BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a motor drive device and a motor drive method having a short brake and a reverse brake.
[0002]
[Prior art]
There are two methods for stopping the motor: a deceleration method using a short brake and a deceleration method using a reverse brake. The conventional motor drive device has two modes, a short brake mode in which braking is performed by a short brake and a reverse brake mode in which braking is performed by a reverse brake. By selecting one of these modes, Controlling deceleration and stop.
[0003]
The motor deceleration method in the short brake mode is a method in which a short circuit is formed between terminals of the three-phase motor windings. On the other hand, the motor deceleration method in the reverse brake mode is a method in which a current in the reverse direction is supplied to the motor windings of a plurality of phases to excite in the reverse direction.

The specific operation of the conventional motor drive device 1E will be described below.
[0007]
FIG. 10 is a diagram showing an internal configuration example of the brake mode switching means 50D shown in FIG.
[0008]
During normal rotation of the motor M1, the torque command generation means 41 in the brake command generation means 40 outputs a torque command signal S2 based on the rotation control signal S1 from the rotation control means 30. Upon receipt of the torque command signal S2, the energization switching signal generation means 20 has the magnitude of the torque command signal S2 for energizing the motor windings of a plurality of phases at the energization angle based on the position signal S3 from the position detection means 10. An energization switching signal S4 having a corresponding magnitude is output to the energization control signal generating means 70D. The energization control signal generation means 70D energizes the power transistors Q1 to Q6 one after another based on the energization switching signal S4. Here, the rotation control means 30 is composed of, for example, a microcomputer and receives the position signal S3 output from the position detection means 10, and the microcomputer counts the period of the input position signal S3, The counted data and the built-in reference data corresponding to the number of revolutions per unit time are compared, and a rotation control signal S1 corresponding to the comparison operation is output. The torque command generating means 41 is specifically composed of a smoothing circuit and outputs a DC voltage obtained by smoothing the rotation control signal S1 as the torque command signal S2.
[0009]
On the other hand, when the brake command generating means 40 outputs the brake command signal S5 based on the rotation control signal S1 from the rotation control means 30, the brake mode switching means 50D configured by the
[0010]
When selecting the short brake mode, the brake mode switching means 50D selectively outputs the short brake signal / S7 based on the brake mode switching signal S11. The energization control signal generation means 70D receives the energization switching signal S4 and the short brake signal / S7 from the energization switching signal generation means 20, and outputs an energization control signal S8 to the power transistors Q1 to Q6. The power transistors Q1, Q3, and Q5 are all turned on by the energization control signal S8, and all the power transistors Q2, Q4, and Q6 are turned off. Alternatively, the power transistors Q2, Q4, and Q6 are all turned on and the power transistors Q1, Q3, and Q5 are all turned off to form a short circuit between the terminals of the three-phase motor windings L1, L2, and L3. Then, the motor M1 is decelerated and stopped by consuming the back electromotive force in the motor windings L1 to L3.
[0011]
When selecting the reverse brake mode, the brake mode switching means 50D selectively outputs the reverse brake signal S7 based on the brake mode switching signal S11. The energization control signal generation means 70D receives the energization switching signal S4 and the reverse brake signal S7 from the energization switching signal generation means 20, and outputs an energization control signal S8 of reverse polarity to the power transistors Q1 to Q6. The power transistors Q1 to Q6 energize the motor windings L1, L2, and L3 in the reverse direction by energizing the three-phase motor windings L1, L2, and L3 with the energization control signal S8 having the reverse polarity to the rotor r1. Apply braking.
[0012]
In this case, the reverse rotation detection means 60 detects the reverse rotation by detecting the cycle of the output signal of the position detection means 10 using, for example, a timer, but the cycle of the position signal S3 from the position detection means 10 is not less than a predetermined value. Is detected, the stop state is determined, and it is determined that the reverse rotation starts, and the reverse rotation signal S9 is output. When the energization control signal generating means 70D receives the reverse rotation signal S9, the energization control signal S8 supplied to all the motor windings L1, L2, and L3 is stopped. As a result, the motor M1 completely stops after continuing to rotate due to inertia.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, the conventional motor drive device brakes the motor M1 by selecting one of the short brake mode and the reverse brake mode. In the short brake mode, there is no noise of the motor M1 at the time of braking, and the braking force depends on the counter electromotive voltage. Therefore, the braking force is effective at high speed rotation, while the braking force of the brake decreases as the rotational speed decreases. It takes time to do.
