【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は各種音響機器に使用されるスピーカを構成する支持部材としてのスピーカ用ダンパーおよびこれを用いたスピーカに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
最近のスピーカは小型高性能化のトレンドのもと、高品質ソースの普及とともに重低音再生が可能なものが求められている。小口径で重低音再生を可能にするためには、支持系の柔軟度を高くし、スピーカの振動板を大きく振動させ、体積速度を大きくする必要があり、微小な入力から大きな入力に至るまでボイスコイルに発生する駆動力に対して直線性がよい振幅を与える振動系支持部品、例えばスピーカ用ダンパーなどが望まれている。

まず、従来のスピーカについて説明すると、図9は従来のスピーカの断面図であり、同図によると、6はセンターポール6aを有するボトムプレート6bとリング状マグネット6cとこのリング状マグネット6c上に装着され上記センターポール6aとの間で磁気ギャップ6dを形成する上プレート6eとで構成された磁気回路であり、7はこの磁気回路6に装着されたフレームであり、8はこのフレーム7に外周がエッジ8aを介して結合され、内周が上記磁気ギャップ6dにはめ込まれるボイスコイル9に結合された振動板である。10は外周を上記フレーム7に結合し内周を上記ボイスコイル9に結合して上記ボイスコイル9を支持するスピーカ用ダンパーである。なお、ボイスコイル9はボビンにコイルを巻回して形成されている。

ここで、上記スピーカ用ダンパーについて、図6(a)、(b)、図7、図8(a),(b),(c)により詳細に説明する。

図6によると、1はボイスコイルボビンが挿入される透孔であり、2はこの透孔1の周囲に設けられたボイスコイルボビンを接合するための内周縁部である。3はスピーカ用ダンパーの外周縁部であり、スピーカのフレーム(図示せず)に接合される。4a,4b,4c,……4nは前記内周縁部2と外周縁部3の間で繰り返し形成され、円周方向に一周する凸凹の波型で、波型の形状変化で径方向の伸びを補償するというものである。材質は、一般的に比較的通気性が確保されている綿布などに熱硬化性のフェノール樹脂等を含浸させたものが主流であり、前記材料を加熱成形して形成している。

次にこの従来のスピーカ用ダンパーの変形メカニズムを図7、図8(a)〜(c)にて説明する。図7は従来のスピーカ用ダンパーの半断面図であり、静止時の形状とボイスコイルが−X変位した時のスピーカ用ダンパーの形状を重ねて表わした図であり、図8(a),(b),(c)はスピーカ用ダンパーを等価な板バネ構成で表わした図である。スピーカ用ダンパーの波型4の形状が内周部から外周部に至るまで同一の場合、円周方向に単位幅の切片において同一の柔軟度を保持していると考えられるが、スピーカ用ダンパーは内径にボイスコイルボビン、外径がフレームに固着されているドーナツ状であるため、模式的に表現すれば内周部に比べ外周部は柔軟度を低く(例えば二倍の半径の所では約二分の一以下に)なっていると考えるのが妥当である。

即ち、図8(a)は波型部の内径が2b、外径が2aの従来のスピーカ用ダンパーに数ヵ所にスリット5を追加したスピーカ用ダンパーの平面図を表わす。図8(b)は図8(a)のスリット5で4分割された1区画を薄い板で表現した図である。左端がボイスコイルボビンに接合される部分であり、その幅はπb/2、右端はフレームに接着される部分で、πa/2の幅を有する固定端であり、長さはa−bの台形形状に近似できる。図8(c)は図8(b)の幅πb/2からはみ出した部分を折り返して表現したもので、このスピーカ用ダンパーはある部分から2枚あるいは3枚に重なった重ね板バネを構成していることになる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
以上のように構成されたスピーカ用ダンパーは外周になるほど比例的に柔軟度が低く、すなわち硬くなることになり、振動が大きくなった場合に径方向単位長さ当たりの振動軸方向の変位が径方向の各部位に比例均等に分散されるのではなく、波型部の柔軟度の高低に対応して比較的柔軟度の高い内周部は径方向単位長さ当たりの振動軸方向の変位が大きく、柔軟度が低い外周部は径方向単位長さ当たりの振動軸方向の変位があまりとれない。

