【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a dust-proof device for a belt-on-bearing, and more particularly to a device capable of preventing dust on a transported material from being scattered around without reducing the life of a conveyor belt.
[0002]
[Prior art]
At present, belt conveyors are the lowest cost transporter as a means of transport, and are widely used in various factories and facilities. However, if the transported material is powdery or contains powdery material, It is easy to scatter to the surroundings, and it is necessary to collect and remove the scattered powdery substance while deteriorating the environment. Therefore, how to prevent dust generation around the belt conveyor is an important issue in the belt conveyor.
[0003]
For example, for dust-proofing at the connecting part, the side skirt plate is attached to both sides of the conveyor belt, the skirt rubber is arranged on the outer side, and the lower end is slidably contacted with the conveyor belt to prevent the powdery material from being ejected. Is adopted.
[0004]
As for dust prevention on the belt return side, a belt cleaner is arranged at the head of the belt conveyor, and scraped material on the surface of the conveyor belt is scraped off with a hard chip of the belt cleaner, and the powdery material adhering to the surface of the conveyor belt is removed from the belt. A structure that prevents falling and scattering on the return side is adopted.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional dust-proofing method at the connecting portion, the conveyor belt is supported by a plurality of horizontal rollers arranged at a predetermined interval, so that the conveyor belt is caused by the impact of the fall of the transported goods from the chute. There was a possibility that bending would easily occur, and a gap was formed between the conveyor belt and the skirt rubber, and the powdered material was ejected. In order to prevent this, it is necessary to strongly press the skirt rubber against the conveyor belt. In that case, the contact pressure resistance between the conveyor belt and the skirt rubber is large, and the power for driving the belt conveyor is increased. In addition, the surface of the conveyor belt is worn, causing the belt life to be shortened. Further, if a recess is formed on the surface of the conveyor belt due to wear, the transported material enters the recess and cannot be scraped off by the belt cleaner, which may cause dust generation on the belt return side.
[0006]
In addition, in the conventional dust-proof method on the belt return side, the hard chip of the belt cleaner easily damages the surface of the conveyor belt, and if the surface of the conveyor belt is damaged, there is a risk that the hard chip will bite into the belt and cause the conveyor belt to be split vertically. is there. Moreover, since the hard chip is always in contact with the conveyor belt, it causes the surface wear of the conveyor belt to be accelerated. Furthermore, since a plurality of chips having a size of 100 to 150 mm are combined for the hard chip, there is a problem that not only the cost is high, but also the replacement is complicated and takes time.
[0007]
This invention makes it a subject to provide the dust-proof apparatus of the belt conveyor which enabled it to prevent that the dust of a transported thing splashed, without reducing the lifetime of a conveyor belt in view of this problem.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, the dustproof device for the belt conveyor according to the present invention stretches the conveyor belt endlessly, receives the transported material falling from the chute at the connecting portion on the upstream end side of the conveyor belt, and receives the transported material on the conveyor belt. In the belt conveyor that conveys to the downstream end side, a pair of side skirt plates are provided at the upper part of both sides of the conveyor belt at the connecting portion, and the side skirt plates are disposed in the longitudinal direction of the side skirt plates. A sponge dustproof member that seals the gap between the conveyor belt and the side skirt plate over almost the entire length is provided, and the dustproof member is in surface contact with the surface of the conveyor belt with a predetermined elastic force at its lower end surface, In addition, the elastic belt can follow the bending of the conveyor belt, while the conveyor belt bell A belt cleaner is provided on the return side, and the belt cleaner extends in the belt width direction and is in surface contact with the surface of the conveyor belt with a predetermined elastic force to scrape off deposits on the surface of the conveyor belt. The back skirt plate is provided with a main body, has a shape substantially along the surface of the conveyor belt on the upstream side in the conveying direction of the back skirt plate on the entry side to the connecting portion, and is elastically deformed by the conveying force of the conveyor belt. And a pad made of sponge that seals between the conveyor belt and the back skirt plate and the conveyor belt are set to dimensions that prevent the pad from being pulled into the connecting portion. And
[0009]
One of the features of the present invention is that a dustproof member made of sponge is provided outside the side skirt plate of the connecting portion, and the lower end of the dustproof member is brought into surface contact with the conveyor belt using its elasticity. As a result, the gap between the side skirt plate and the conveyor belt is completely sealed, and even if the conveyor belt is bent due to the impact of falling objects, the sponge skirt deforms following its elasticity, so the gap is There is nothing that can be done, and the blowout of powder is reliably prevented. In addition, since the sponge dustproof member is relatively soft as compared with the rubber material used for the conventional skirt rubber, the conveyor belt is less likely to be worn even if it contacts the conveyor belt. As a result of reducing wear, the dustproof member can be set to a certain width even if there is a gap between the dustproof member and the conveyor belt due to some cause, for example, a mounting error, etc. Even if it tries, it can reduce the possibility of colliding with either the lower end surface of the dust-proof member or the conveyor belt surface and jumping out directly.
