内柱が嵌入する嵌合部及び前記係止片の係止爪が係止する係止部を設け、又は、一方の部材に案内柱及び係止片の係止爪が係止する係止部を設け、他方の部材に前記案内柱が嵌入する嵌合部及び係止爪を有する係止片を設けて、両部材をワンタッチで着脱する構造をバックル機構という。

上記のようにして、給水具20を固定具1に取付けた状態においては、案内柱28のL字状及び逆L字状の上下の案内片29a,29bが、図4に示すように、嵌合部6の内壁に当接し又は近接して位置するため、給水具20の縦方向及び横方向の動揺を防止することができる。

ペットボトルへの水の補填等のため給水具20を固定具1から取外す場合は、係止片32を指で圧下して係止爪33の係止部10への係止を解除し、給水具20を手前に引けば、容易に取外すことができる。
ところで、係止片32を圧下して弾性変形させると、その基部に応力が集中して長期の使用により破損するおそれがあるが、本実施の形態においては、上部案内片29bの上面に設けた凸部31により係止片32の圧下量(可動範囲)が規制されるため、基部に生じる応力を小さくすることができ、これにより長期の使用によっても破損することがない。

上記の説明では、固定具1をペットケージに取付けて、給水具20の給水管24の先端部をペットケージ内に位置させる場合について説明したが、例えば、給水管24を支持部20の横方向又は反対方向に設ければ、ペットケージの外に給水管24を位置させることができる。なお、固定具1をペットケージに取付ける代りに、取付穴13を利用するなどして、基台2を直接壁面等に取付けてもよい。

本実施の形態によれば、ペットケージ等への固定具1の取付けがきわめて簡単であり、また、給水具20をバックル機構によりワンタッチで固定具1に着脱することができ、かつ給水具20を水平方向に移動させればよいので着脱操作が容易である。さらに、給水容器にはペットボトル100を使用できるので汎用性に富んだペット用給水器を得ることができる。

[実施の形態2]
図7は本発明の実施の形態2に係るペット用給水器の斜視図、図8は図7の分解斜視図である。なお、実施の形態1と同じ部分にはこれと同じ符号を付し、説明を省略する。
本実施の形態は、実施の形態1の場合と同様に、合成樹脂成形品からなる固定具1と、固定ねじ部15と、合成樹脂成形品からなり、固定具1にワンタッチで着脱自在に装着される給水具20とからなっている。

固定具1は、図8、図9に示すようにほぼ逆L字状に構成され、その垂直片により基台41が形成されている。また、保持部3を構成する水平片42の両側の前後方向には案内壁43a,43bが設けられており、後面側の幅方向の中央部には案内柱44が立設され、その両側には弾性を有し上部の外側に係止爪46が設けられた係止片45a,45bが立設されている。44aは案内柱44の両側壁に設けられて係止片45a,45bの可動範囲を規制する凸部である。47は水平片42の自由端の中央部に設けたU字状の切除部である。なお、水平片42の幅方向の中央部の下面は基台41に連続して肉厚に形成され(図示せず)、後面側に開口するねじ穴48が設けられており、また基台41の後面には凹凸部49が形成され、両側にはねじ挿通穴50が設けられている。

給水具20は、図8、図10に示すように下部が開口されたほぼ直方体状に形成され、中心部の上下方向には貫通穴51が設けられており、その上部は拡径されてペットボトル100の給水口に設けたねじが螺合するねじ52が設けられている。また、下部には段部53を介して給水管24aの接続口54が設けられており、この接続口54の内壁には一方の側又は対向して位置決め用リブ55が設けられている。
また、外壁の両側(左右側)の前後方向には凹溝56a,56bが設けられており、貫通穴51の前後に設けた嵌合部57a,57bに連通して凹溝56a,56bの下壁に開口する係止穴58a,58bが設けられ、この係止穴58a,58bと下壁との間に係止部59a,59bが形成されている。なお、給水具20の左右方向の幅は、固定具1の水平片42に設けた案内壁43a,43bの内のり間隔とほぼ等しく形成されている。

給水具20を固定具1から取外す場合は、2本の指で係止爪46を挟んで内側に押圧し、係止部59aから離脱させて給水具20を持ち上げれば、容易に取外すことができる。
本実施の形態においては、固定具1に設けた案内壁43a,43b及び嵌合部57a(又は57b)に挿入した案内柱44により、給水具20の前後方向及び左右方向の動揺を防止する。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、基台及び保持部を有し、ペットケージ等に取付けられる固定具と、給水管が設けられ給水容器が着脱自在に装着される給水具とを備え、前記固定具の保持部又は給水具のいずれか一方に案内柱及び係止爪を有する係止片を設けると共に他方に嵌合部及び係止部を設け、かつ、前記固定具又は給水具のいずれか一方に設けた係止片と対向する面に、該係止片の可動範囲を規制する凸部を設け、前記嵌合部に案内柱を挿入すると共に、係止部に前記係止片の係止爪を係止させて、前記給水具を固定具に着脱自在に取付けるように構成したので、着脱操作がきわめて簡単で使い勝手のよいペット用給水器を得ることができる。また、係止片と対向する面に係止片の可動範囲を規制する凸部を設けたので、係止片の基部に生じる応力を小さくすることができ、これにより長期の使用によっても係止片が破損することがない。

前記固定具の保持部又は給水具のいずれか一方に案内柱及び係止爪を有する係止片を設けると共に他方に嵌合部及び係止部を設け、かつ、前記固定具又は給水具のいずれか一方に設けた係止片と対向する面に、該係止片の可動範囲を規制する凸部を設け、
前記嵌合部に案内柱を挿入すると共に、係止部に前記係止片の係止爪を係止させて、前記給水具を固定具に着脱自在に取付けるように構成したことを特徴とするペット用給水器。
