2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, many electronic devices are incorporated in electronic devices such as mobile communication devices such as mobile phones. In recent years, communication devices such as cellular phones have been rapidly reduced in size, and electronic devices mounted on them have been required to be reduced in size. At the same time, electronic component storage packages used in electronic devices have also been reduced in size. Multifunctionality has been required.

For example, a surface acoustic wave (surface acoustic wave element) filter used for a cellular phone generally has a

This surface acoustic wave filter is used as a band pass filter having a center frequency of a pass band from 800 MHz to several GHz in a mobile phone. The required characteristic at that time is suppression of signals outside the passband.

On the other hand, the characteristics of the out-of-pass band are improved by optimizing the electrode finger pattern of the surface acoustic wave filter element 7, but the inductance component due to the connection portion (bonding wire 6) between the package and the surface acoustic wave filter element 7 is improved. [0012]
The present invention has been devised in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and is used for a surface acoustic wave filter with improved attenuation in the high-frequency stop band and deterioration in isolation between input and output wirings. To provide a package.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The surface acoustic wave filter package of the present invention has a concave portion in which the surface acoustic wave filter element is mounted at the center of the upper surface, and a frame-like metallized layer is formed on the upper surface around the concave portion. A grounding conductor layer facing the metallized layer and an insulating base having a lower surface on which a grounding conductor for connecting an external electric circuit facing the grounding conductor layer is formed, and a lid attached to the metallized layer, the grounding The conductor layer and the ground conductor are connected by a plurality of through conductors formed inside the insulating base and / or castellation conductors formed on the side surfaces between the conductor layers and the ground conductor. The loop length formed by the conductor and / or the castellation conductor, the ground conductor layer, and the ground conductor is the center frequency of the passband of the surface acoustic wave filter element. It is characterized in that the more than one-quarter of the effective wavelength.
[0014]
According to the surface acoustic wave filter package of the present invention, the ground conductor layer and the ground conductor are divided into a plurality of through conductors and / or caster conductors formed on the side surfaces of the insulating base therebetween. And the loop length formed by the closest through conductor and / or castellation conductor, ground conductor layer, and ground conductor is set to a quarter of the effective wavelength of the center frequency of the passband of the surface acoustic wave filter element. Since the loop length can be made sufficiently shorter than the effective wavelength of the center frequency of the passband of the surface acoustic wave filter element, the resonance that occurs in the formed loop can be suppressed and the bandwidth can be increased. It is possible to improve attenuation and isolation degradation in the stopband frequency band of the surface acoustic wave filter.

【The invention's effect】
According to the surface acoustic wave filter package of the present invention, the insulating base has a recess in which the surface acoustic wave filter element is mounted at the center of the upper surface, and a frame-like metallization layer is formed on the upper surface around the recess. And an insulating base having a grounding conductor layer facing the metallized layer and a grounding conductor for connecting an external electric circuit facing the grounding conductor layer formed on the bottom, and a lid attached to the metallized layer. The ground conductor layer and the ground conductor are connected by a plurality of through conductors and / or castellation conductors formed on the side surfaces between the ground conductor layer and the ground conductor. A loop length formed by the adjacent through conductor and / or castellation conductor, the ground conductor layer, and the ground conductor for connecting the external electric circuit is the surface acoustic wave. Since the loop length can be made sufficiently shorter than the effective wavelength of the center frequency of the passband of the surface acoustic wave filter element because it is less than or equal to ¼ of the effective wavelength of the center frequency of the passband of the filter element. Since the resonance occurring in the generated loop can be suppressed, it is possible to improve the attenuation amount and the deterioration of the isolation in the frequency band of the stop band of the surface acoustic wave filter having a higher band.
[0036]
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a surface acoustic wave filter package with improved attenuation in the high-frequency stop band and deterioration in isolation between input and output wirings.
[0037]
The surface acoustic wave filter package according to the present invention can be used for a surface acoustic wave filter used in a mobile phone, so that the isolation between input and output wirings can be improved in practical use. have.
