Description
【0001】

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the optical connector of the present invention,
(A) The optical connector ferrule on the optical connector plug side can be easily butted and connected to another multi-fiber optical connector ferrule simply by inserting the optical connector plug containing the multi-fiber optical connector ferrule into the housing.
(B) Connection release work can be easily performed with the release lever.
(C) By adopting an optical connector plug or housing that contains a multi-fiber optical connector ferrule, space saving and cost reduction are possible compared to the case where single-fiber optical connectors are connected in series.
(D) Since the release lever protruding from the tip of the plug housing of the optical connector plug is housed in the lever insertion groove of the housing, it is possible to adopt a small housing that can house only the vicinity of the tip of the plug housing. The mounting density of optical connectors can be increased,
(E) A structure in which the release lever protruding from the tip of the plug housing is housed in the lever insertion groove of the housing can improve the strength against the side pull and stably and reliably maintain the low connection loss between the optical connector ferrules. There is an excellent effect of being able to.
