BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a motor abnormality detection method and apparatus, and more particularly to a method and apparatus for detecting an abnormality of a DC motor and predicting a failure.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a motor, particularly a control motor, a brushless DC motor is often used because of its high efficiency and stability. Conventionally, in order to detect an abnormality of a DC motor such as a brushless motor, the number of rotations, driving voltage or driving current of the motor is monitored, and an alarm is issued if they exceed a set value and are out of the normal operation range. It was. There is also a conventional example in which a current is passed before starting the brushless motor to determine whether normal operation is possible (see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-322589
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the abnormality determination by simply comparing the rotation speed and driving current with a set threshold value, even if an abnormality is detected during motor operation, it may be too late if it is a fatal failure. In some cases, erroneous detection or omission of detection may occur due to current fluctuation in a short time or noise generated inside or outside the motor. In particular, in the case of a motor used in an unmanned facility such as a 24-hour factory or a mobile phone base station, when an abnormality occurs and a fatal system failure occurs, a great inconvenience is caused to the end user. Furthermore, in the case of checking the normal operation before starting the motor, it is not possible to deal with a failure during operation.
[0005]
In view of such problems, the present invention provides an abnormality detection method and apparatus capable of reliably detecting motor abnormality during motor operation, prompting motor replacement and maintenance, and preventing fatal failure of the entire system. The purpose is to provide.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention determines the starting point of the difference calculation based on the correlation value calculated from the detected current data detected during motor operation and the reference current data and the time when the detected current data is acquired. Then, a motor abnormality detection device and method for predicting a motor abnormality by calculating a difference between detected current data and reference current data are provided.
[0007]
The reference current data may be stored as an acceleration pattern, a constant speed pattern, and a deceleration pattern.
[0008]
In the present invention, the reference data is stored in advance in time series, and the calculation of the reference data and the detection data makes it possible to reliably detect the motor abnormality and to predict the failure.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is an outline of one embodiment of the motor abnormality detection device of the present invention.
When the
[0010]
The sampling data thus generated from the sensor signal is input to the
[0011]
One of the features of the present invention is that the current value of the motor drive current at the normal time is held as reference data, that is, template data in time series. The reference data set is a data set obtained in advance during normal operation of the motor, and a plurality of data sets can be stored in accordance with the control mode of the motor.
[0012]
Next, reference data acquisition will be described. The method for obtaining the reference data is the same as the method for obtaining the sampling data for detecting the abnormality of the motor.
[0013]
An example of a current waveform during normal operation of the brushless DC motor is shown in FIG. The vertical axis is the current value, and the horizontal axis is the time. In this example, PWM driving is performed. After the motor starts rotating, it stops after an acceleration period (A), a constant speed period (B), and a deceleration period (C) as shown in FIG. This is an example, and various motor controls are possible depending on command values given to the motor. Sampling in the A / D converter is indicated by a circle in FIG. In this example, because the motor is PWM-driven, sampling may not be performed faithfully to the current waveform depending on the sampling point. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3A, interpolation processing using a quadratic function is performed so that acceleration, constant speed, and deceleration are smoothly connected. The reference data is preferably divided into an acceleration period (A), a constant speed period (B), and a deceleration period (C), and each pattern is cut out and stored in a storage device. As an example, the extracted pattern of the acceleration period (A) is shown in FIG. When data is cut out in this way, the reference data storage unit has reference data for each acceleration / constant speed / deceleration pattern, that is, template data.
[0014]
After the interpolation processing as described above, the reference data obtained is, for example, a reference data storage unit of the storage device as a set of the number of times of sampling, sampling time, motor command value, and current value for each motor as shown in FIG. Stored in In FIG. 4, the cut-out for each acceleration / constant speed / deceleration pattern is not performed, but the cut-out is easy.
[0015]
Next, with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6, the motor abnormality detection operation during motor operation in the present embodiment will be described. FIG. 5 is a flowchart showing the entire motor abnormality detection. Steps S1 to S4 show steps until the input sampling signal is written to the sampling
[0016]
In the abnormality detection operation, the reference data is stored in advance in the storage device as described above. First, a command value is input to drive the motor M, a current flows based on the command value, and the motor M starts to rotate. As a result, the
[0017]
In step S1, the output signal of the current sensor amplified by the
[0018]
In step S2, interpolation processing of data using a quadratic function is performed on the sampling data input to the
[0019]
In step S3, the interpolated data is written in the sampling
[0020]
In step S4, it is confirmed whether writing of a predetermined number of data has been completed. If the writing of the predetermined number of data has not been completed yet, the process returns to step S1 and this process is repeated. If the predetermined number of data necessary for the calculation in the next step is prepared, the process proceeds to the next step S5 and the predetermined calculation is executed.
[0021]
FIG. 6 shows a flow of correlation calculation of the present embodiment.
