BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an information recording medium capable of optically recording or reproducing information, such as a magneto-optical disk, a write-once disk, a phase change disk, and a CD-ROM. The present invention relates to an optical element driving device for driving and controlling an optical element used to form a condensing spot, and an information reproducing apparatus including the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to optically read information from an information recording medium or to record information optically, various devices for driving and controlling optical elements following the movement of the information recording medium have been proposed. Some of these devices are provided with a neutral point holding mechanism for holding the optical element at a stable point when there is no external force component in the focus direction or tracking direction, so-called neutral point.
[0003]
Among such neutral point holding mechanisms, the simplest and cheapest method in structure includes an example using a magnetic attraction force with respect to a magnetic body provided integrally with an optical element.
