Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an airbag device provided to absorb an impact from a rear portion of a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as this type of airbag device, for example, a device including a sensor that detects acceleration applied to the rear seat portion and an airbag housed in the rear seat in a folded state is known. . In this airbag device, when the rearward acceleration of the vehicle body is detected by the sensor, the airbag is inflated and deployed instantaneously, and the impact on the occupant seated in the rearmost seat is absorbed (Patent Literature). 1).
[0003]
In addition, as such an airbag device, an airbag that is inflated and deployed as described above is housed in the lower part of the luggage compartment behind the rear seat (see Patent Document 2), and also the rear of the rear seat. [Problems to be solved by the invention]
Among the above-described conventional airbag devices, in the device that accommodates the airbag inside the seat, the airbag is bulky, so that the seating comfort of the seat is allowed to deteriorate and the airbag is accommodated inside the seat. Airbags must be accommodated. In addition, in the configuration in which the airbag is accommodated in the lower part of the luggage compartment or rear package tray provided behind the rearmost seat, there is a risk of hindering the inflation and deployment of the airbag. It becomes impossible to put it, and the convenience will be reduced.
[0006]
Further, the conventional airbag device is not configured by predicting the movement of the occupant when the vehicle collides. For this reason, for example, when an impact is applied to the vehicle from the rear and an occupant seated in the last row of seats does not wear a seat belt, the occupant moves rearward and upward along the backrest portion of the seat. The inertial movement of the occupant may cause a secondary collision with the rear end of the roof in the passenger compartment.
[0007]
The present invention has been made paying attention to such problems existing in the prior art. The object of the present invention is to absorb the impact applied to the rear of the vehicle without deteriorating the seating comfort and convenience of the seat, and also when the occupant moves to the rear upper side. An object of the present invention is to provide an airbag device capable of protecting the above.
