Description
【0001】
尚、本願記載の「ロボット重心点」は、ZMP(Zero Moment Point:床反力によるモーメントがゼロとなる床面上の点)の意味を含むものとする。
【0016】
足首関節フレーム25L、25Rには、ピッチ動作用セクタギヤ27L、27R(足首関節ピッチ軸21L、21Rと同心)と、ロール動作用セクタギヤ28L、28R(足首関節ロール軸22L、22Rと同心)とが一体的に設けられる。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a legged mobile robot for stepping forward a plurality of legs in a predetermined order and a control method thereof.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A legged mobile robot has already been developed that moves a plurality of legs forward in a predetermined order. This type of legged mobile robot has the advantage of being able to walk on steps, although the structure and control are slightly more complex than those that walk with all legs lying down. .
[0003]
The lower end of the leg portion is usually provided with a foot portion that secures a predetermined landing area. In particular, in a legged mobile robot that performs bipedal walking, a one-leg support period or a leaving leg In order to ensure the stability at the time of landing, it is required to increase the floor area.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the foot is lengthened in the front-rear direction in order to increase the landing area, the stability during landing on one leg or the landing leg of the leaving leg is improved, but the landing leg is kicked out. In operation, the front end of the foot part easily interferes with the floor surface, so the foot part of the landing leg needs to be lifted high while being controlled parallel to the floor surface. In addition, there is a problem that walking speed decreases.
[0005]
The object of the present invention is to secure a sufficient landing area during a one-leg support period or at the time of landing of a leaving leg, and to control the foot part parallel to the floor surface in the kicking-out operation of the landing leg. It is an object of the present invention to provide a legged mobile robot and a method for controlling the same that can make high-speed walking with a wide stride.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a legged mobile robot according to the present invention is provided on a robot main body so as to be able to pivot forward and backward, and is provided at a plurality of legs that are stepped forward in a predetermined order and provided at a lower end of the legs. A foot part that secures a predetermined floor area, and a toe part that extends the foot part forward, and is provided at the front end of the foot part so as to be pivotable up and down. Composed.
[0007]
Moreover, it is preferable to further comprise urging means for urging the toe portion so that the bottom surface of the toe portion is in the same direction as the bottom surface of the foot portion. In this case, the bottom of the toe is always held in a position that is in the same direction as the bottom of the foot to secure the required landing area, and the toe is retracted and rotated when it interferes with the floor. Can be tolerated.
[0008]
Moreover, it is preferable to further include a drive means for performing rotation lock or forced rotation of the toe portion. In this case, it is possible to arbitrarily control the rotation of the toe portion and improve the walking performance of the legged mobile robot.
[0009]
Moreover, it is preferable that the said drive means is a lock mechanism which locks rotation of the said toe part in the position where the bottom face of the said toe part becomes the same direction as the bottom face of the said foot part. In this case, necessary landing is achieved by locking the toe portion at a position where the bottom surface of the toe portion is in the same direction as the bottom surface of the foot portion during the one leg support period or at the time of landing of the leaving leg. An area can be ensured reliably.
[0010]
And a control unit that controls the operation of the joint provided in the leg and the operation of the lock mechanism, and the control unit performs the locking operation of the lock mechanism in synchronization with the walking operation of the leg. Preferably, the unlocking operation is performed automatically. In this case, the rotation of the toe portion can be locked or unlocked at an appropriate timing, and the walking performance of the legged mobile robot can be enhanced.
[0011]
In addition, the control unit locks the rotation of the toe portion provided on the leaving leg at a position where the bottom surface of the toe portion is in the same direction as the bottom surface of the foot portion before the leaving leg is landed. Is preferred. In this case, the required landing area can be ensured reliably when the landing legs are landed.
[0012]
Further, it is preferable that the control unit releases the rotation lock of the toe portion when or before the center of gravity of the robot exceeds the foot front end position of the landing leg. In this case, the toe portion can be reliably retracted and rotated when the landing leg is kicked out.
[0013]
In addition, the control unit includes means for swinging the landing leg forward, and a rotation of a toe portion provided on the landing leg when the robot center of gravity exceeds the front end position of the foot part of the landing leg. It is preferable to include means for releasing the movement lock, and means for landing the leaving leg with the rotation of the toe portion locked. In this case, the toe portion can be reliably retracted and rotated during the kicking-out operation of the landing leg, and the necessary landing area can be reliably ensured when the leaving leg is landing. .
[0014]
In order to achieve the above object, the control method for the legged mobile robot of the present invention includes a step of swinging out the leaving leg forward, and when the center of gravity of the robot exceeds the front end position of the foot part of the landing leg. And a step of releasing the rotation lock of the toe portion provided on the landing leg, and a step of landing the leaving leg with the rotation of the toe portion locked.
