In this case, the circuit constant of the smoothing circuit S10 seems to have an AC removal characteristic sufficient to average a waveform obtained by converting positive and negative voltage waveforms into the same polarity in one cycle and to ensure a desired control accuracy. Must be determined. In order to obtain such a circuit constant, in the smoothing circuit S10 shown in FIG. 2, the value of the time constant generally determined by the capacitor C10 and the resistor R10 is set to a length several times the length of one cycle of the AC waveform. become.

Further, when the engine speed is high, the frequency of the AC output output from the winding 1 becomes high. In this case, the attenuation amount for the AC component in the smoothing circuit S10 becomes large. Therefore, the magnitude of the voltage change detected between the terminals of the capacitor C10 is reduced. Therefore, the potential difference generated when the thyristor SCR 10 is turned on / off becomes small, and the on / off state of the thyristor SCR 10 may be affected by slight voltage fluctuations caused by noise or the like.
[0014]
The present invention has been made under such a background, and provides a voltage adjusting device for a magnet generator that can improve controllability in controlling the voltage applied to a headlamp as compared with a conventional device. With the goal.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a voltage regulator for a magnetic generator according to the present invention includes a first charging means (C1) charged when a positive output is generated by the magnetic generator for charging a storage battery, and a positive electrode A second charging means (C3) that is charged by the output voltage and the charging voltage of the first charging means (C1) when a negative polarity output having a polarity opposite to that of the positive output is generated, and a second charging means (C3) Short-circuiting means for short-circuiting the output of the magnet generator when the charging voltage becomes a predetermined voltage.
[0016]
The voltage generator for a magnet generator according to the present invention is further characterized by comprising offset voltage generating means (D1, R2) for causing the second charging means (C3) to have a predetermined offset voltage.
[0017]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a configuration of a voltage regulator for a magnet generator according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this figure, parts corresponding to those in FIG. Is omitted.
[0018]
In FIG. 1,
[0019]
In this case, when the thyristor SCR1 is turned on, the terminal CH and the ground terminal E are short-circuited. When the terminal CH and the terminal E of the winding 1 are short-circuited, the output of the terminal LA is the same as that of the ground. Therefore, the case where the terminal CH is short-circuited is basically the same as the case where the terminal LA is short-circuited. It becomes the operation state. However, when the terminal CH is short-circuited, the transient change of the short-circuit current flowing through the thyristor SCR1 can be made gentler than when the terminal LA is short-circuited, so that the change in the output current and voltage at the terminal LA can be further increased. Can be relaxed. Note that a circuit similar to the circuit illustrated in FIG. 2 can be applied in this embodiment mode.
[0020]
The gate control circuit 80 includes a capacitor C1, a resistor R1, and a diode D1 connected in series between the terminal LA and the ground terminal E, and a resistor R3, a resistor R4, a capacitor C2, A capacitor C3, a resistor R2 connected between a connection point of the resistor R1 and the diode D2 and a connection point between the capacitors C2 and C3, a PNP transistor Q1 whose emitter terminal is grounded, and an anode terminal of the capacitors C2 and C3 A Zener diode ZD1 having a cathode terminal connected to the base terminal of the transistor Q1, a resistor R5 connected between the base and emitter terminals of the transistor Q1, and a collector terminal of the transistor Q1. The resistor R6 to which one end is connected, the other end of the resistor R6, and the gate of the thyristor SCR1 A diode D2 connected between the terminals, and a resistor R7 Prefecture. The cathode terminal of the diode D1 is grounded, the cathode terminal of the diode D2 is connected to the gate terminal of the thyristor SCR1, and the connection point between the capacitor C1 and the resistor R1 and the connection point between the resistors R3 and R4 are connected to each other. .
[0021]
Next, the operation of the gate control circuit 80 will be described.
When the Zener diode ZD1 is in a non-conducting state, the AC voltage of the terminal LA is applied to the capacitor C3 through two paths (a path through the resistor R2 and a path through the resistor R4). That is, the capacitor C3 is charged and discharged in an alternating manner by the voltage at the terminal LA. Here, charging and discharging of the capacitor C3 is defined as a current flow in the direction shown in the drawing. In addition, according to the present embodiment, charging and discharging are performed only once during one cycle of the AC voltage at the terminal LA. This is a significant operational feature of the present invention that differs from the conventional circuit shown in FIG. 2 in that the capacitor C10 is charged twice during one cycle.
[0022]
Here, unlike the case shown here, considering the case where the circuit configuration relating to the capacitors C1, C2 and C3 is symmetrical between the terminal LA and the ground terminal E, the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 is then considered. C Becomes a voltage that swings in a positive / negative symmetry with respect to the ground potential. However, in actuality, in this embodiment, the connection relationship between the capacitors C1 to C3, the diode D1, and the resistors R1 to R3 is not symmetrical between the terminal LA and the ground terminal E. In particular, the provision of the diode D1 makes it positive and negative. A circuit is formed that changes to conductive or non-conductive depending on the direction. The operation of the diode D1 causes the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3. C Is a voltage offset to the negative side.