[0010]
Synthetic resin foam such as urethane foam, foam rubber, etc. can be adopted as the dustproof member, but considering the usage situation of the conveyor belt, polyethylene foam with excellent weather resistance, chemical resistance, durability and wear resistance The body is preferred.
[0011]
Moreover, although the whole dustproof member may be comprised with sponge, it is good to give the resilience to a belt width direction to a dustproof member when the collision of the transport thing, etc. with respect to a dustproof member are considered. Therefore, it is preferable to form a dustproof member by inserting a core material that has elasticity and imparts resilience in the belt width direction to the sponge. The core material may be any material as long as it has elasticity. However, in consideration of cost, a synthetic resin material is preferable. Especially, when a synthetic resin material having conductivity is used, a sliding contact between the conveyor belt and the dust-proof member is sufficient. The generated static electricity can be released.
[0012]
The method of attaching the dust-proof member is not particularly limited, but a substantially inverted L-shaped self-supporting strut may be attached to the conveyor frame of the belt conveyor and supported at the tip of the self-supporting strut. You may make it fix to. In the case of the former mounting structure, it is preferable that the vertical column portion and the horizontal arm portion of the free-standing column can be adjusted in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction so that the position of the dustproof member can be adjusted.
[0013]
Another feature of the present invention resides in that a belt cleaner having a sponge cleaner body extending in the width direction is provided on the belt return side so that the cleaner body is in surface contact with the conveyor belt surface with a predetermined elasticity. Thereby, the surface deposit | attachment of a conveyor belt can be scraped off on the belt return side. Moreover, since the sponge of the cleaner body is softer than conventional hard chips, the conveyor belt is not damaged and can be easily replaced.
[0014]
The sponge cleaner body is in elastic contact with the conveyor belt by its own elasticity, but it is preferable to further provide a follow-up mechanism for elastically urging the cleaner body toward the conveyor belt surface to follow the displacement of the conveyor belt. . Further, although there may be only one cleaner main body, it is preferable to use a plurality of cleaner main bodies in order to ensure the scraping performance of the surface deposits. That is, it is preferable that a plurality of sponge cleaner bodies extending in the belt width direction are attached to the belt cleaner with a gap before and after in the conveyance direction. In this case, if the cleaner body on the upstream side in the belt running direction is made harder than the cleaner body on the downstream side in the belt running direction, the hardly adhered dust is scraped off by the first hard cleaner body, and the remaining relatively soft dust. Can be scraped off with a soft cleaner body to improve the scraping performance. Moreover, since the cleaner body is made of sponge, it can be used together with the draining function of the conveyor belt. In this case, the cleaner body should be set to a length that exceeds the entire width of the conveyor belt.
[0015]
Still another feature of the present invention is that a pad made of sponge is provided on the upstream side in the conveying direction of the back skirt plate of the connecting portion, and the pad that is in surface contact with the conveyor belt is elastically deformed by the conveying force of the conveyor belt, thereby The gap between the belt and the belt is sealed. Thereby, the ejection of the powdery material from the connecting portion to the upstream side in the conveying direction is surely prevented.
[0016]
In order to securely seal the gap between the back skirt plate and the conveyor belt, it is important that the pad has a shape or material that is easily elastically deformed.
