従来この種の耳飾りは、図4に示すように、両端が所定の間隔で対向するよう開放したリング状装飾体11の一端に、耳たぶに挿通するピン12を対向端に向けて首振り自在に軸着し、なおかつ装飾体11の開放他端にピン12の先端を受け入れる止め金具13を設けたものが知られている。そしてこの止め金具13は、ほぼ中央にU字溝14を備えるとともに、このU字溝14の開口部分に上記ピン12を止め金具13の弾性を利用してはめ込むための細幅の首部15を設けたものであった。

しかしながら、上記従来の耳飾りはリング状装飾体11の他端に設けた止め金具13をロ−付けによって取り付ける必要があり、止め金具13が非常に小さいものであるために、ロー付けのために大変面倒な作業を強いられていた。

すなわちこの発明の耳飾りは、両端を所定の間隔で開放したリング状装飾体の一端に、耳たぶに挿通するピンを対向端に向けて首振り自在に取り付けてなる耳飾りにおいて、上記リング状装飾体を板状貴金属で形成するとともに、ピン取付位置の対向端に左右一対のピン挟持片を延長して設け、このピン挟持片を片面が対向するよう所定の幅に折り曲げてピン挟持部を形成し、このピン挟持部にピンをはめ込んで抜け止めするようにしたことを特徴とするものである。
