BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a curved mold for continuous casting of steel having a curved tube mold.
[0002]
[Background Art and Problems to be Solved by the Invention]
As is well known, the all-arc / rigid dummy bar type billet continuous caster, which is a bending type (arc curved type) billet continuous caster, was developed and put into practical use with the aim of simplifying the continuous caster at low equipment costs. However, a slab having a small cross-sectional dimension such as a billet is unlikely to cause bulging, and thus has a feature that a guide roll in the secondary cooling zone is almost unnecessary. A curved mold for continuous casting (hereinafter simply referred to as a curved mold) of a bending billet continuous casting machine basically surrounds a curved tube mold made of copper or a copper alloy into which molten steel is injected, and the curved tube mold. A water jacket for cooling with cooling water that is arranged in a mode, one to a plurality of foot rolls (foot rolls) attached to the lower end of the water jacket, and a slab of the foot roll portion are sprayed with water It comprises a plurality of stages of foot spray nozzles (foot spray nozzles) for cooling. This curved mold is also in the direction of decreasing the number of foot roll steps for simplification of the mold structure. In recent all-arc / rigid dummy bar billet continuous casting machines, the mold has been further simplified, Curved molds without rolls have also been put into practical use. Generally, in a bending die billet continuous casting machine, a slab drawing device made of a pinch roll is arranged at a correction point where the slab from a curved mold moves from an arc portion to a horizontal portion. If the slab drawing device is placed in the arc section of a continuous caster where the environment is poor, the structure of the continuous caster will be complicated, resulting in an increase in equipment costs, and maintenance will be complicated. This is because sometimes the slab drawing device may be damaged.
[0003]
In such a bending type billet continuous casting machine, compared with the other three inner wall surfaces A, B, and D, a stronger contact between the inner curved inner wall surface C and the solidified shell (large contact) in the curved tube mold. There is a problem that a slab crack occurs due to non-uniform cooling (single cooling) of the solidified shell resulting from this. This will be described below.
[0004]
Figure 21 These are the typical explanatory drawings for demonstrating the mechanism of the side cooling generation | occurrence | production in the bending die billet continuous casting machine which has a curved mold. Figure 22 The figure 21 It is explanatory drawing which shows the curved tube mold in, Comprising: The (a) is a cross-sectional view, The (b) is a front view. In this way, a strong hit occurs between the inner curved inner wall surface C of the
[0009]
By the way, in order to make the gap (air gap) generated between the tube mold and the solidified shell as small as possible and to uniformly produce the solidified shell, the taper amount is divided into multiple stages in the casting direction and the taper amount is changed at each stage (including parabolic taper). The tube mold is known. This multi-stage tapered tube mold has a drawback that the frictional force generated between the tube mold and the solidified shell is larger than that of a single taper. If the frictional force is large, the drawing force due to the slab weight cannot be expected. For this reason, in the case of the
[0010]
The present invention has been made under such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is a curved mold for continuous casting of steel provided in a bending type continuous casting machine, and other three inner wall surfaces in a curved tube mold. Compared to the above, it is possible to alleviate the chilling of the curved surface on the inner side of the solidified shell in the curved tube mold due to the strong hit between the inner curved inner wall surface and the solidified shell, and to avoid the increase in the strong hit, Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a curved casting mold for continuous casting of steel which can prevent slab breakage and can extend the life of a curved tube mold as compared with the prior art.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

[0013]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the curved mold for continuous casting of steel according to the first aspect, the concave portion of the curved tube mold extends from a predetermined position below the level of the curved inner surface of the curved tube mold to an inner end portion of the tube mold. A plurality of lateral grooves or a plurality of dimples are provided on the inner curved inner wall surface.
[0014]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the curved mold for continuous casting of steel according to the first aspect, the concave portion of the curved tube mold extends from a predetermined position below the level of the inner surface of the curved tube mold to an end portion of the tube mold. It is characterized in that a longitudinal groove, a large number of horizontal grooves or a large number of dimples are provided at the corner portion of the inner curved inner wall surface.
[0015]

