Description

【0001】

[0001]
[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a method for applying a temporary coating protective film.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems]
Conventionally, when painted objects such as automobiles are transported to the hands of customers, or temporarily stored indoors or outdoors, they are painted due to the effects of dust, iron powder, rain (acid rain), salts, sunlight, etc. In order to cause defects such as scratches, spots, discoloration, and contamination on the surface of an object, a method of temporarily protecting the surface of the object by applying a protective adhesive film to the surface of the object is considered.
[0003]
For the construction of the protective adhesive film, a rectangular release paper laminated protective adhesive film wound around a roll or the like is appropriately cut according to the size of a paint such as an automobile bonnet, and then released. The pattern paper is peeled off, and the obtained adhesive film is then pressed and pasted uniformly on the surface of a coated object such as an automobile by a human or an automatic sticking machine.
[0004]
The automobile to which the adhesive film is attached in this manner is transported to the user, but the adhesive film is partially or partially separated from the surface of the automobile depending on the environment in which it is transported (transport distance, transport speed, transport temperature, etc.). There was a problem that the entire surface peeled off. As a method of improving such problems, a method of improving the adhesive strength of the adhesive film can be considered, but if the adhesive strength of the adhesive film is increased, there is no risk of natural peeling, but peeling when peeling is necessary The problem that becomes worse occurs.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive studies in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have previously cut off some or all of the angular portions of the temporary protective adhesive film, and then applied them to the surface of the paint. As a result, it was found that the protective film was not naturally peeled off during transportation, and the present invention was completed.
[0006]
That is, the present invention cuts out all the angular portions of the temporary protective adhesive film that has been cut into a rectangular, quadrangular, or triangular shape so that it is slightly smaller than the painted material, It is a method of sticking to the surface, and the angle of the newly formed film after being cut is 91 degrees or more, and the area of the cut-off part temporary protective adhesive film is 0.5 cm 2 to 50 cm, respectively. It is related with the sticking method of the coating-film temporary protection adhesive film characterized by being 2 .
[0007]
Although the coated material used in the present invention is not limited, it is particularly desirable to apply it to a painted outer plate of an automobile body. Specifically, outer plate parts such as a bonnet, a roof, a window frame, a door, and a trunk can be mentioned.
[0008]
The coating film temporary protective adhesive film used in the present invention comprises a base material and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer as essential components.
[0009]
The substrate constituting the adhesive film is not particularly limited, and is made of fibers such as paper, cloth, and nonwoven fabric; made of plastics such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester; from metals such as aluminum Film or sheet. The thickness of the adhesive film is preferably in the range of about 30 μm to 200 μm.
[0010]
Moreover, it does not specifically limit as a component which comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, For example, conventionally well-known vinyl resin, polyester resin, alkyd resin, silicone resin, natural rubber resin, synthetic rubber resin, isobutylene , Butylene and modified resins thereof. The thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is desirably in the range of about 20 μm to 100 μm. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer preferably has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in the range of 1 to 30 Newtons / film width 25 mm, particularly 2 to 20 Newtons / film width 25 mm under the measurement conditions of an atmospheric temperature of 20 ° C. and a peeling rate of 0.3 m / min. If the adhesive strength is less than 1 Newton / film width 25 mm, it is easy to spontaneously peel, while if it exceeds 30 Newton / film width 25 mm, the peeling workability is deteriorated.
[0011]
Release paper is usually laminated on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer surface of the adhesive film before application. Conventionally known release papers can be used. Specifically, paper, cloth, plastic, etc. coated or impregnated with a release agent (silicon, fluorine, etc.) can be mentioned.
[0012]
The coating film temporary protective pressure-sensitive adhesive film on which such release paper is laminated is manufactured in a strip shape (rectangular shape), and is then wound around a roll or the like and stored. This is used by pulling the film from a roll and cutting it to a required length. The pressure-sensitive adhesive film cut to the required length usually has an angle of an angled portion of about 90 degrees or less. The shape of the film cut to the required length is not particularly limited and may be selected according to the shape of the object to be coated, but is usually rectangular or square, and may be used in a shape such as a triangle. it can.