[0015]
On the other hand, in the reverse brake mode, the motor windings L1 to L3 are excited in the reverse direction at the time of deceleration, so that the braking force is strong, but the noise level during high speed rotation due to phase shift is high. Further, if it is difficult to detect reverse rotation with high accuracy and the timing for stopping the energization control signal S8 having the reverse polarity is delayed, the motor M1 is excited in the reverse direction for a while and then starts rotating in the reverse direction after the motor M1 is stopped. Thereafter, the energization control signal generating means 70D stops energizing the three-phase motor windings L1 to L3. However, since the motor M1 continues to rotate due to inertia, it takes time to stop and the motor M1 stops moving to the stop position. Occurs.
[0016]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a motor drive device and a motor drive method that can reduce the noise level and shorten the stop time when performing motor stop control.
[0019]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
ContractClaim1The present invention includes a position detection means for outputting a position signal indicating a relative position between a plurality of phases of the motor winding and the rotor, and a rotation detection means for outputting a detection signal corresponding to the number of rotations per unit time of the rotor. A rotation control means for outputting a rotation control signal for controlling the rotation of the rotor; and upon receiving the rotation control signal, a torque command signal corresponding to the rotation control signal is output, and Brake command generating means for outputting a brake command signal for applying a short brake or a reverse brake for rotation, and a magnitude of the torque command signal for energizing the motor windings of the plurality of phases at an energization angle based on the position signal. An energization switching signal generating means for outputting an energization switching signal of a magnitude corresponding to the rotation speed, a rotation speed per unit time detected by the rotation detection means and a predetermined rotation speed, etc. In comparison, it is determined that the rotational speed of the rotor has decreased to a predetermined rotational speed, and a first brake mode switching signal is output, and the rotational speed of the rotor is determined to be the predetermined rotational speed. A rotation discriminating means for discriminating that the rotation speed has fallen to a speed just before the stop and outputting a second brake mode switching signal, the brake command signal, the first brake mode switching signal, and the second Based on the brake mode switching signal, the brake mode for applying the short brake is selected when the rotation speed of the rotor is the first rotation speed from when the brake starts until the rotation speed decreases to the predetermined rotation speed. When the rotation speed of the rotor is the second rotation speed from the time when the rotation speed is lower than the first rotation speed to the time immediately before the stop, the reverse brake is applied. Brake mode switching means for selecting a brake mode and outputting a brake mode command signal for reselecting the brake mode for applying the short brake until the rotation speed of the rotor is stopped from the rotation speed immediately before the stop. When the first and second brake mode switching signals are input, an OFF signal generating means for outputting an OFF signal that is a pulse of a predetermined cycle, the brake command signal, the brake mode command signal, the OFF signal, and the An energization control signal generating means for outputting an energization control signal for controlling energization to the motor windings of the plurality of phases based on an energization switching signal, and the motor windings of the plurality of phases according to the energization control signal With multiple transistors supplying powerA clock signal generating means for generating a clock signal having a predetermined frequency and a predetermined duty,The energization control signal generating means, upon receiving the OFF signal output from the OFF signal generating means, temporarily stops supplying current to the motor windings of the plurality of phases according to the OFF signal. Output control signals to the transistorsThe brake mode switching means further includes a brake mode for applying the short brake and a brake mode for applying the reverse brake when the clock signal is further input and the second rotational speed is based on the clock signal. Outputs the brake mode command signal that intermittently selectsIs.
