本発明は、パチンコ機やスロットマシン（パチスロ機を含む）等の遊技機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
現在の遊技機においては、遊技機前面部に種々の機能部材が配されている。例えば、スロットマシンにおける機能部材としては、リールを回転始動させる際に遊技者が操作する操作レバーや、リールの回転を停止させる際に遊技者が押すストップスイッチ、あるいは遊技状態等を変動表示する液晶表示装置や、遊技状態等に応じて点灯もしくは点滅される各種表示ランプおよびそれらのカバーレンズ、遊技者に対する効果音等を出すスピーカ装置、さらにはリールの前面を覆う透明板や、メダルトレイ、化粧用パネル等がある。

従来の遊技機においては、上述したような各機能部材は、本体筐体の前面開口を開閉する扉体に一体的に組み付けられており、機種変更等を行なう際には扉体全体を交換するか、本体筺体も含めて遊技機全体を交換するように構成されているのが一般的であった。また、近年においては、扉体を複数の部分に分割して構成し、機種変更時等に交換が必要な機能部材が組み付けられている扉体部分のみを交換することにより、機種変更等に速やかに対応できるように構成された遊技機（特開２００１−９５９７３号公報参照）や、表示ユニットを着脱可能に収容する中枠を設けて、保守作業を容易とした遊技機（特許第２５６２３３０号公報参照）なども知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上述したような各種機能部材の中には、破損したり劣化したりする頻度が比較的高い部材がある。例えばスロットマシンでは、遊技者が操作する操作部に関連する機能部材の破損等の可能性が他の機能部材に比べて高い。ところが、これまでの遊技機においては、破損等の不具合が生じた機能部材を単独で容易に交換し得るようには構成されていなかった。遊技場においては速やかな修理、部品交換が求められることもあり、これまでは、不具合の生じた機能部材のみを交換すれば良い場合でも、扉体全体を交換することが行なわれており、このことが保守費用を高くする要因となっていた。

また、これまでの遊技機では、機能部材の一部分のみを容易に交換することができないため、機種変更をするには機能部材の全部あるいは大部分を扉体ごと交換する方法しか用意されていない。このため、機種変更の際には多大な費用がかかるという問題がある。

さらに、近年、資源の有効利用を図るという要望が、遊技機製造分野においても高まっている。しかし、これまでの遊技機においては、使用可能な機能部材が再利用される機会も無く廃棄されるなど、資源の有効利用を図るという検討が十分なされていなかった。

本発明は、上記事情に鑑みなされたもので、遊技機前面部に配される機能部材に関して、機種交換や修理交換の際に機能部材を部分的に交換することや、交換した機能部材を再利用することが可能であり、交換に要する費用の低減、資源の有効利用を図り得る遊技機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため本発明の遊技機は、前面開口を有する本体筐体と、前記前面開口を覆う大きさを有し、該前面開口を開閉可能に前記本体筐体に支持された扉体基部と、
遊技機前面部に配される複数個の、該遊技機を構成する部材としての機能部材を、配置領域別に１個または複数個の単位でそれぞれユニット化してなる複数個の機能部材ユニットとを備え、前記機能部材ユニットの少なくとも一部が、前記扉体基部の対応する取付領域に着脱可能とされ、前記扉体基部に取り付けられた前記複数個の機能部材ユニットを、左右両方向から挟むように前記扉体基部の左右の各側辺部にそれぞれ取り付けられる、該扉体基部の上下方向に延びたサイド部材を備え、前記サイド部材は、電飾機能を備えるものであり、かつ、該サイド部材の上下方向中央部において前記扉体基部の側面と対応する部分に設けられた鉤状の係止片と、前記扉体基部の側面に設けられた、該係止片と係合する切欠き部とにより、前記複数個の機能部材ユニットが不正に取り外されることを防止するものであることを特徴とするものである。

図２は、本発明に係るスロットマシンの一実施形態を示す斜視図である。図２に示すスロットマシン１は、遊技場の島設備等に設置される本体筺体２と、この本体筺体２の前面開口（不図示）を開閉可能なように、その右側辺部を開放端側とすると共に、その左側辺部を回動軸端側として、本体筺体２に支持された前面扉体３とを備えている。詳しくは図１を参照しながら後述するが、この前面扉体３は、扉体基部１０と、この扉体基部１０に取り付けられた各種の機能部材ユニットとを備えてなる。また、上記本体筺体２の内部には、遊技者を臨む位置に回転可能に配置された複数個（例えば、３個）のリールを備えたリール装置や、スロットマシン１を電気的に制御するための制御装置（いずれも不図示）が設けられている。

＜前面扉体の構成＞
図１は、上記前面扉体３の構成を示す分解斜視図である。図１に示すように前面扉体３は、上記本体筺体２（図２参照）の前面開口を覆う大きさを有する扉体基部１０と、上述の機能部材ユニットとして、上部ユニット２０、リールパネルユニット３０、操作部ユニット４０、腰部ユニット５０、下部ユニット６０、左サイドランプユニット７０Ｌ、右サイドランプユニット７０Ｒの計７個の機能部材ユニットとを備えている。

上記腰部ユニット５０は、化粧用の腰部パネル５１単独からなり、扉体基部１０の腰部ユニット取付領域１６に、扉体基部１０の右側辺部１１Ｒ側から差し込まれるように取り付けられる。