従って、従来のスピーカ用ダンパーは、ボイスコイル接合部が前後に振動しても、充分な力−変位特性の直線性が確保できないとともに、大きな変位を可能にできないという欠点があった。また、大きな振動振幅を得るためにスピーカ用ダンパーに波型を形成しているが、復元しうる繊維の収縮の範囲で直線性のよい振幅が得られず、最近の小口径のスピーカで重低音を出すために過大な入力を加えて振幅値を無理やり拡大しているために、内周部のみに振動振幅に耐え難い変化量が起きて結果的に内周部で破断するという課題を有するものであった。

本発明は上記課題を解決するもので、円周方向に分断され、多角形に配設された直線状の円筒あるいは半円筒状のロール部から構成し、ロール部の固定端近傍で開口率や厚さを変化させて柔軟度を低く設定することにより、ボイスコイルボビン接合部が振動軸方向に前後に振動した場合にロール部の曲率が変化して振動振幅するため大きな振幅値が得られ、そして比較的広い範囲の振動振幅の領域で上下対称性、ヒステリシスの観点から見て直線性の良い力−変化特性が得られ、振幅限界において振動振幅を抑制できるスピーカ用ダンパーを提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明のスピーカ用ダンパーは、ボイスコイルボビンが挿入固着される透孔を有する外形が多角形の内固定枠部と、内径側に内固定枠部の外形各辺と対向する平行な辺を有する外固定枠部と、前記対向する各辺を固定端とし、前記固定端から延出したロール部によって形成されるスピーカ用ダンパーであって、通常の振動振幅領域においてはロール部が形成する板バネの幅を等価的に狭く、あるいは厚みを薄くするなど変形部分の形状を等価設定して柔軟度を高くし、振動振幅の限界領域に至る近傍では板バネの幅を等価的に広く、あるいは厚みを厚くするなど変形部分の形状を徐々に変化させて柔軟度を低く設定して、通常の振動振幅領域では直線性の良い力−変位特性とし、かつ最低共振周波数を低く設定し、振動振幅が大きい領域になると徐々に低い柔軟度に変化して振動系を磁気回路などへの当たりによる異常音放射を防止できるスピーカ用ダンパーを提供できるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、ボイスコイルボビンが挿入固着される透孔を有する外形が多角形の内固定枠部と、内径側に内固定枠部の外形各辺と対向する平行な辺を有する外固定枠部と、前記対向する各辺を固定端とし、前記固定端から延出したロール部によって形成されるスピーカ用ダンパーであって、ロール部の頂部近傍の開口率を大とし、ロール部の固定端の開口率をゼロ又は小にしてロール部の固定端近傍で徐々に変化する開口率を有する開口部を設けたことによりバネとして作用するロール部の幅が等価的に頂部近傍で狭く、固定端の近傍で徐々に幅を広くし、振動振幅が小さい領域では高い柔軟度のスピーカ用ダンパーとして作用し、直線性の良い力−変位特性を与え、振動振幅が大きい領域になると徐々に低い柔軟度に変化して振動系を磁気回路などへの当たりによる異常音放射を防止するものである。

本発明の請求項3に記載の発明は、請求項1または2に記載のスピーカ用ダンパーであって偶数多角形で形成された内固定枠部と、前記内固定枠部及び外固定枠部の対向する各辺を固定端とし、前記固定端から延出したロール部が上側ロール部と下側ロール部を交互に形成した構成とすることにより、振動軸の正負の力−変位特性の対称性を更に改善できるものである。

本発明の請求項6に記載の発明は、請求項1または3または4に記載のスピーカ用ダンパーのロール部の頂部近傍の開口率を大となし、ロール部の固定端の開口率をゼロ又は小になるべく予め設定した非磁性の金属箔板でロール部を挿入前に形成し、内固定枠部及び外固定枠部のそれぞれ対向する各辺を固定端として、双方の固定端を橋渡しするように前記ロール部をインサート成型したものであり、金属箔板のロール部を適宜入れ替えることにより、柔軟度あるいは力−変位特性の直線領域の範囲を選択でき、かつ良好なヒステリシスが得られるものである。

本発明の請求項11に記載の発明は、請求項6に記載のスピーカ用ダンパーの金属箔板からなる一対の内側給電線を前記内固定枠部にインサート成型し、同様に一対の外側給電線を前記外固定枠部にインサート成型し、前記内側給電線の各一端をボイスコイルリード線の近傍に露出させ、各他端を内固定枠部のロール部の固定部にて導電性金属箔板から形成された対応するロール部に接合させ、前記外側給電線の各一端をターミナル接続部に露出させ、各他端を外固定枠部のロール部の固定部にて各ロール部に接合させた構成としたことにより、給電線が部品の中に保持され、またロール部が給電線を兼ねているため振動時に発生していた給電線にかかる異常音放射、給電線断線などの現象を抑制できるものである。