[0020]
Claim1According to the invention, it is possible to switch the brake mode according to the rotational speed of the motor. For this reason, it is possible to reduce the noise level and shorten the stop time. Further, it is possible to make it difficult for the motor stop position to be displaced. Furthermore, since the predetermined number of rotations used as a reference for switching can be arbitrarily set, it is possible to control the time until stoppage. Further, by further providing an OFF signal generation means, when switching the brake mode, an energization control signal for turning OFF for a predetermined time is input to the transistor, so that it is possible to prevent a through current of the transistor when the brake mode is switched.Further, by further providing a clock signal generation means, finer switching control of the brake mode is possible. For this reason, the transition to the brake mode can be smoothly controlled to mitigate noise, and the predetermined frequency and duty can be arbitrarily set, so that the time until stopping can be controlled.
[0029]
Claims2According to the invention, a plurality of motor windings, a plurality of transistors for driving the plurality of motor windings, and the rotor according to a change in a relative position between the plurality of motor windings and the rotor And a control circuit for controlling the braking operation of the plurality of transistors, wherein the control circuit has a first rotation speed of the rotor. If it is a speed, short brake control is performed to short-circuit the terminals of the motor windings of the plurality of phases, and after determining that the rotational speed of the rotor has decreased below the first rotational speed, When the rotation speed is the second rotation speed until it is determined that the rotation speed is reached, the short brake control and the plurality of phases are controlled based on a clock signal having a predetermined cycle and a predetermined duty. A mixed brake control for intermittently switching between a reverse brake control for applying a reverse drive current to the data winding and determining that the rotational speed of the rotor is lower than the second rotational speed. When the rotation speed is the third rotational speed from the start to the stop, the short brake control is performed again, and a one-shot pulse is generated when switching between the short brake control and the reverse brake control. All of the plurality of transistors are turned off.
[0030]
Claim2According to the invention, since the mixed brake control for intermittently switching between the short brake control and the reverse brake control when the rotational speed is the second rotational speed is performed, the short brake control at the first rotational speed is changed from the short brake control. The transition to the brake control used at the rotational speed of 2 can be smoothly performed, and the noise at the transition to the brake mode can be reduced. In addition, since all the transistors are turned off once in response to the one-shot pulse when the brake mode is switched, it is possible to shift to the next brake mode, thereby preventing excessive through current from flowing through the transistors. .

Here, the rotation detection means 80 and the rotation determination means 90 constituting the brake mode switching signal generation means 200 will be described using a more specific example.

The rotation detection means 80 may be a counter or an F / V converter. First, when a counter is used as the
[0040]
As a second means, when an F / V converter is used as the rotation detection means 80, a voltage comparator is used as the rotation discrimination means 90. In this case, the voltage comparator (rotation discrimination means 90) is connected to the output of the F / V converter (rotation detection means 80). Then, the F / V converter (rotation detection means 80) converts the frequency of the position signal S3 into a voltage and outputs the converted DC voltage. In the voltage comparator (rotation discriminating means 90) connected to the output of the F / V converter (rotation detecting means 80), a DC voltage (reference value) corresponding to a predetermined number of revolutions per unit time and F / V conversion. When the output voltage of the F / V converter (rotation detection means 80) reaches a reference value, the first and second brake mode switching signals (S11a, S11b) is output.

[0043]
Based on the position signal S3 of the position detection means 10, the brake mode switching signal generation means 200 is a first level that becomes H level when the number of revolutions per unit time is equal to or less than a predetermined number of revolutions N1 (that is, at time τ1). The brake mode switching signal S11a is output. Similarly, the second brake mode switching signal S11b which is at the H level is output when the rotational speed is equal to or lower than the predetermined rotational speed N2 (that is, at time τ2). Then, the brake mode switching means 50A outputs the reverse brake signal S7 and the short brake / S7 based on the signals S11a and S11b from the
[0044]
That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the brake mode switching means 50 </ b> A is between the time τ 0 when the brake is started and the time τ 1 when the braking speed is reduced to the rotational speed N 1 (the rotational speed during this period corresponds to the first rotational speed). In order to select a short brake mode with a low noise level, an H level short brake signal / S7 is output to the energization control signal generating means 70A. Then, during the period from the time τ1 at which the rotational speed N1 is reduced to some extent to the time τ2 at which the rotational speed N2 immediately before the stop is reached (the rotational speed during this period corresponds to the second rotational speed), the reverse braking mode has a strong braking force. Is output to the energization control signal generating means 70A. Further, the short brake mode in which the rotor r1 does not reverse during the period from the time τ2 when the rotational speed N2 immediately before the stop is reached to the time τ3 when the rotational speed is stopped (the rotational speed during this period corresponds to the third rotational speed). For selection, an H level short brake signal / S7 is output to the energization control signal generating means 70A.