In step S501, when starting the correlation calculation, an initial pointer indicating the initial position of the calculation is set. In the present embodiment, since the reference data obtained by cutting out the current values along the acceleration, constant speed, and deceleration time waveforms as the acceleration pattern, constant speed pattern, and deceleration pattern are held, the correlation calculation is performed using these three patterns. It can be carried out. Sampling data, which is input data, can be divided into patterns by knowing the input data is in acceleration, constant speed, or deceleration depending on the current command value, so that efficient correlation calculation can be performed. .
[0022]
In step S502, the predetermined number of sampling data written in the sampling
[0023]
In step S503, the reference data (template) stored in advance in the storage device is read out, autocorrelation is taken and written in the storage device.
[0024]
In step S504, input data and reference data are read from the memory and cross-correlation is obtained.
[0025]
In step S505, a normalized correlation value is obtained from the autocorrelation values and cross-correlation values obtained in steps S502, S503, and S503, and written in the calculation
[0026]
In step S506, the pointer is incremented to advance to the next point. In step S507, it is determined whether the predetermined number has been completed. If it is not the end point, the process returns to step S501, the correlation calculation is performed at the next point, and the normalized correlation value at this point is calculated. If it is the end point, the correlation calculation is terminated and the process proceeds to the next step S6 (FIG. 5).
[0027]
In
[0028]
If the calculation result exceeds the allowable range, an alarm output is output assuming that an abnormality has occurred in the motor.
[0029]
FIG. 6A shows the distribution of normalized correlation values stored in the calculation result part. This is an example in which the range of 3σ around the highest correlation value (= 1) is an allowable value. A value exceeding 3σ indicates an abnormality.
[0030]
As described above, according to the present invention, current data at the normal time of the motor is held as reference data, and an abnormality is determined by performing a correlation operation with the reference data. Therefore, reliable data can be generated. , Can prevent false detection. Moreover, the tendency of the change in the current value along the operation time can be known, and a failure can be predicted. Furthermore, the correlation calculation can be efficiently performed by having the reference data separately for the acceleration pattern, the constant speed pattern, and the deceleration pattern.
[0031]
(Second Embodiment)
In the second embodiment, the present invention further utilizes the fact that the current value along the time axis such as acceleration, constant speed, and deceleration of the motor is held as reference data. Get the actual time at the sampling time. The
[0032]
The second embodiment is obtained by correcting a part of the flow of the first embodiment, and will be described based on the flow shown in FIGS.
[0033]
In the second embodiment, first, in steps S1 to S4 until the sampling data is obtained and stored in the sampling data storage unit, the sensor signal from the
[0034]
The stored data is a set of sampling data, for example, as shown in FIG. 8, in which the actual time when sampling is executed is taken as the sampling time.
[0035]
Next, the calculation processing step in
[0036]
That is, after all the steps for obtaining normalized correlation values are completed (step 507 (FIG. 6)), in step S508 (FIG. 9), the calculated normalized correlation values are read from all the normalized correlation value memories. Sampling data having a maximum value greater than or equal to is obtained, and this is used as a starting point for difference calculation. Since the point where the normalized correlation value is the maximum is the most similar point to the reference data, it can be said to be the most normal data in the data, and the start point to see if there is a tendency to approach an abnormal state It is suitable to do.

In the next step S511, it is determined whether the point is a point to be calculated. Since the next point after the start point is not usually the final point, the process returns to step 509 to execute the difference calculation and write the result to the calculation result storage unit. This process is repeated, and when there is no more point to be operated next, the

In the first and second embodiments, the reference template, which is the reference data, is configured from normal data, but in the third embodiment, the abnormal data is converted into a reference template.
[0043]
FIG. 11A shows the current waveform at the time of restraint, and FIG. 11B shows the short-circuit current and surge current waveforms at the time of abnormality. In the third embodiment, data obtained from these typical abnormal current waveforms is adopted as the reference data. FIG. 11C shows an example of template data obtained from the current waveform at restraint.
[0044]
When the motor starts the restraint operation, as shown in FIG. 11A, for example, a pulsed current flows at intervals of about 4 seconds. When the motor is used in an environment that is likely to be in a restricted operation, it may be desired to reliably detect that the motor is in a restricted operation. In addition, when a part of the control circuit breaks down, it is often the case that an instantaneous short-circuit current or surge current is generated in the motor. In such a case, current value data in the case of a typical motor abnormality is obtained, stored as reference data in a storage device, and the same correlation calculation as described in the previous embodiment is performed. As a result, it is possible to know what kind of failure actually occurs. In the third embodiment, if the normalized correlation value is calculated to be high, it is determined that the abnormality is the same as the reference data.
[0045]
As mentioned above, although the example which performs a correlation calculation process was demonstrated as embodiment of this invention, this invention is not limited to a correlation calculation. For example, a predetermined period may be determined for sampling data obtained sequentially during motor operation and reference data (template) stored in the storage device, and a difference calculation may be performed during that period. By subtracting the normal time data from the difference, there is an effect that the abnormal data is clearly detected.
