Description
【0001】
Tm=Kt・Im−Jm・θm’’−Cm・θm’±Tf

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a steer-by-wire device for a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A steer-by-wire device for a vehicle is different from a general steering device as shown in FIG. 11A in which an operation device (steering wheel) and a steered wheel (tire) that are steered by a driver are mechanically connected. As shown in FIG. 11 (b), the operation device such as a joystick or a steering wheel that the driver instructs to steer and the tire are not mechanically connected but separated from each other.
This steer-by-wire device also has a tire cut-off according to the steering angle of the operating device (depending on the amount of operation of the joystick, etc.) so that the same steering feeling as a general mechanically connected steering device can be obtained. The angle is proportionally controlled (position control). Therefore, the steer-by-wire device includes an operation amount sensor (steering operation amount sensor) that detects an operation amount of an operation device such as a joystick, and a control device that controls a tire turning angle according to a detection value of the operation amount sensor. have. In addition, a steering amount sensor (for example, a rack position sensor) that detects a tire turning angle as a control amount is provided.
[0003]
By the way, as described above, in the steer-by-wire device, the operating device to which the driver gives a steering instruction and the tire are not mechanically connected (see FIG. 11B). For this reason, in order to prevent the steer-by-wire device from becoming completely steering-free when the system fails, the operation amount sensor (steering operation amount sensor) is duplicated or the operation amount sensor is backed up by the operation torque sensor. It is. In addition, the steering amount sensor (rack position sensor) that detects the turning angle (rack position) of the tire, which is the control amount, is also duplicated to ensure reliability by redundancy. By the way, these duplex sensors are also divided into main control and backup control.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, a sensor that detects a control amount such as a rack position is generally required to have a fairly high accuracy including a backup amount. For this reason, there exists a problem that the cost of a steer-by-wire apparatus rises. In addition, as a fail-safe measure, it is necessary to take measures to reliably back up the system failure from all aspects to improve the reliability of the vehicle steer-by-wire device.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, it is a main object of the present invention to improve the reliability of a steer-by-wire device for a vehicle and to suppress an increase in cost.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of the above problems, the present inventors have conducted intensive research and, in normal times, determine the tire turning angle (rack position) in proportion to the amount of operation of the joystick, but sensors that detect the control amount (rack position sensor, etc.) If a failure occurs, the corresponding control (proportional control) of the operation amount-control amount is terminated, and instead the control (control control / proportional control) of the operation amount-steering actuator output (rack axial force) is switched. The present invention has been completed by paying attention to solving the above-mentioned problems.
[0007]
That is, the steer-by-wire device for a vehicle according to the present invention that has solved the above-described problems is an operation device provided in the vicinity of a driver's seat, an operation amount detector that detects an operation amount of the operation device, and a steered wheel of the vehicle. A steered steering actuator, a steered amount detector for detecting the steered amount of steered wheels, and a control means for controlling the steered actuator so that the steered amount of steered wheels corresponds to the manipulated variable of the operating device A steer-by-wire device for a vehicle comprising: an output detector for detecting an output of the steered actuator; wherein the control means determines that the steered actuator has an abnormality when the steered amount detector is abnormal. The configuration is such that the output is controlled so as to correspond.
[0008]
In this configuration, the control means normally controls the actuator so that the steering amount of the steering device corresponds to the steering amount of the steering device. On the other hand, when the abnormality of the steering amount detector (steering amount sensor) for detecting the steering amount is determined, the control means performs control so that the output of the actuator corresponds to the operation amount of the operating device. That is, the operation amount-steering amount correspondence control is discontinued, and instead the operation amount-actuator output control is switched. For this reason, the backup at the time of system failure is surely performed. Incidentally, a detector (sensor) that detects the output of the actuator is less expensive than a rack position sensor that detects the amount of steering.
[0009]
A steer-by-wire device for a vehicle according to the present invention (Claim 2) is the current detector in which the output detector for detecting the output of the steering actuator detects the current flowing through the steering actuator in the configuration of Claim 1. It is characterized by being.
[0010]
Sensors for detecting the current of the steering actuator are inexpensive and are mostly provided originally for feedback control and failure diagnosis of the steering actuator. The current flowing through the steering actuator is proportional to the output of the actuator.
[0011]
Further, the vehicle steer-by-wire device according to the present invention (Claim 3) is provided with a current detector and a voltage detector for detecting a current flowing through the steering actuator and an applied voltage in the configuration of Claim 1, and the detection. The output of the steered actuator is estimated based on the current and voltage.
[0012]
According to this configuration, it is possible to estimate an accurate output of the steering actuator.
[0013]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a steer-by-wire device for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention (abbreviated as a steer-by-wire device as appropriate) will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
The steer-by-wire device of this embodiment has a joystick that is an operation device operated by a driver, and drives a brake actuator, a throttle actuator, and a steering actuator (steering motor) based on the operation amount to drive the vehicle. That is, this is a vehicle steering device that performs acceleration / deceleration and steering of the vehicle by steer-by-wire. Further, the steer-by-wire device of the present embodiment has a rack position sensor as a sensor for detecting the turning angle (control amount) of the steered wheels, and the joystick operation amount and the steered wheel steered angle are normally used. Is proportionally controlled (position control). When the rack position sensor is abnormal, control (backup control) is performed so that the output of the steering motor corresponds to the operation amount of the joystick.