[0045]
As a result, when only one of the reverse brake and the short brake is selected as in the prior art, as shown in FIG. 3, it took time τ4 or time τ5 to stop, but in this embodiment, In this case, the time until stopping is shortened to τ3. Further, since the short brake mode is selected during high-speed rotation (time τ0 to τ1), noise is reduced compared to the case where the conventional reverse brake is selected. Furthermore, since the reverse brake mode is selected during low-speed rotation (time τ1 to τ2), the braking force can be increased compared to the case where the conventional short brake is selected. Further, since the short brake mode is selected in the vicinity of the stop (time τ2 to τ3), the rotor r1 can be stopped without reverse rotation as in the case where the conventional reverse brake is selected.
[0046]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, based on the first and second brake mode switching signals S11a and S11b from the rotation discriminating means 90, the brake mode switching means 50A has two brake modes, short brake and reverse brake. Use properly. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the noise level at the time of braking and the time to stop. Further, it is possible to make it difficult for the motor M1 to be displaced at the stop position. Furthermore, since it is stopped by the short brake, it is possible to omit the time required for the reverse rotation detection when the brake is stopped by the conventional reverse brake.
[0047]
In addition, since the preset predetermined value compared in the rotation discrimination means 90 can be set arbitrarily, the time and the number of times of applying the short brake and the reverse brake can be arbitrarily set. As a result, the time required for stopping can be arbitrarily changed. In braking at a specific rotation speed or less, it is also possible to start braking from reverse braking.

Based on the position signal S3 of the position detecting means 10, the brake mode switching signal generating means 200 is a first brake mode that becomes H level when the rotational speed of the motor M1 becomes equal to or less than a predetermined number N1 (that is, at time τ1). That is, as shown in FIG. 6, the brake mode switching means 50B has a period from the time τ0 when the brake is started to the time τ1 when the braking speed is decreased to the rotational speed N1 (the rotational speed during this period corresponds to the first rotational speed). In order to select a short brake mode with a low noise level, an H level short brake signal / S7 is output to the energization control signal generating means 70A. From the time τ1 at which the rotational speed N1 is reduced to some extent to the time τ2 ′ at which the rotational speed N2 immediately before the stop is reached (the rotational speed during this period corresponds to the second rotational speed), the clock signal generating means 100 On the basis of the clock signal S12, the mix brake control is performed in which the short brake mode with a low noise level and the reverse brake mode with a strong braking force are intermittently switched. Further, the rotor r1 does not reverse during the period from the time τ2 ′ when the rotational speed N2 immediately before the stop is reached to the time τ3 ′ until the stop (the rotational speed during this period corresponds to the third rotational speed). In order to select the short brake mode, an H level short brake signal / S7 is output to the energization control signal generating means 70A.
[0057]
As a result, when only one of the reverse brake and the short brake is selected as in the prior art, as shown in FIG. 6, it took time τ4 or time τ5 to stop, but in this embodiment, In this case, the time is shortened to τ3 ′ until stopping. Further, since the short brake mode is selected during high-speed rotation (time τ0 to τ1), noise is reduced compared to the case where the conventional reverse brake is selected. Further, during low-speed rotation (time τ1 to τ2 ′), the brake mode transition is made smooth by performing switching control of each brake mode intermittently. Further, since the short brake mode is selected in the vicinity of the stop time (time τ2 'to τ3'), the rotor r1 can be stopped without reverse rotation as in the case where the conventional reverse brake is selected.
[0058]
As described above, based on the first and second brake mode switching signals S11a and S11b from the
[0059]
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, switching between the short brake mode and the reverse brake mode has been described for the case where the clock signal S12 output from the clock signal generating means 100 changes at regular intervals. However, the present embodiment is not limited to this, and the present invention can be similarly implemented even when the frequency and the duty are changed with the passage of time.