[0023]
This occurs because the current at the time of discharging the capacitor C3 is smaller than the current at the time of charging because of the diode D1. That is, the current charged / discharged to / from the capacitor C3 through the resistor R4 and the capacitor C2 shows almost the same change between positive and negative regardless of the polarity of the terminal LA, whereas the current charged / discharged from the capacitor C3 through the resistor R2 This is because a non-uniform current is generated by charging / discharging, which is reduced by an amount corresponding to the voltage clamped by the diode D1 during discharging (that is, charging current> discharging current). The current discharged from the capacitor C3 through the resistor R2 is the terminal voltage V described above. C The negative side offset voltage is generated. As a result, a voltage obtained by adding the negative offset voltage due to the imbalance of the charge / discharge current and the AC voltage due to the charge / discharge current for each period appears between the terminals of the capacitor C3.
[0024]
In order to generate a sufficient imbalance between the charge and discharge currents by the forward voltage of one diode D1, the resistance value of the resistor R2 is increased to some extent to reduce the voltage drop caused by the discharge current flowing through the resistor R2. It is necessary to have a certain size (for example, a voltage value about the Zener voltage of the Zener diode ZD1). Therefore, this offset voltage changes with a delay characteristic determined by the value of the resistor R2 and the value of the capacitor C3. However, since this delay characteristic is not intended for smoothing, it can be suppressed to a very small value as compared with the delay time by the smoothing circuit S10 shown in FIG.
[0025]
When the terminal LA is negative, the capacitor C3 is charged with the polarity shown in FIG. 1 by the negative voltage of the terminal LA. Therefore, the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 C Decreases gradually from the offset voltage value as the capacitor C3 is charged with AC. And terminal voltage V C =-(V ZD1 + V BE (Q1) ) (V here ZD1 Is the Zener voltage of Zener diode ZD1, V BE (Q1) Is the base-emitter-on voltage of the transistor Q1), the base current flows through the transistor Q1, and the collector-emitter of the transistor Q1 is turned on. When the transistor Q1 is turned on, the thyristor SCR1 is ignited. When the thyristor SCR1 is ignited, the terminal LA and the terminal E are short-circuited and no current flows through the
[0026]
On the other hand, when the voltage at the terminal LA is positive, the capacitor C1 is charged by a charging current flowing through the resistor R1 and the diode D1 in the direction shown. In this case, since the charging current flows through the diode D1 without passing through the resistor R2 or the like, the charging voltage of the capacitor C1 changes in a short time compared to the case of the capacitor C3. Therefore, the capacitor C1 is charged with a voltage corresponding to the positive half-wave waveform for each period. The charging voltage of the capacitor C1 is added to the voltage at the terminal LA when the next negative voltage is generated at the terminal LA to form a voltage applied to a circuit composed of other capacitors and the like.
[0027]
For example, when the voltage at the terminal LA is positive, assuming that the positive voltage value of the AC waveform has decreased from a certain steady state at this time, the value of the current flowing through the capacitor C1, the resistor R1, and the diode D1 decreases. To do. That is, at this time, the charging current of the capacitor C1 decreases. As a result, the terminal voltage of the capacitor C1 decreases, so that the voltage value applied to the capacitor C3 when the voltage of the terminal LA becomes negative next time decreases. As a result, the charge amount of the capacitor C3 is reduced, and the magnitude of the negative offset voltage is reduced. As a result, the timing at which the thyristor SCR1 is ignited is delayed, so that the negative voltage applied to the
[0028]
In the above operation, the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 C Changes as a voltage including a value obtained by dividing the AC voltage of the terminal LA by a circuit constant as an AC component. That is, terminal voltage V C Since the engine operates in an alternating current, even if the engine speed changes and the frequency fluctuates, the basic operation described above is not affected, and stable control characteristics can always be obtained by the same operation as described above. it can.
[0029]
Now, with reference to FIG. 3, details of the circuit operation of the embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 will be described. FIG. 3 shows the voltage V between the terminals LA and E in the embodiment according to the invention shown in FIG. LA And the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 C It is a figure which shows the time change of. Voltage V between terminals LA and E LA Is negative, the capacitor C3 is charged with a circuit passing through the resistor R2 and the capacitor C2. Terminal voltage V of capacitor C3 C The rate of change in voltage is the voltage V LA The larger the value, the larger the terminal voltage V C Turns on zener diode ZD1 and transistor Q1-(V ZD1 + V BE (Q1) ) Reaches the voltage V LA The larger the value, the shorter. Terminal voltage V of capacitor C3 C Is-(V ZD1 + V BE (Q1) ), The thyristor SCR1 is turned on and the voltage V LA Is a value determined by the ON voltage of the thyristor SCR1 (in FIG. 3, it is set to 0 V for simplification). At this time, the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 C Is a voltage − (V determined by the Zener diode ZD1 and the base-emitter diode of the transistor Q1. ZD1 + V BE (Q1) (-8.5V in this figure). As shown in FIG. LA When comparing the case where the voltage indicated by the solid line is applied with the case where the voltage indicated by the larger broken line is applied, the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 C When the large voltage indicated by the broken line is applied, the voltage reaches the voltage for turning on the thyristor SCR1 in a shorter time.
