従来の接続方法は、部材の端部に溶接用の端板、継手金物を別途設ける必要があり、コストがかかり、製造面でも面倒であった。
本発明は、接続部材に種々の工作を必要とせずにPC鋼線のみで接続を簡単に、かつ、確実におこなえる方法を提案するものである。
また、場所打杭の杭頭と上部構造物を接続するには予め鉄筋をかなりの長さ定着させて杭頭から露出させておく必要があり、鉄筋が突出物として露出しており、作業上障害となっていた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、PC鋼線をUターンしてU字状にしたものを部材内に埋設し、グラウトによって固定するだけで必要な定着力が得られるということに着目し、これを部材の接続に応用するものであり、部材の中空部に、PC鋼線をU字状として部材端部に設置し、グラウト等を充填してPC鋼線を中空部に定着し、このPC鋼線を接続すべき相手の部材に適宜の方法で定着して接続する方法である。
地中に設置された既成杭を接続する場合には、中空部に仕切り板を設置し、その中にU字状のPC鋼線を設置してグラウトを注入して固定する。
場所打杭の場合には、杭頭部に中空部を設け、この中空部を利用してU字状のPC鋼線を設置し、上部構造物を接続できるようにする。また、予め鉄筋籠にU字状としたPC鋼線を組み付けておくことも可能である。

既成杭10の中空部の頭部より深さ80cmの所に支持板2を設置する。支持板2は適宜の手段によって必要な位置に固定するものである。支持板2の上にはアンボンドPC鋼より線(以下、PC鋼線)1を設置する治具22を置く。
