Description
【0001】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the intake pulsation pressure is allowed to escape from the intake passage side to the outside, if the intake pulsation pressure permeates through the air
[0006]
Here, the present inventor has found that in order to suppress the transmitted sound, a sound insulating wall that blocks the transmitted sound may be disposed outside the breathable member. However, if the sound insulating wall is manufactured separately from the case, the number of parts increases. For this reason, a manufacturing cost becomes high. In addition, the assembly of the air cleaner is complicated.
[0007]
The air cleaner of the present invention has been completed in view of the above problems. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an air cleaner that can suppress not only the intake sound but also the transmitted sound and has a small number of parts.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(1) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, an air cleaner according to the present invention is an air cleaner comprising a case and an element that partitions the inside of the case into a dirty side and a clean side, and is further provided in the case. A sound-insulating wall portion provided with a communication hole that communicates between the compartment and the outside of the case is formed integrally with the case, and the communication hole is formed on a side wall of the sound-insulating wall portion. It is provided in the part .
[0009]
That is, the air cleaner of the present invention houses the breathable member in the case. Further, the sound insulation wall portion is integrally arranged on the case wall. The compartment is partitioned in the case by being partitioned by a breathable member. That is, in the case, the outside of the compartment and the compartment are partitioned by the air-permeable member. The sound insulation wall is disposed outside the compartment. The sound insulation wall portion has a side wall portion in which a communication hole is formed . The compartment communicates with the outside of the case through the communication hole.
[0010]
The sound pressure flows out of the case from the inside of the case, following the path outside the compartment → the breathable member → the compartment → the sound insulating wall (communication hole) → the outside of the case. In the outflow process, most of the sound pressure transmitted through the air-permeable member collides with a portion other than the communication hole of the sound insulation wall portion, that is, the wall portion. By this collision, the transmitted sound can be suppressed by increasing the acoustic mass through the communication hole without emitting the transmitted sound directly outside the case.
[0011]
According to the air cleaner of the present invention, not only the intake sound but also the transmitted sound can be suppressed. Therefore, it is particularly effective to install the air cleaner of the present invention when the sound insulation of the air cleaner installation site (for example, engine room) is low. The reason is that the air cleaner of the present invention itself has a high sound insulation property and does not depend on the sound insulation property of the air cleaner installation site.
[0012]
Moreover, according to the air cleaner of the present invention, the sound insulating wall is formed integrally with the case. For this reason, compared with the case where the sound insulation wall part is formed separately from the case, the number of parts can be reduced. Therefore, the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Also, the air cleaner can be easily assembled.
[0013]
(2) Preferably, the sound insulation wall is preferably arranged on the dirty side of the case. If the sound insulation wall portion is disposed on the dirty side, even if dust enters the case of the air cleaner through the sound insulation wall portion and the air-permeable member, the element can filter the dust. For this reason, it is easy to suppress dust from entering the downstream side of the clean side of the case.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the air cleaner of the present invention will be described.
[0015]
(1) First Embodiment First, the configuration of an air cleaner according to this embodiment and an intake system incorporating the air cleaner will be described. FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of an intake system of the present embodiment. As shown in the figure, the intake system 1 includes an

Next, the effect of the air cleaner of this embodiment will be described. FIG. 3 shows the frequency distribution of the intake sound when the resonator 4 is not arranged. The frequency distribution was measured by generating white noise from a speaker arranged on the downstream side of the
[0022]
As shown in the figure, in the case of L = 1 mm, the resonance peak E of the low-frequency muffled sound is higher than in the case where only the air-permeable member is provided and the sound insulating wall portion is not provided. Further, in the case of L = 10 mm, the resonance peak E of the low frequency booming noise is almost the same height as compared with the case where only the air-permeable member is provided and the sound insulating wall portion is not provided. From this, it can be seen that the larger the separation width L, the greater the effect of reducing the intake sound.
[0023]
FIG. 4 shows the frequency distribution of the transmitted sound when the resonator 4 is not arranged. The transmitted sound was collected by placing a microphone outside the sound insulation wall. In the figure, the solid line is the frequency distribution of the transmitted sound when there is no breathable member. Also, in the figure, the dotted line is the frequency distribution in the case of having only a breathable member with a wall thickness t = 2 mm and no sound insulation wall. Further, in the figure, the alternate long and short dash line represents the frequency distribution when the sound insulation wall portion has a breathable member having a wall thickness t = 2 mm and is separated from the breathable member by a separation width L = 1 mm. Further, in the figure, the two-dot chain line represents the frequency distribution when the sound insulating wall portion has a breathable member having a wall thickness t = 2 mm and is separated from the breathable member by a separation width L = 10 mm. In addition, about a breathable member, a PET nonwoven fabric raw material surface weight 840g / m < 2 >, PET nonwoven fabric raw material board thickness (before hot pressing) 5mm, PET nonwoven fabric by changing board thickness by hot press molding We decided to change the amount of airflow.
[0024]
As shown in the figure, in the case of L = 1 mm, the resonance peak F of the low-frequency muffled sound is lower by about 5 dB than in the case where only the air permeable member is provided and the sound insulating wall portion is not provided. Also, in the case of L = 10 mm, the resonance peak F of the low frequency booming noise is lower by about 5 dB than in the case where only the air permeable member is provided and the sound insulating wall portion is not provided. However, when looking at the entire frequency distribution, each resonance peak is lower in the case of L = 1 mm than in the case of L = 10 mm. From this, it can be seen that the smaller the separation width L, the greater the effect of lowering the transmitted sound.
[0025]
3 and 4, it can be seen that when the sound insulating wall portion is disposed, an intake air sound lowering effect substantially equivalent to that in the case where only the air-permeable member is disposed without the sound insulating wall portion is obtained. Further, it can be seen that when the sound insulation wall portion is disposed, a large transmitted sound reduction effect can be obtained as compared with the case where only the air-permeable member is disposed without the sound insulation wall portion. It can also be seen that by changing the separation width L, it is possible to balance the intake sound and the transmitted sound.
