従来の攪拌乾燥装置は、特公平4―51756号公報に開示されている如く、回転可能に支持された回転筒内に複数の枝管を突設した加熱空気送管を回転筒の軸線方向に延設してあり、前記回転筒の一端部には塵芥を投入する材料送込管と乾燥処理された塵芥を排出する排出口を設けてある。これにより材料送込管から回転筒内に塵芥を投入し回転筒を回転させると、塵芥が回転筒とともに移動して枝管により攪拌されるとともに、枝管から熱風を吹き出すことにより塵芥を乾燥するようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが前記構造にあっては、回転筒内の塵芥の大部分は回転筒内で周方向に移動するだけで排出口側へ移動させて排出することができないという問題がある。これを解決する一般的な方法として、回転筒の内周に螺旋状のブレードを設け、回転筒の回転に伴って前記ブレードを回転させることにより回転筒内の有機物を排出口側へ移動させて排出する方法が考えられる。

しかし前記ブレードを設けた場合、枝管をブレードと干渉しないように短くする必要があるが、枝管を短くすると隣り合うブレード間に滞留した塵芥を攪拌することができなくなり攪拌効率が低下するという問題が生じる。そこで本発明は、塵芥の攪拌効率を低下させることなく、排出作業を迅速に行うことができる攪拌乾燥装置を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、前後に投入口と排出口を有する回転ドラムを回転可能に支持し、前記回転ドラム内には回転ドラムの回転にて塵芥を攪拌しうる攪拌部材を中空保持し、前記回転ドラム内に熱風を供給することにより塵芥を乾燥処理させるようにした攪拌乾燥装置において、前記回転ドラムの内周面には塵芥を移動させるとともに前記排出口から排出させうる螺旋状のブレードを設け、前記ブレードには前記攪拌部材との交差箇所に攪拌部材を通過させうる通過部を形成し、攪拌部材が通過部を通過する際、攪拌部材とブレードとにより塵芥を切断することを特徴とするものである。これにより回転ドラム内の攪拌効率を低下させることなく、塵芥の排出移動を確実に行うことができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図1乃至図3において1は塵芥2を乾燥処理する攪拌乾燥装置で、該攪拌乾燥装置1は架台3上に軸支された前後左右のローラ4、4にて回転ドラム5を回転可能に支持してあり、適宜駆動手段(図示せず)により回転ドラム5を周方向(図2時計方向)に回転させうるようになっている。

前記架台3上には前壁6および後壁7とを立設し、回転ドラム5の前端部および後端部を閉止してあり、前壁6にはスクリュコンベアからなる投入口8を設け、後壁7には排出口9を設けてある。前記前壁6には、回転ドラム5内にてその回転中心より斜め上方位置に配置された熱風供給管10の一端部を支持しており、前記熱風供給管10に設けられた複数の吹付管11より回転ドラム5内に熱風を吹き付けて回転ドラム5内の塵芥2を乾燥処理するようになっている。

また前記前壁6には、回転ドラム5内にてその略回転中心線上に配置されたロッド12の一端部を固定してあり、前記ロッド12には回転ドラム5内周面近くまで延び、回転ドラム5内の塵芥2を攪拌させる平板状の攪拌部材13が適宜所定間隔をもうけて垂下固定されている。これにて回転ドラム5の回転に伴って周方向に移動する塵芥2が前記攪拌部材13にて攪拌されることにより、塵芥2の乾燥効率を高めるようになっている。

前記回転ドラム5の内周には螺旋状のブレード14を設けてあり、回転ドラム5の回転にて隣り合うブレード14間に嵌り込んだ塵芥2を順次排出口9側(図1右側)へ移動させるようになっている。前記ブレード14には、回転ドラム5の回転にて各攪拌部材13と交差する箇所に通過部である切欠溝15を形成してあり、回転ドラム5の回転中にブレード14間の塵芥2を攪拌させる攪拌部材13の先部が前記切欠溝15を通過してブレード14と干渉するのを防止するようになっている。

尚、本実施の形態では攪拌部材13をロッド12に固定してあるが、熱風供給管10に固定するようにしても同様の作用効果を有するものである。また本実施の形態では攪拌部材13を平板状に形成してあるが、棒状に形成するようにしても良い。さらに本実施の形態では通過部としてブレード14に切欠溝15を設けてあるが、ブレード14を切断して隙間を設け、この隙間を攪拌部材13が通過するようにしても同様の作用効果を有するものである。

以上の如く本発明は、攪拌部材を中空保持してなる回転ドラム内に、塵芥を移動排出させうる螺旋状のブレードを設け、前記ブレードには攪拌部材との交差箇所に攪拌部材を通過させる通過部を形成するようにしたので、隣り合うブレード間に嵌り込んだ塵芥を攪拌部材にて攪拌することができ、塵芥の攪拌効率を低下させることなく塵芥の乾燥及び排出移動を迅速に行うことができる。また攪拌部材が通過部を通過する際、攪拌部材とブレードとにより塵芥を切断するようになっているため、さらに乾燥効率を高めることができる。
