本発明は、毛や毛屑を吸引しながら同毛を刈り込むもので、特に、犬や猫等のペット用として最適な吸毛機能付バリカンに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、毛や毛屑を吸引しながら同毛を切断して、一定の長さとなるように刈り込むことのできるペット用の吸毛機能付バリカンは知られている。この種の吸毛機能付バリカンとしては、例えば、図11に示す如く、バリカン本体1に吸毛ケース2を付設し、該吸毛ケース2の吸引口3を同バリカン本体1の切断刃4に近接配置してなるものがあった。この場合、吸引口3は切断刃4の刈り込み方向先側に近接配置され、該吸引口3の刈り込み方向先側の外縁部分に、同吸引口3へと流れ込む空気をガイドすると共に起毛させるガイドカバー5が突出延設されている。

したがって、該吸毛機能付バリカンにおいては、切断刃4の刈り込み方向先側に位置する吸引口3での吸引作用によって、切断されるべき毛Hが予め起毛される。その際、空気はガイドカバー5の内面に沿って吸引口3へとスムーズに流れ込み、該空気が流れる力によって、切断されるべき毛Hは確実に起毛される。この起毛された状態にある毛Hは切断刃4で切断されて、一定の長さとなるように刈り込まれる。ここでは、ガイドカバー5の先端縁を皮膚に沿って移動させることで、該皮膚と切断刃4との間隔寸法が一定に保持され、毛Hは同切断刃4によって一定の長さとなるように切断される。しかも、切断された毛屑は吸引口3から吸い込まれ、周辺に散乱しないように吸毛ケース2内へと吸引除去される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の技術において、切断されるべき毛Hを確実に起毛させるためには、吸引口3での風路面積と吸入風量とが必要であり、これ等を確保するのに、切断刃4を同吸引口3へとあまり大きくは侵入突出させることができないでいる。それ故、ガイドカバー5の内面に沿って空気の流れと共に起毛される毛Hが、切断刃4とは反対側へ偏って該切断刃4から離れてしまい、せっかく起毛されたにも係わらず、切断効率が良くないという問題を生じていた。

本発明は、上記従来の技術における問題を悉く解決するために発明されたもので、その課題は、起毛された毛が切断刃で確実に切断されて、切断効率の良好な吸毛機能付バリカンを提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の吸毛機能付バリカンは、バリカン本体に吸毛ケースを付設し、該吸毛ケースの吸引口を同バリカン本体の切断刃に近接配置してなる吸毛機能付バリカンであって、吸引口を切断刃の刈り込み方向先側に近接配置し、該吸引口の刈り込み方向先側の外縁部分に、同吸引口へと流れ込む空気をガイドすると共に起毛させるガイドカバーを突出延設し、該吸引口付近の刈り込み方向先側内面に同切断刃へ向かって突出する凸条を該切断刃に対応させて突設してなる。

図1〜10は、本発明の請求項1〜6全てに対応する一実施形態を示し、該実施形態の吸毛機能付バリカンは、犬や猫等のペット用として最適に使用することができるもので、バリカン本体1に吸毛ケース2を付設し、該吸毛ケース2の吸引口3を同バリカン本体1の切断刃4に近接配置してなるものであって、吸引口3を切断刃4の刈り込み方向先側に近接配置し、該吸引口3の刈り込み方向先側の外縁部分に、同吸引口3へと流れ込む空気をガイドすると共に起毛させるガイドカバー5を突出延設し、該吸引口3付近の刈り込み方向先側内面に同切断刃4へ向かって突出する凸条6を該切断刃4に対応させて突設してなる。