(実施の形態1)
図1は、本発明の一実施の形態のスピーカ用ダンパーの斜視図を示すものであり、図2は図1のスピーカ用ダンパーのA−O−B部分断面図、図3は要部である半円筒ロール部を形成する金属箔板の展開図である。

同図によると、11は本発明の一実施の形態のスピーカ用ダンパーであり、12はボイスコイルのボビンが挿入固着される透孔13を有し、外形は前記透孔13に略外接する正方形で形成され、軽量化を図るためにリブ形状により構成されている内固定枠部であり、14はスピーカのフレーム(図示せず)に固定される外固定枠部であり、内径側に前記内固定枠部12の外形各辺と対向する平行な辺を有しており、前記内固定枠部12の各辺を固定端15(15ai,15bi,15ci,15di)とし、前記外固定枠部14の各辺を固定端16(16ao,16bo,16co,16do)とし、前記固定端15と固定端16を橋渡しするようにインサート成型により形成された非磁性材料であるステンレス、リン青銅等の金属箔板からなるロール部17(17a,17b,17c,17d)によって構成されている。

以上のように構成されたスピーカ用ダンパーの動作について説明する。
ターミナルに入力が印加されると導電性金属箔板から形成された外側給電線19a,19c、ロール部17a,17c及び内側給電線18a,18cを介してボイスコイル(図示せず)に駆動電流が印加されて駆動力を受け、ボイスコイルボビンが挿入固着された内固定枠部12が振動軸方向に振動する。この時金属箔板で形成されたロール部17は板バネとして作用し、変形により駆動力と均衡をとりながら振動系を支持する。

ここでロール部17の頂部17T近傍から中間部17Mまでの範囲においてはエッチング、打抜きなどの処理工程により均等に開口して開口率を大きく且つ等しく設定し、ロール部17の固定端17Bの開口率をゼロにして中間部17Mからロール部17の固定端17B近傍までの範囲においては開口率を徐々に小さく変化する開口部にしているために、板バネの柔軟度を決定する板幅が等価的に頂部近傍で狭く、固定端17B近傍で徐々に幅が広くなることにより、振動振幅が小さい領域では高い柔軟度のスピーカ用ダンパーとして作用し、かつ中間部の変形が柔軟度を決定する振動振幅領域に至るまでは直線性の良い力−変位特性を与え、振動振幅がさらに大きい領域になると徐々に低い柔軟度に変化して振動系の振動振幅を抑制し、振動系の磁気回路などへの当たりによる異常音放射を防止するものである。

また、給電線が部品の中に保持され、またロール部17が給電線を兼ねているため振動時に給電線が他の部品に接触して発生していた異常音放射、給電線断線などの給電線自体に関わる不都合な現象を回避できるものである。

尚、上記実施の形態では半円筒状のロール部17を全て凸型の形態で説明したが、偶数個配列される場合においてはロール部17を交互に凸型と凹型を配設することにより、振動軸方向の中心保持性、力−変位特性の上下の対称性を改善することができる。更に平坦な金属箔板を変形させて挿入し、インサート成型した場合にはロール部17に発生する応力がバランスした状態で振動軸方向の中心保持が設定されるために、微小振動振幅領域でも応答性がさらに良くなる。

本発明の他の実施の形態を図4により説明する。図4はスピーカ用ダンパーの図2と同様のA−O−B部分断面図である。なお、以降の実施の形態の説明にあたっては実施の形態1と同一部分は同一番号を付与し、説明を省略して説明する。

同図によると、実施の形態1との相違点はロール部17の構成であり、内固定枠部12の各辺を固定端15(15ai,15bi,15ci,15di)とし、外固定枠部14の各辺を固定端16(16ao,16bo,16co,16do)とし、前記固定端15と固定端16から延出するようにインサート成型により形成されたステンレスやリン青銅等の金属箔板からなる断面略円形の筒体23を少なくとも一対以上形成し、上側のロール部17(17au,17bu,17cu,17du)及び下側のロール部17(17ad,17bd,17cd,17dd)で構成したもので、それぞれのロール部17の頂部(底部)で開口率を大とし、固定端近傍で小さくすることは実施の形態1と同様である。振動軸方向の対称性のさらなる改善と横ずれに対する抵抗力の向上により中心保持性の改善が図れるスピーカ用ダンパーを実現したものである。

