BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cassette storage case suitable for storing and storing a tape cassette such as for a video cassette, and more particularly to a tape storage case that can effectively absorb a drop impact and avoid damage to the cassette.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Video tape cassettes for broadcast stations and consumers are generally stored in a synthetic resin storage case prepared separately when stored as a library. However, tape cassettes are large and heavy. Therefore, when a broadcaster or consumer is in the library or preparing to shoot or play indoors or outdoors, the storage case containing the tape cassette is accidentally moved to a hard floor or road such as concrete. It may be dropped.
[0003]
Conventionally, as a countermeasure against the impact when the storage case is dropped, for example, an impact buffer portion that absorbs the drop impact by elastic deformation is provided integrally on the peripheral portion of the storage case (see
[0004]
In addition, a spring member such as a leaf spring or a coil spring is disposed on the bottom surface inside the storage case to elastically support the reel of the tape cassette and avoid damage to the reel from a drop impact (

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the storage case described in
[0007]
Further, in the storage cases described in
[0008]
Moreover, in the storage case described in Patent Document 4, there is no great difficulty in the moldability and workability of the case itself. On the other hand, if the area of the case lid portion decreases with the downsizing of the case, the elastic function of the lid portion is lowered, and it is difficult to obtain a sufficient action for elastically supporting the cassette inside the case. For this reason, a cassette storage case having an impact absorbing structure that can sufficiently cope with the downsizing of the case is desired.
[0009]
This invention is made in view of the above-mentioned problem, and makes it a subject to provide the cassette storage case which can ensure sufficient shock absorption function, without impairing productivity.
[0010]
In solving the above problems, the cassette storage case of the present invention has a rib body that elastically contacts the outer surface of the tape cassette stored in the storage space on the inner surface of the case forming the storage space of the tape cassette. Auxiliary ribs that are lower than the rib body are on the same plane. It is formed integrally.
[0011]
In the present invention, the rib body formed on the inner surface portion of the case is elastically brought into contact with the outer surface portion of the tape cassette, and the tape cassette can be effectively absorbed by an elastic deformation of the rib body when dropped. I try to protect it. Moreover, since the said rib body is integrally formed in the case inner surface part, a case can be comprised by the shaping | molding operation | work of 1 shot, and, thereby, the fall of productivity can be prevented.
[0012]
Preferably, the rib body is formed of a strip erected on the inner surface of the case. This is to ensure elastic deformability by utilizing the thinness of the strip. Therefore, the elastic contact force with respect to the tape cassette is arbitrarily adjusted by appropriately selecting the number of the strips arranged, the height, the thickness, and the like.
[0013]
In order to obtain an appropriate elastic supporting action of the tape cassette, it is necessary to give repeatability (reproducibility) to the elastic contact posture of the rib body with respect to the tape cassette. Therefore, in the present invention, the tip of the rib body is formed in a curved shape. As a result, the tape cassette can be always supported in the same posture, and a stable shock absorbing function can be provided over a long period of time.
[0014]
On the other hand, since it is assumed that the rib body deforms beyond its elastic limit depending on the magnitude of impact, in order to prevent excessive deformation of the rib body The cassette storage case of the present invention Auxiliary ribs with a lower height than the rib body Have . Thereby, the deformation amount of the rib body is kept constant, and the durability of the rib body is enhanced. The auxiliary ribs are formed integrally with the rib body forming surface to prevent deterioration of the moldability of the case.
[0015]
The height of the auxiliary rib is preferably formed such that the rib body does not reach its elastic limit. Thereby, durability of a rib body can be improved. It is also possible to give the auxiliary rib itself an elastic function. Also in this case, it is necessary to pay attention so that the rib body does not reach the elastic limit when the cassette is elastically contacted. Further, by forming the auxiliary rib thicker than the rib body, deformation of the auxiliary rib when receiving the tape cassette at the time of impact can be suppressed.
[0016]
Another cassette storage case of the present invention includes a box having a storage space in which a tape cassette is stored, a side wall, a lid that includes the side wall, and covers the box, and the box and the lid. A cassette housing case that is connected to the upper surface of the tape cassette and is connected to the upper surface of the tape cassette with a gap between the upper surface of the tape cassette. Auxiliary ribs facing each other are erected on the inner surface of the lid body.
[0017]
With this configuration, a high shock absorbing function in the thickness direction of the tape cassette stored in the storage space can be obtained, the shock absorbing function can be maintained over a long period of time, and moldability and productivity are impaired. A cassette storage case that cannot be used can be configured.

【Example】
A cassette storage case having the above-described configuration was actually manufactured, a tape cassette was stored in this case, a drop impact test and a repeatability test of the shock absorbing rib were performed, and the effect of the present invention was confirmed. The tape cassette used in the experiment is Sony Corporation's Betacam series “HD Cam-SR”. The storage case was made of polypropylene, and was manufactured by single shot injection molding with a single die.
[0069]
The shock absorbing rib (the rib body of the present invention) and the cassette receiving rib (the auxiliary rib of the present invention) are provided on both sides of the inner surface of the lid of the storage case in the same manner as in the above embodiment, and three shock absorbing ribs on one side. And two cassette receiving ribs on one side were alternately formed on a substantially straight line at a position about 6 mm away from the side wall of the lid.
[0070]
The shock absorbing rib had a width (length) of 10 mm, a thickness of 0.3 mm, and a height of 3.7 mm, and the curvature radius of the curved portion at the tip was 1.8 mm. One cassette receiving rib had a width (length) of 8 mm, a thickness of 1.5 mm, and a height of 2.4 mm.
[0071]
As a test method for the drop impact test, after dropping the storage case containing the cassette onto a plastic tile from a height of 75 cm, the cassette appearance and internal structure (reel, etc.) are visually inspected for damage. The number of samples recognized as was confirmed. The crack was not broken. The repeatability test is “possible” if the case lid (lid) is opened and closed 500 times with the cassette stored in the storage case and the height of the shock absorbing rib is 80% or more of the initial height. It was. The experimental results are shown in Table 1.
[0072]
[Table 1]
[0073]
As is apparent from Table 1, when compared with a conventional storage case that stores the same type of tape cassette and does not include the shock absorbing rib according to the present invention, the damage status of the tape cassette after the drop test is as follows: It turns out that it is reduced to 1/10 than before. Thereby, it was confirmed that the shock absorbing function of the shock absorbing rib of the present invention is very effective.
[0074]
As a result of the repeatability test, it was found that the height of the shock absorbing rib was maintained at 80% or more of the initial height, thereby confirming the effect of the cassette receiving rib according to the present invention.
[0075]
The embodiment of the present invention has been described above. Of course, the present invention is not limited to this, and various modifications can be made based on the technical idea of the present invention.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the cassette storage case of the present invention, the rib body formed on the inner surface portion of the case is elastically brought into contact with the outer surface portion of the tape cassette. The rib can be efficiently absorbed by the elastic deformation of the body to protect the tape cassette, and the rib body is integrally formed on the inner surface of the case, so that the case can be formed by a one-shot molding operation. This can prevent a reduction in productivity.
[0080]
If an auxiliary rib for restricting the amount of elastic deformation of the rib body is provided, the shock absorbing function of the rib body can be maintained for a long time.
