BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an equalization system that realizes desired sound field characteristics in an acoustic system such as a passenger compartment by using an adaptive filter.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Since the vehicle interior is a sealed and narrow space, reflection occurs in a short time, sound waves interfere with each other, and the transmission characteristics up to the listening point become very complicated. Also, since music is listened to in a left-right asymmetric place, the transfer characteristics from the left and right speakers are also greatly different. There has been a demand for an audio device intended to remove such adverse effects in the passenger compartment and improve acoustic characteristics in the passenger compartment. As an answer to such a demand, an equalization system that automatically corrects the transfer characteristics of an acoustic system is known.
[0003]
FIG. 7 is a diagram showing a basic configuration of an equalization system applied to an in-vehicle audio system. As an example, a configuration for correcting transfer characteristics in the time domain is shown. The equalization system shown in the figure includes a target

[0006]
By using such an equalization system, it is possible to listen to music in the same manner as when listening to music in a space having the target response characteristic H set in the target
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the above-described equalization system is for improving the characteristics by using the installation position of the
[0008]
The present invention has been created in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide an equalization system that can prevent a listener from feeling uncomfortable.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, the equalization system of the present invention is configured so that the frequency characteristic at the control position when the input signal is radiated from the speaker after passing through the adaptive filter becomes a predetermined frequency characteristic. When the filter coefficient of the adaptive filter is controlled by the above, the first filter coefficient corresponding to the frequency having a large attenuation amount in the frequency characteristic of the acoustic system is set by the interpolation processing based on the second filter coefficient around it.
[0010]
In general, in the equalization system, when a large attenuation is observed at a specific frequency of the frequency characteristic of the acoustic system measured at a specific control position, only the component of the specific frequency is emphasized to compensate for this attenuation. Thus, the filter coefficient of the adaptive filter is controlled. However, when the input sound that has passed through the adaptive filter is listened to at a listening position that deviates from the specific control position described above, the above-described attenuation portion does not exist in the frequency characteristics of the acoustic system corresponding to the listening position. Regardless, ringing occurs because the component of the specific frequency is emphasized, and the sound becomes uncomfortable for the listener. However, in the present invention, the filter coefficient of the adaptive filter corresponding to the frequency having a large attenuation amount in the frequency characteristic of the acoustic system is based on the surrounding filter coefficients so that only the component of the specific frequency described above is not emphasized. Since it is set by the interpolation process, it is possible to effectively prevent the occurrence of ringing at the listening position other than the control position described above.
[0011]
Further, it is preferable that the filter control means described above stops the update process of the first filter coefficient by setting the step size parameter corresponding to the first filter coefficient to 0. By stopping unnecessary update processing, the processing load can be reduced.
[0012]
In addition, a conversion unit that converts the input signal into a frequency domain signal is provided in the preceding stage of the adaptive filter, and a synthesis unit that synthesizes a signal for each frequency component output from the adaptive filter between the adaptive filter and the speaker, It is desirable to perform processing in the frequency domain with an adaptive filter. By using an adaptive filter that performs processing in the frequency domain, it becomes easy to prevent excessive emphasis or the like at a specific frequency, so that ringing at a specific frequency can be reliably prevented.

In addition, this invention is not limited to the said embodiment, A various deformation | transformation implementation is possible within the range of the summary of this invention.