本発明の他の実施の形態を図5により説明する。図5はスピーカ用ダンパーの図2と同様のA−O−B部分断面図である。なお、実施の形態の説明にあたっては実施の形態1,2と同一部分は同一番号を付与し、説明を省略して説明する。

同図によると、実施の形態1,2との相違点はロール部17の構成と補助給電線にあり、内固定枠部12の各辺を固定端15(15ai,15bi,15ci,15di)とし、外固定枠部14の各辺を固定端16(16ao,16bo,16co,16do)とし、前記固定端15と固定端16を橋渡しするように延出したロール部17(17a,17b,17c,17d)を射出成型により形成し、さらに前記ロール部17の頂部17T近傍から中間部17Mまでの範囲においては肉厚を薄く且つ等しく設定し、ロール部17の固定端17Bの肉厚を厚くして中間部17Mからロール部17の固定端17B近傍までの範囲においては徐々に厚く変化する肉厚部を設けたことにより、振動振幅が小さい領域では高い柔軟度のスピーカ用ダンパーとして作用し、直線性の良い力−変位特性を与え、振動振幅が大きい領域になると徐々に低い柔軟度に変化して振動系の磁気回路などへの当たりによる異常音放射を防止でき、さらには一体樹脂成型が可能となるものである。

また、一対の導電性金属箔24(24a,24c)を前記内固定枠部12にインサート成型し、前記導電性金属箔24の各一端24をボイスコイルリード線の近傍に露出させ、他端24aoを内固定枠部12の角部に露出させた構成により、給電線を外部ターミナルに最短距離で引き出しでき、振動時にロール部17に当たって異常音を出すなどの不都合なことが回避できる。

なお、上記実施の形態では半円筒状のロール部17を全て凸型の形態で説明したが、偶数個配列される場合においてはロール部17を交互に凸型と凹型を配設することにより、振動軸方向の中心保持性、力−変位特性の上下の対称性を改善することができる。また、実施の形態3で説明した樹脂成型の半円筒状のロール部17を樹脂成型にて断面略円形の筒体を少なくとも一対以上形成してもよく、上側のロール部17及び下側のロール部17の形状効果により、振動軸方向の対称性のさらなる改善と横ずれに対する抵抗力の向上により中心保持性の改善が図れるスピーカ用ダンパーを実現するものである。

以上のように本発明のスピーカ用ダンパーは、円周方向に分断され、多角形に配設された直線状の円筒あるいは半円筒状のロール部から構成することにより、振動振幅が小さい領域では高い柔軟度のスピーカ用ダンパーとして作用し、スピーカの最低共振周波数を低く設定でき、重低音再生が可能な比較的小型のスピーカを実現することができ、さらに中間部の変形が柔軟度を決定する振動振幅領域に至るまでは直線性の良い力−変位特性が与えられ、かつロール部を上下対称に配置することによる振動軸方向の対称性のさらなる改善と横ずれに対する抵抗力の向上により中心保持性の改善が図れ、さらに金属箔板を形状保持してインサート成型した場合にはロール部に発生する応力がバランスした状態で振動軸方向の中心保持が設定されるために、微小振動振幅領域でも応答性がさらに良くなるのでパワーリニアリティの良好なスピーカを実現することができ、そして振動振幅がさらに大きい領域になると徐々に低い柔軟度に変化して振動系の振動振幅を抑制するので、振動系の磁気回路などへの当たりによる異常音放射を防止できるスピーカを提供できるものである。

【発明の効果】
以上のように本発明のスピーカ用ダンパーは、円周方向に分断され、多角形に配設された直線状の円筒あるいは半円筒状のロール部から構成することにより、ボイスコイルボビン接合部が振動軸方向に前後に振動した場合にロール部の曲率が変化して振動振幅するため大きな振幅値が得られ、そして比較的広い範囲の振動振幅の領域で上下対称性、ヒステリシスの観点から見ても直線性の良い力−変位特性が得られ、振幅限界において振動振幅を抑制できるスピーカ用ダンパーを提供するものである。