[0060]
Further, in the present embodiment, a case has been described in which switching control between the short brake mode and the reverse brake mode is performed during low-speed rotation (time τ1 to τ2 ′). However, the present embodiment is not limited to this, and the present invention can be similarly implemented even when the switching control is performed immediately after the time τ0 at which braking is started. If it does in this way, the noise level at the time of a brake and the time to a stop can be set arbitrarily.

In other words, in the present embodiment, the short brake mode is selected from the start of braking until the current flowing through the motor M1 becomes, for example, a predetermined current value I1 or less, and reverse rotation is performed from the current value I1 to the rotational speed N2. A logic circuit in the brake mode switching means 50C is configured so as to select the short brake mode in which the rotor r1 does not reverse until the brake mode is selected and further stops from the rotational speed N2 (not shown). . Thus, the brake mode switching means 50C outputs the reverse brake signal S7 and the short brake signal / S7 having signal levels corresponding to the selection of each brake mode to the energization control signal generating means 70A.
[0066]
As a result, it is possible to cut off the supply current by suppressing the noise level until the current value becomes I1 from the start of braking, and the braking force is strong from the current value I1 to the rotation speed N2, so the time to stop can be shortened and the rotation Since it stops naturally by the short brake until it stops from several N2, it is not necessary to perform reverse rotation detection as in the past.
[0067]
As described above, according to the
[0068]
In this embodiment, the configuration using the clock signal generating means 100 described in the second embodiment can also be used. That is, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which the switching control between the short brake mode and the reverse brake mode is performed based on the clock signal S12 output from the clock signal generation means 100 from the current value I1 to the rotation speed N2. it can. As a result, in the present embodiment, the transition to the brake mode becomes smoother, and the noise during the transition to the brake mode can be reduced.

[0072]
The brake mode switching means 50A receives the first and second brake mode switching signals S11a and S11b output from the rotation determining means 90, and receives the reverse brake signal S7 (corresponding to the brake mode command signal) and the short brake signal / S7 ( Corresponding to the brake mode command signal), and the OFF signal generation means 130 receives the first and second brake mode switching signals S11a and S11b and outputs the OFF signal S16 for a predetermined time to the energization control signal generation means 70B. Is output. The energization control signal generation means 70B turns off the energization control signal S8 output based on the brake command signal S5, the reverse brake signal S7, the short brake signal / S7, and the energization switching signal S4 output from the energization switching signal generation means 20. It stops temporarily according to the input of S16.
[0073]
Specifically, the rotation discriminating means 90 outputs a first brake mode switching signal S11a whose signal level changes when the rotation speed indicated by the signal S10 from the rotation detecting means 80 becomes N1 or less. The brake mode switching means 50A receives the first brake mode switching signal S11a and outputs an H level reverse brake signal S7. On the other hand, when the OFF signal generation means 130 receives the first brake mode switching signal S11a, when the reverse brake signal S7 is output from the brake mode switching means 50A, the OFF signal (one-shot) is supplied to the energization control signal generation means 70B. Pulse) S16 is output for a predetermined time. Upon receiving the brake command signal S5, the reverse brake signal S7, and the OFF signal S16, the energization control
[0074]
As a result, when the energization control signal generating means 70B receives the OFF signal S16, it is possible to prevent the through current generated when the brake mode is switched by temporarily turning off all the power transistors Q1 to Q6.
[0075]
As described above, according to the

Note that the OFF signal generation means 130 in this embodiment can also be used in the
[0077]
In each of the first to fourth embodiments described above, the power transistors Q1 to Q6 may be composed of either an NPN transistor or a PNP transistor. Further, any transistor such as a bipolar transistor and a MOS transistor may be used. Furthermore, the rotation detection means 80 does not receive the position signal S3 output from the position detection means 10, but is a position detection means 10 that directly detects the number of rotations of the motor M1 (for example, a Hall element). It may be provided separately and its rotational speed may be detected.
[0078]
【The invention's effect】
According to the motor drive device of the present invention, it is possible to switch the brake mode according to the rotational speed of the motor. For this reason, it is possible to reduce the noise level and shorten the stop time. Further, it is possible to make it difficult for the motor stop position to be displaced.
