【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を検討した結果、畳縫着台の上前と下前の両側に設けた複数のミシンと、該ミシンを個々別々に駆動させる駆動手段と、少なくとも一方のミシン側に設けた癖取り装置とからなる畳縫着装置とした。ここにいう複数のミシンは同一又は個々に異なる種類のミシンを組合せて配置することができる。すなわち、平刺し用ミシンと返縫い用ミシンとを上前と下前に同一又は異なる機種で複数個設けることをいう。
