Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an antenna device used for a mobile communication base station on land such as a mobile phone and a PHS (simple mobile phone system), and more particularly to a horizontally polarized omnidirectional antenna device in a horizontal plane.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, with respect to this type of antenna device, in recent years, with the increase in the number of users of the mobile phone system and the expansion of the mobile communication service area, in particular, a horizontally polarized horizontal omnidirectional antenna used for a base station. The development of the device was long-awaited.
[0003]
Conventionally, in order to obtain horizontal omnidirectionality by horizontal polarization radiated from an antenna device, two antenna elements 1a and 1b having a figure 8 directivity are orthogonal to each other, and each antenna element is approximately 90 degrees. It is known that it is sufficient to supply power having such a phase difference and synthesize the horizontally polarized waves radiated, and the Sue pattern
[0004]
However, it is difficult to obtain a perfect circular directivity due to the non-uniformity of the element currents fed to the antenna elements 1a and 1b and the influence of the support pillars 2. In fact, as shown in FIG. Even if the deviation in is 3 dB, it is omnidirectional.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in order to use the
The mobile phone is assigned a frequency of 900 MHz band, and the PHS is assigned a frequency of 1.9 GHz band.
In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, the
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and its object is to solve the above problems, to improve the directivity of the conventional antenna device, and to be used in a mobile communication base station. An object of the present invention is to provide an antenna device capable of obtaining omnidirectionality in a horizontal plane.
[0007]
Another object of the present invention is to provide a horizontally polarized omnidirectional antenna device having a small width between both ends of an antenna element, that is, a reduced diameter.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention comprises an elongated slot formed on a metal foil on one side of a dielectric printed circuit board, and the slot in the width direction of the slot on the other side of the printed circuit board. Is an antenna device in which two slot antenna elements each formed of strip lines formed so as to cross each other are arranged so as to be substantially orthogonal to each other, and the detailed configuration thereof is as follows.
[0009]
That is, by supplying power to the two slot antenna elements through the phase shifting means to the one slot antenna element, the power having a phase difference of about 90 degrees with respect to the other slot antenna element. In order to obtain omnidirectionality in the horizontal plane.
[0010]
The phase shifting means supplies electric power having a phase difference of approximately 90 degrees to each of the two slot antenna elements by, for example, a hybrid circuit or a two distributor, thereby making omnidirectionality in a horizontal plane. To be obtained.
[0011]
The strip line is a bowl-shaped element composed of two strip line elements arranged at right angles to each other, and one strip line element is formed so as to cross the slot in a substantially right angle direction, and the other strip line element is formed. The line element is formed in parallel with the long axis of the slot, one end of which is connected to the one end of the strip line element, and the other end forms a feeding end at a position corresponding to the substantially central position of the slot. To do.
[0012]
Furthermore, the horizontally polarized omnidirectional antenna device is arranged in a plurality of stages in the vertical direction.
[0013]
As described above, according to the present invention, two slot antenna elements formed on a dielectric printed circuit board are disposed above and below each of the strip lines crossing the slot via an assembly slit formed in the antenna element. While being arranged, they are arranged so as to be substantially orthogonal to each other and assembled.
[0014]
The assembly slit is formed in a straight line from the center of the slot of the antenna element along the long axis thereof in a direction in which the strip line crossing the slot is not formed. For each of the two antenna elements, after assembling, the metal foil in the portion forming the slot, which is divided by the assembling slit, is connected to each other by a connecting member made of a conductive material. Thus, the slot is completely formed.
[0015]
Then, by supplying electric power having a phase difference of approximately 90 degrees to each of the two slot antenna elements, and synthesizing the directivities, the directivity of the support pillar is reduced. The directivity of the strong conventional antenna device is improved.
In addition, a dielectric substrate having a large relative dielectric constant is employed as the dielectric printed circuit board to reduce the width between both ends of the slot antenna element, that is, to reduce the diameter.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0029]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the horizontally polarized omnidirectional antenna apparatus of the present invention, two slot antenna elements respectively formed on the dielectric printed circuit board are arranged so as to be substantially orthogonal to each other. A power supply having a phase difference of approximately 90 degrees with respect to the other slot radiating element is supplied to each of the two slot antenna elements via the phase shift means; As a result, omnidirectionality can be obtained in the horizontal plane, so that the directionality of the conventional antenna device can be improved and used in a mobile communication base station. As a result, the width between both ends of the antenna element can be reduced, that is, the diameter can be reduced.
[0030]
That is, according to the antenna device of the present invention, there is no directivity deviation in the entire circumferential direction in the horizontal plane of the horizontally polarized wave without being affected by a support pillar such as a steel tower, unlike the antenna device used for broadcasting. The omnidirectionality within 1.5 dB can be improved, and the diameter can be reduced.
The antenna device of the present invention is suitable not only for mobile phones but also for base station antenna devices such as PHS, and can expand the service area.
