BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a robot hand having three or more fingers and provided with a control means for gripping a component by controlling the operation of these fingers.
[0002]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In order to transport and assemble various types of parts, as a conventional technology, a method that switches between multiple types of hands using the turret method while changing only one type of hand that can be transported and assembled using an auto tool changer. Adopted.
[0003]
However, in this method, as many hands as the number of types of parts are required, and in addition, equipment elements for replacing and switching those hands are required, resulting in high equipment costs. Further, it takes time to change and switch, and productivity is lowered.
In view of the above problems, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Nos. 5-60781, 7-164363, 8-90467, and 6-246671 have two fingers By making the distance variable, many types of parts are to be gripped, but there is a problem that the parts that can be gripped are limited. That is, for example, it is difficult to handle with two fingers for gripping various parts that are cylindrical and concentrically different in outer diameter.
[0004]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 6-155358 discloses a method in which the distance between fingers is variable and a three-finger hand is disclosed. It is also difficult to grip and convey the arranged parts.
Considering the assembly of various parts, since the clearance and chamfering between parts differ for each part, the assembly accuracy required for the assembly differs. In general, a positional deviation correction mechanism (an elastic body such as rubber) is added only to a hand for a part that requires high accuracy, and the hand is exchanged and the assembly work is performed only when the part is assembled.
In short, the actual situation is that there has been no provision of such parts that have different assembly accuracy in common for carrying and assembling.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a robot hand that can be appropriately grasped or assembled in accordance with components.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the control means can grip a large part by using all the fingers. Thereby, a large component can be reliably gripped. Further, the control means integrates fingers of a predetermined group according to the component and grips the component as one finger. As a result, the component can be gripped in a state where the number of apparent fingers is reduced, so that a small component can be gripped reliably.
[0006]
According to the invention of
[0007]
According to the invention of
[0008]
According to the invention of claim 4, when assembling the part gripped with the finger to the product, the control means is assembled by operating in a state where the gripping force of the finger is weakened according to the part. Even when a positional shift occurs in the assembled part, the part settles at the assembly position of the product, and the part can be reliably assembled to the product.
