Claims (6)
- 搬送波の位相が互いにずれるように生成された複数チャンネルの光信号列を時分割多重化することによって時分割多重光信号を生成する光時分割多重器と、
前記時分割多重光信号のパルス幅をビット間隔以上の幅まで拡張するとともに、該被拡張光に隣接ビットの被拡張光を重畳する光干渉器と、
該光干渉器が出力した被重畳光の強度を検出する光強度検出器と、
を備えることを特徴とする光時分割多重送信装置。 - 前記光時分割多重器から出力された前記時分割多重光信号の一部を抽出する光分波器を、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光時分割多重送信装置。
- 前記光分波器によって抽出された前記時分割多重光信号を前記光干渉器に送るとともに、当該光干渉器から出力された前記被重畳光を前記光強度検出器に送るサーキュレータを、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光時分割多重送信装置。
- 前記光強度検出器の検出結果に応じて、隣接する前記光信号列を構成する前記搬送波の位相差が半波長となるように前記光時分割多重器を制御する調節器を、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の光時分割多重送信装置。
- 前記光干渉器が、前記時分割多重光信号を二分岐するハーフミラーと、一方の被分岐時分割多重光信号から前記被拡張光を生成して前記ハーフミラーに送り返す第1の繰り返し反射干渉計と、他方の被分岐時分割多重光信号から前記被拡張光を生成して前記ハーフミラーに送り返す第2の繰り返し反射干渉計とを備え、且つ、
前記ハーフミラーと前記第1、第2の繰り返し反射干渉計との間の往復光路長が、前記時分割多重光信号の1ビット間隔分ずれるように、当該第1、第2の繰り返し反射干渉計が配置された、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の光時分割多重送信装置。 - 前記光干渉器が、前記時分割多重光信号から前記被拡張光を生成する第1のグレーティング領域と、該第1のグレーティング領域を通過した前記時分割多重光信号から前記被拡張光を生成する第2のグレーティング領域とを備えるファイバ・ブラッグ・グレーティングを有し、且つ、
該ファイバ・ブラッグ・グレーティングの光入出力端と前記第1、第2のグレーティング領域との間の往復光路長が、前記時分割多重光信号の1ビット間隔分ずれるように、当該第1、第2のグレーティング領域が形成された、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の光時分割多重送信装置。
