Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an assembly hob used for gear cutting, and particularly to a technical field for improving the processing accuracy of the gear tooth profile.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as this type of assembly hob, for example, one disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 60-178530 is known. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the assembly hob has a large number (12 in the example) having a reference rack shape ideally meshed with a work gear (not shown) on the outer periphery of the
[0003]
For example, when gear cutting of a spur gear is performed using such an assembly hob, a blank processed into a disk shape of a compact wall with a lathe or the like is prepared, and this blank and the assembly hob are placed on a hobbing machine not shown. Attach and cut the part that gets in the way while giving ideal relational motion between the two, and machine the work gear. That is, the blank and the assembly hob are arranged so that the screw lines of the assembly hob coincide with the tooth line direction of the work gear, and the assembly hob is rotated around the hob shaft and the blank is rotated in synchronization. Thus, teeth having a tooth surface having an ideal involute curve can be sequentially formed along the outer periphery of the blank.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the hobbing as described above, only the portion that becomes the tooth surface of the gear to be cut is cut out by the rack-shaped blade, and the portion that becomes the tooth tip is not cut. The outer periphery of the blank is directly the tooth tip of the gear. For this purpose, the rack-like blade 2 (see FIG. 3) of the conventional assembly hob has recesses 7, 7,... Deeper than the tooth depth of the gear to be cut, and is cut deepest into the blank. In addition, a gap is formed between the blank and the outer periphery of the blank serving as the tooth tip of the work gear.
[0005]
However, in the hobbing method as described above, when a blank machined with a lathe or the like is replaced with a hobbing machine, the rotation center may be slightly shifted and the gear may be eccentric. In order to avoid the influence of this eccentricity, it is necessary to provide a sufficiently large clearance for preventing the tooth tips between the meshing gears from interfering with each other. As a result, the noise during the operation of the gears can be sufficiently reduced. There is a problem that you can not get.
[0006]
As shown in FIG. 6, the
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of such points, and the object of the present invention is to provide a tooth profile including the tooth tips of the work gear while preventing an increase in cost by devising the configuration of the assembly hob. The object is to improve the processing accuracy of the shape and to reduce the noise during the operation of the gear.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, in the solution means of the present invention, a dedicated blade for cutting out the tooth tip of the gear to be cut is provided in a state of being aligned with the rack blade.
[0009]
Specifically, the invention described in
[0010]
According to this configuration, when gear cutting is performed using the assembly hob, the tooth surface of the gear to be cut is cut out by the rack blade as before, and at the same time, the outer periphery of the blank is slightly cut by the dedicated blade. Since the tip portion can be cut out, the center of the tooth tip circle of the work gear can be exactly matched to the rotation center on the hobbing machine, that is, the rotation center of the work gear. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent the eccentricity of the gears and reduce noise during operation.
[0011]
In addition, the dedicated blade only needs to cut out the tooth tip of the gear to be cut, and it does not have a complicated shape like the conventional full topping hob, so it can be manufactured at a low cost and increases the cost of the assembly hob. No.
[0012]
In general, one convex portion of the rack-like blades formed to finish the tooth bottom of the workpiece gear, the recess is deeply formed so as not to interfere with the outer periphery of the blank, but the dedicated blade, said projection It is provided so that it may protrude to the intermediate position of a part and a recessed part, and at the time of gear cutting, the outer periphery of the said blank can be shaved and a tooth tip part can be shaved off.
[0013]
Further, since the dedicated blade is formed in a straight line, it is particularly easy to process, and can be manufactured with extremely high accuracy at a low cost.
[0014]
In the second aspect of the present invention, it provided one dedicated blades in the invention of
[0015]
In addition, when cutting out the above-mentioned tooth tip part, it is actually only necessary to cut the outer circumference slightly by the amount of eccentricity of the blank, and the load on the dedicated blade is considered to be extremely small, so there is only one dedicated blade. Is enough .
