Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a technique for preventing a battery pack from being erroneously attached to an electronic device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The battery terminals of the battery pack include at least a positive electrode side terminal and a negative electrode side terminal. In recent years, some battery terminals include a communication terminal for communicating the remaining amount of the battery pack and the like with the electronic device side. .
[0003]
And since the said battery terminal of a battery pack is normally provided in the side near the one end part of a battery pack, generally a negative electrode side tab is carried out from the can bottom of the battery can of a battery cell to the positive electrode side terminal vicinity (battery cover side). It is designed to be routed around the battery cell.
[0004]
By the way, in general, most battery cells have a cylindrical shape or a quadrangular prism shape. For example, if the battery cell has a quadrangular prism shape, the battery case also has a quadrangular prism shape. The space efficiency can be increased. In addition, in a battery pack using a rectangular prismatic battery cell, even if a plurality of battery cells are used, there is little dead space in the battery case, and the battery pack has a large capacity for the overall size. There is an advantage that can be provided.
[0005]
The battery pack having such a quadrangular prism shape is slid and mounted on the battery mounting portion of the electronic device.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the case of a battery pack with a square pillar shape, even if the insertion direction is wrong or the up / down / left / right direction is reversed with respect to the insertion direction, the shape seen from the sliding direction is point-symmetric, so it is incorrectly installed. There is a risk that.
[0007]
And if the battery pack is installed incorrectly, the positive and negative electrodes of the battery terminal will be reversed, and power will not be supplied from the battery pack to the electronic device. When contacted with the terminal on the device side, the terminal may be damaged or an electrical failure may occur.
[0008]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to prevent erroneous mounting of such a rectangular column-shaped battery pack on an electronic device.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, in order to solve the above-described problem, the battery pack of the present invention is a battery pack that is mounted on an electronic device by sliding the electronic device having a battery mounting portion, and has a rectangular column shape with a rectangular cross section. a battery case in which the, and a battery terminal provided on one end surface in the sliding direction, a battery pack formed erroneous attachment preventing grooves extending in the sliding direction on a part of the side surface other than both end surfaces in the sliding direction of the battery case In the battery case, the prismatic battery cell is housed in the battery case, and the erroneous mounting prevention groove is formed by cutting out one corner of the battery case into an L-shaped cross section, and from the bottom of the battery can of the battery cell. The negative side tab that is routed to the battery cover has a length in which a mis-mounting prevention groove is formed in the battery case. A side surface of the short sides of the shape, in which is disposed to avoid the erroneous mounting preventing groove position.
[0010]
Therefore, according to the battery pack of the present invention, since the shape as viewed from the sliding direction is not symmetrical, it is possible to use this to specify a unique orientation with respect to the battery mounting portion on the electronic device side. Therefore, in a direction different from the normal direction, the battery cannot be inserted into the battery mounting portion, and thus the battery pack can be prevented from being erroneously mounted.
[0011]
This also allows the battery terminal to be attached to the battery mounting portion in a normal orientation, so that it is possible to prevent an accident that the terminal on the electronic device side and the wrong terminal are in contact with each other. In addition, since the battery cells stored in the battery case have a quadrangular prism shape, space is not wasted compared to the rectangular prismatic battery case having a rectangular cross section, and the capacity is large for the overall size. A battery pack can be provided. In addition, since the erroneous mounting prevention groove is formed by cutting out one corner of the battery case in an L-shaped cross section, a predetermined space can be formed between the battery case and the battery cell. An arrangement space such as a negative electrode-side tab drawn around the battery cell can be provided, and space efficiency can be improved. In addition, the negative electrode side tab drawn from the bottom of the battery can of the battery cell to the battery lid is on the side of the battery case where the erroneous mounting prevention groove is formed, and the position where the erroneous mounting prevention groove is avoided. Therefore, there is no wasted space in the battery case, and a battery pack having a large capacity for the entire size can be provided. Further, the negative electrode side tab drawn from the bottom of the battery cell to the battery lid side is divided into a can bottom side tab and a battery lid side tab, and a PTC is interposed between the can bottom side tab and the battery lid side tab. Since it is interposed, the PTC can be accommodated in the battery case without difficulty in space, and the safety of the battery pack can be improved.
[0012]

[0045]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, the battery pack of the present invention is a battery pack that is mounted on an electronic device by sliding the electronic device having a battery mounting portion, and has a rectangular column shape with a rectangular cross section. a battery case in which the, and a battery terminal provided on one end surface in the sliding direction, a battery pack formed erroneous attachment preventing grooves extending in the sliding direction on a part of the side surface other than both end surfaces in the sliding direction of the battery case In the battery case, the prismatic battery cell is housed in the battery case, and the erroneous mounting prevention groove is formed by cutting out one corner of the battery case into an L-shaped cross section, and from the bottom of the battery can of the battery cell. The negative-side tab that is routed to the battery lid has a mis-mounting prevention groove in the battery case. Square a side surface of the short sides of the shape, characterized in that disposed in avoiding the erroneous mounting preventing groove position.
[0046]
Therefore, according to the battery pack of the present invention, since the shape as viewed from the sliding direction is not symmetrical, it is possible to use this to specify a unique orientation with respect to the battery mounting portion on the electronic device side. Therefore, in a direction different from the normal direction, the battery cannot be inserted into the battery mounting portion, and thus the battery pack can be prevented from being erroneously mounted.

This also allows the battery terminal to be attached to the battery mounting portion in a normal orientation, so that it is possible to prevent an accident that the terminal on the electronic device side and the wrong terminal are in contact with each other. In addition, since the battery cell stored in the battery case has a quadrangular prism shape, space is not wasted compared to the rectangular prismatic battery case having a rectangular cross section, and the capacity is large for the overall size. Moreover, the negative electrode side tab drawn from the bottom of the battery cell to the battery lid side is divided into a can bottom side tab and a battery lid side tab, and a PTC is interposed between the can bottom side tab and the battery lid side tab. Since it is interposed, the PTC can be accommodated in the battery case without difficulty in space, and the safety of the battery pack can be improved.