[0017]
Claim 5 This invention is a steel comprising a curved tube mold into which molten steel is injected and a foot spray nozzle disposed directly under the curved tube mold, which is incorporated in a water jacket without a foot roll attached to the lower end thereof. In the curved mold for continuous casting, the curved tube mold has a concave portion or a convex portion that increases the surface area of the outer wall on the other three outer wall surfaces except the inner curved outer wall surface.
[0018]
Claim 6 This invention is a steel comprising a curved tube mold into which molten steel is injected and a foot spray nozzle disposed directly under the curved tube mold, which is incorporated in a water jacket without a foot roll attached to the lower end thereof. In the curved mold for continuous casting, the foot spray nozzle cools the inner curved surface of the solidified shell more slowly than the other three surfaces.
[0019]
In the curved casting mold for continuous casting according to the present invention, the inner curved inner wall surface of the curved tube mold is provided with a curved tube mold provided with a recess for reducing the contact area with the solidified shell. The amount of heat removed is reduced compared to the other three inner wall surfaces. This alleviates the chilling of the curved inner surface of the solidified shell in the curved tube mold caused by the strong hit between the inner curved inner wall surface and the solidified shell, thereby avoiding an increase in the strong hit. Can do.
[0020]
In this case, the concave portion is realized by providing a large number of lateral grooves or a large number of dimples on the inner curved inner wall surface extending from a predetermined position below the level of the inner surface of the curved tube mold to the end portion of the tube mold. Can do. Further, the concave portion is provided with a vertical groove, a large number of horizontal grooves, or a large number of dimples at a corner portion of the inner curved inner wall surface extending from a predetermined position below the level of the inner surface of the curved tube mold to the outlet end of the tube mold. Can be realized.

The amount of heat removal is reduced compared to the other three inner wall surfaces. This alleviates the chilling of the curved inner surface of the solidified shell in the curved tube mold caused by the strong hit between the inner curved inner wall surface and the solidified shell, thereby avoiding an increase in the strong hit. Can do. Examples of the film having the slow cooling function include a nickel plating film having a higher heat transfer resistance than copper or a copper alloy which is a material of the curved tube mold.
[0023]
Moreover, the curved casting mold for continuous casting according to the present invention includes a curved tube mold provided with concave portions or convex portions for increasing the cooling capacity by increasing the outer wall surface area on the other three outer wall surfaces except the inner curved outer wall surface. In the present invention, the amount of heat removed from the other three surfaces excluding the inner curved inner wall surface is increased. This alleviates the chilling of the curved inner surface of the solidified shell in the curved tube mold caused by the strong hit between the inner curved inner wall surface and the solidified shell, thereby avoiding an increase in the strong hit. Can do.
[0024]
Further, in the curved casting mold for continuous casting according to the present invention, when the foot spray nozzle is provided to cool the inner curved surface of the solidified shell more slowly than the other three surfaces, the solidified directly under the curved tube mold. The inner curved surface of the shell is slowly cooled. As a result, it is possible to relieve the chilling of the curved surface on the inner side of the solidified shell in the curved tube mold due to the strong hit between the inner curved inner wall surface of the curved tube mold and the solidified shell, and to increase the strong hit Can be avoided.
[0025]
Further, in the curved casting mold for continuous casting according to the present invention, (a) a recess provided on the inner curved inner wall surface for reducing the contact area with the solidified shell, and (b) provided on the inner curved inner wall surface, A film having a cooling function, (c) A concave or convex portion that is provided on the other three outer wall surfaces excluding the inner curved outer wall surface and increases the surface area, A curved tube mold having at least one of the above, and a foot spray nozzle that cools the inner curved surface of the slab more slowly than the other three surfaces of the slab, It is possible to avoid the increase in the strong contact by relaxing the cooling of the curved surface on the inner side of the solidified shell in the curved tube mold due to the strong contact generated between the inner curved inner wall surface and the solidified shell. As a result, cracking of the cast piece can be prevented, and the life of the curved tube mold can be extended as compared with the conventional case.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the curved casting mold for continuous casting of steel according to the present invention, it is caused by the strong hit generated between the inner curved inner wall surface and the solidified shell as compared with the other three inner wall surfaces in the curved tube mold. The cooling of the inner curved surface of the solidified shell inside the curved tube mold can be greatly relieved to avoid the increase in the strong hitting, thereby preventing cracking of the slab and the longer life of the curved tube mold compared to the conventional one. Can be achieved.
