Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an endoscope having an air / liquid feeding function.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, an endoscope scope is connected to a light source device. When the scope is connected to the light source device, a light guide provided so as to pass through the scope is optically connected to a light source such as a halogen lamp in the light source device. The light emitted from the light source is guided to the distal end of the scope by the light guide, and irradiated as illumination light forward from the distal end of the scope. The illumination light is reflected by the observation site and enters the image guide via an objective lens provided at the distal end of the scope. The reflected light is guided to the eyepiece of the operation unit by the image guide, and the observation site can be observed through the eyepiece optical system of the eyepiece.
[0003]
The endoscope has an air / liquid feeding function. By appropriately operating the air / liquid feeding button provided on the operation unit, gas or liquid is ejected from the distal end of the scope, and removal of cloudiness adhered to the surface of the observation window that protects the objective lens described above, Air supply to the surface, cleaning of the surface of the observation window, etc. are performed. The liquid fed into the distal end is stored in a liquid feeding tank that is separate from the endoscope. The liquid supply tank is connected to an air / liquid supply tube that passes through the air / liquid supply channel of the insertion portion via the tube. Gas or liquid is fed in via a pump provided in the light source device.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, when using the endoscope, peripheral devices such as a light source device and a liquid feeding tank are required. Therefore, these peripheral devices have to be transported and set together with the endoscope, which has a problem in portability.
[0005]
Further, since the endoscope is a medical instrument that is operated by inserting the insertion portion of the scope into the body of the patient, good operability is required. However, as described above, the endoscope must be connected to the light source device and the liquid supply tank via cables, respectively, and the light source device has a power cable for supplying driving current to the built-in light source and pump. Must be connected to a commercial power supply. That is, a plurality of cables are interlaced, and there is a problem that it is troublesome to operate the endoscope. Furthermore, the light source device is a stationary peripheral device and cannot be freely moved in accordance with the operation of the scope, while the power cable is connected to a commercial power outlet provided at a predetermined position in the medical field. Therefore, the operation of the endoscope must be constrained by the location of the medical site where it is actually used. Thus, the conventional endoscope is not satisfactory in terms of operability.
[0006]
The present invention solves the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide an endoscope excellent in operability and portability.
[0007]

The operation portion is provided symmetrically about the longitudinal axis.
[0008]
Preferably, the operation part has a grip part gripped by an operator, a connection part for connecting the grip part and the insertion part, the liquid supply tank and the pump are fixed to the connection part, and the power supply means is the grip part. And attached to extend in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
[0009]
In addition, the portable endoscope according to the present invention includes a semiconductor light emitting element provided at the distal end portion for irradiating illumination light in front of the distal end portion of the insertion portion of the scope, and a pump for feeding gas and liquid into the distal end portion. A power supply means for supplying a drive current to the semiconductor light emitting element and the pump, and a liquid supply tank in which liquid is stored, the power supply means being detachably attached to the operation unit, and the liquid supply tank and the pump are The scope is provided on the opposite side across the longitudinal axis of the operation unit.
[0010]
As described above, according to the present invention, when the relatively heavy liquid feeding tank and the pump are disposed in the operation unit of the scope, the balance of the operation unit of the scope is provided symmetrically about the longitudinal axis of the operation unit. Is preserved. Therefore, the operator can stably perform the procedure while holding the operation unit, and the operability of the scope in which peripheral devices such as a liquid feeding tank and a pump are attached to the operation unit is improved.
[0011]
In addition, by fixing the liquid supply tank and pump to the connecting part that connects the gripping part and the insertion part of the scope, when operating the scope, the part containing these liquid supply tank and pump is more than the hand of the operator.