[0013]
Thus, since the adhesive film cut | disconnected by required length and shape generate | occur | produces a corner | angular part in a cut part, in this invention, a part or all of this corner | corner is cut off.
[0014]
Part or all of the angular part of the adhesive film is cut out in a straight line or a curved line so that the angular part is removed.
[0015]
The angle of the newly formed film after being cut is preferably 91 degrees or more, particularly preferably 100 to 180 degrees. If the angle of the film is less than 91 degrees, it is not preferable because the film is easily peeled off due to the influence of wind during traveling.
[0016]
Area of the coating film temporary protective adhesive film cut portions are each 0.5 cm 2 to 50 cm 2, in particular in the range of 0.8cm 2 ~40cm 2 is preferred. Area of the film cut portion is unfavorably easily peeled due to the effects of wind during running to be less than 0.5 cm 2, whereas or longer pronounced effect was observed when more than 50 cm 2, unnecessary films As the amount of processing increases, it is inferior in terms of productivity, cost, and disposal.
[0017]
Further, in the present invention, when the film is pulled out from a roll and cut into a required length and used, for example, the angle of the corner is 91 degrees or more, particularly 100 degrees or more so that a cornered portion does not occur. It can also cut | disconnect so that it may become 180 degree | times.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
The affixed film obtained by the affixing method of the present invention exhibits a remarkable effect that there is no possibility that the protective film peels off during transportation even under severe transportation conditions compared to a film affixed by a conventional method.
[0019]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to examples.
Example 1
Coating film temporary protective adhesive film wound on cylindrical roll (RAPGARD white was used. Product name, adhesive strength 3 Newton / width 25 mm, polyolefin film / polyisobutylene adhesive / release paper = 80 [mu] m / 30 [mu] m / 30 [mu] m) was cut into a rectangle of 200 cm in length and 100 cm in width so as to be slightly smaller than the roof portion of the automobile. Next, two corners in the short side direction of the obtained rectangular adhesive film were cut as shown in FIG. 1 to prepare an adhesive film for application. Both areas of the cut-off triangular adhesive film were 1.1 cm 2 . Moreover, the angle (FIG. 1) of the corner of the adhesive film after cutting was both 135 degrees.
[0020]
The adhesive film for pasting obtained above was pasted onto the roof surface of the automobile using a squeegee so that the release paper was peeled off and the cut surface was in the traveling direction of the automobile. As a result of running the automobile with the adhesive film affixed at an average speed of 100 km for 2 hours or more, the adhesive film was free from spontaneous peeling and was satisfactory.
[0021]
Example 2
In Example 1, an adhesive film for application was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 except that both four corners in the short side direction of the adhesive film were cut as shown in FIG. Both areas of the cut-off triangular adhesive film were 4.5 cm 2 . Moreover, the angle (FIG. 2) of the corner of the adhesive film after cutting was both 135 degrees. The adhesive film for pasting obtained above was pasted onto the roof surface of an automobile using a squeegee after peeling the release paper. As a result of running the automobile with the adhesive film affixed at an average speed of 100 km for 2 hours or more, the adhesive film was free from spontaneous peeling and was satisfactory.
[0022]
Example 3
In Example 1, an adhesive film for application was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 except that both four corners in the short side direction of the adhesive film were cut as shown in FIG. The areas of the spherical right-angled triangular adhesive films that were cut out were both 1.9 cm 2 . Moreover, the angle (FIG. 3) of the corner of the adhesive film after cutting was both 150 degrees or more.
[0023]
Comparative Example 1
In Example 1, the adhesive film for pasting which did not cut off the short side direction of an adhesive film was used. This adhesive film for application was attached to the roof surface of an automobile using a squeegee after peeling the release paper. The adhesive film affixed to the automobile was bad because the corners in the traveling direction of the automobile peeled off after running for 30 minutes at an average speed of 100 km.
