一般的に、家庭用冷蔵庫は、例えば容器本体側、つまり庫内側に永久磁石の複数個を備えさせ、これら永久磁石の磁気吸引力により吸着できるように扉体を金属製のものから構成している。又、前記永久磁石の磁気吸引力を大きくするために、個数を多くしたり、容器本体側にS極の永久磁石の複数個を備えさせるとともに、これらS極の永久磁石に対して吸引作用するN極の永久磁石の複数個を該S極の永久磁石に対向位置させて扉体側に備えさせ、両者の磁気吸引力により扉体を強固に閉塞状態に維持するようにしている。
