一般に、駅ホーム等に設置される長い乗客コンベアは、例えば、実開昭51− 116591号公報に記載のように、上下階床間をトラス構造体等の本体枠が跨ぐように設置されるもので、その上階側は上階床の構築物に、その下階側は下階床の構築物に、上下階床間の中間点は独立した構築物にそれぞれ支持される構成となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来の支持構成は、乗客コンベアの長手方向を上階床,下階床及び中間点の3箇所で本体枠を支持して構成装置と乗客の全重量を集中的に負担する構成となっていた。そして、通常10トン以上にもなる全体重量を支持するための土木あるいは建築の高強度構築部を上記3箇所に分散して施工しなければならず、乗客コンベア設置上の工期とコストが隘路とされ、その解決が望まれていた。

本発明の目的とするところは、土木あるいは建築による高強度構築部の数を減らして施工に要する期間とコストを縮減できる乗客コンベアの本体枠を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記目的を達成するために、上階床と下階床の間に下部枠体,傾斜部枠体及び上部枠体を連結して配置される本体枠と、この下部枠体の上面を形成する下部水平床と、この上部枠体の上面を形成する上部水平床を備え、この下部水平床の下側の下部枠体と傾斜部枠体の一部が、下階床に構築されたU字溝状のピットに収納されるものにおいて、前記傾斜部枠体の底部の一部を、水平部と鉛直部で形成し、前記本体枠の下部側の底部を、前記下部枠体の底部から前記傾斜部枠体の底部の一部にかけて水平に連続する水平底部となし、この水平底部全体を前記ピット内の土木床に載置して設置し、前記本体枠を中間点で支持せずに上階床と下階床側で支持する構成としたのである。

【発明の実施の形態】