[0030]
When the thyristor SCR1 is turned on, the charge charged in the capacitor C3 is discharged by the capacitor C2, and the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 is determined by the voltage determined by the capacitance ratio of the capacitor C3 and the capacitor C2. C The absolute value of decreases. Then, the Zener diode ZD1 and the transistor Q1 are turned off. Thereafter, the charge of the capacitor C3 is discharged through the resistor R2, and the voltage V C The absolute value of gradually decreases.
[0031]
Next, the voltage V LA Becomes positive, the charge of the capacitor C3 is further discharged through the resistor R2, and the voltage V C The absolute value of is further reduced. However, voltage V LA Is positive, the voltage applied to the capacitor C3 is limited by the forward voltage of the diode D1, so the charge of the capacitor C3 is equal to the terminal voltage V LA It is discharged in a substantially constant state regardless of the magnitude of the voltage (in FIG. 3, it is reduced to −6.5 V). Thus, the voltage V LA The discharge amount of the capacitor C3 when is positive is the voltage V LA Regardless of the change in the waveform and the timing at which the thyristor SCR1 is turned on, the value is always substantially constant.
[0032]
As described above, the terminal voltage V of the capacitor C3 C The peak value of the absolute value is constant during charging, and the amount of electric charge discharged during discharging is substantially constant without changing greatly for each waveform, so that there is no significant difference in voltage value before starting charging. . As a result, on / off control of the thyristor SCR1 can be performed almost independently for each waveform.
[0033]
On the other hand, in the conventional circuit as shown in FIG. LA Is smoothed using a smoothing circuit S10 including a capacitor C10 and a resistor R10 having a time constant that is several times the length of one cycle of the AC waveform, and used as a detection voltage. is doing. For this reason, the delay of the smoothing circuit S10 accompanies the voltage detection. 4 shows the terminal voltage V LA Terminal voltage V of capacitor C10 with respect to the change of C1 It shows an example of the time change. In the circuit diagram shown in FIG. 2, the terminal voltage V LA Is applied directly between the capacitor C10 and the base-emitter of the transistor Q10. In this case, a DC voltage having the same magnitude as the voltage applied to the
[0034]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the capacitor C3 that stores the detected voltage performs a charge / discharge operation in conjunction with the input AC voltage at the terminal LA. Further, since the voltage of the capacitor C3 is charged / discharged without using the rectifier circuit and the smoothing circuit is not used, it is possible to control the applied voltage of the
[0035]
In addition, in response to every cycle of the AC waveform, the firing timing of the thyristor SCR1 is adjusted so that the applied voltage of the
[0036]
In addition, since a large change appears in the waveform of the terminal voltage of the capacitor C3 regardless of the number of rotations even at high speeds, stable voltage detection can be performed without malfunction due to noise.
[0037]
Next, the control characteristics of the voltage regulator according to the present invention will be described in combination with a peripheral circuit when actually used in a small motorcycle or the like. FIG. 5 is a circuit diagram more specifically showing the DC electric load 5 shown in FIG. 1 according to an actual circuit. In FIG. 5, 51 is a stop lamp, 52 is a brake switch, 53 is DC-CDI (DC-capacitor discharge igniter), 54 is a boost coil, and 55 is a spark plug. The DC-

Next, it is assumed that at the point (1) at which the engine speed is slightly increased, the waveform of one cycle has increased to a voltage exceeding the control voltage among the four cycles of waveform. However, even in this case, it is assumed that the average value of the effective voltage over the entire four periods does not reach the control voltage. In this regard, in the conventional example, the lamp voltage V L Since the average value of the current does not reach the predetermined control voltage, the conduction rate control is not yet started, and the voltage V is increased as the rotational speed increases. Thus, according to the voltage regulator of the present invention, the voltage having a different waveform is controlled independently for each cycle based on a predetermined control voltage, so that compared to the conventional example in which control is performed with an average value, The potential difference between when the lamp 51 is turned off and when it is turned on becomes small. In the example shown in FIG. 7, the potential difference between when the stop lamp is turned off and when the stop lamp is turned on is 2. Whereas it is about 5V, the voltage difference of the present invention has a maximum potential difference of 2.0V or less. As described above, according to the present invention, the difference in voltage applied to the

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, when a negative output having a polarity opposite to the positive output is generated, the output voltage and the charging voltage of the first charging means charged by the positive output are output. Since the output of the magnet generator is short-circuited according to the voltage of the second charging means charged by the above, there is no need to provide a rectifier circuit or a circuit for smoothing the output, and the response is more correct than in the conventional device. It is possible to control the voltage of a good magnet generator. In addition, since the fluctuation of the control voltage with respect to the load change in the region where the rotation speed is low can be suppressed low, it is possible to suppress the blinking of the headlamp and the like as compared with the conventional case.
[0046]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the second charging means can have a predetermined offset voltage, the short-circuit means for short-circuiting the output of the magnet generator is realized with a simple configuration. It becomes possible.