[Brake control unit]
The configuration of the brake control unit 4A in the control device 4 will be described (see FIG. 5).
The brake control unit 4A performs control to cause the brake fluid pressure to act on the wheel cylinder according to the operation amount of the acceleration / deceleration operation of the joystick 1 by the driver.

A configuration of the throttle control unit 4C in the control device 4 will be described (see FIG. 5).

(Steering control unit)
The structure of the steering control part 4E in the control apparatus 4 is demonstrated (refer FIG. 6).
The steered control unit 4E performs control to steer the steered wheels W and W according to the operation amount of the steering operation of the joystick 1 by the driver. The steering control unit 4E controls the position of the steering motor (proportional control) so that the steering amount (rack position) of the steered wheels W and W corresponds to the operation amount of the joystick 1 during normal control, and backup is performed. [Brake operation reaction force control unit]
A configuration of the brake operation reaction force control unit 4B in the control device 4 will be described (see FIG. 5).
The brake operation reaction force control unit 4B actively drives the acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor 9 when the driver performs an operation of tilting the joystick 1 backward, that is, when an operation of applying a brake is performed. Control is performed to apply a brake operation reaction force to the joystick 1.
[0058]
The brake operation reaction force control unit 4B includes a target brake operation reaction force setting unit 411, an acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor control
[0059]
A target brake operation reaction force setting unit 411 inputs an output of the acceleration / deceleration
[0060]
The acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor control
[0061]
The acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor 9 is driven by the drive signal generated by the acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor drive circuit 414 based on the control signal.
[0062]
Therefore, when the driver performs a brake operation with the joystick 1, a brake operation reaction force is applied to the joystick 1.
[0063]
[Throttle operation reaction force control unit]
A configuration of the throttle operation reaction force control unit 4D in the control device 4 will be described (see FIG. 5).
The throttle operation reaction force control unit 4D drives the acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor when the driver performs an operation of tilting the joystick 1 forward, that is, when an operation of increasing the output of the prime mover (engine) is performed. Thus, a control to actively apply a throttle operation reaction force to the joystick 1 is performed.
[0064]
The throttle operation reaction force control unit 4D includes a target throttle operation reaction force setting unit 412, an acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor control
[0065]
The target throttle reaction force setting unit 412 inputs the output of the acceleration / deceleration
[0066]
The direction of the throttle operation reaction force applied to the joystick 1 is opposite to that of the brake operation reaction force. That is, the target throttle operation reaction force and the target brake operation reaction force have opposite polarities.
[0067]
The acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor control
[0068]
The acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor 9 is driven by the drive signal generated by the acceleration / deceleration operation reaction force motor drive circuit 414 based on the control signal.
[0069]
Therefore, when the driver performs an operation of increasing the output of the prime mover with the joystick 1, a throttle operation reaction force is applied to the joystick 1.
[0070]
(Steering operation reaction force control part)
The structure of the steering operation reaction force control part 4F in the control apparatus 4 is demonstrated (refer FIG. 6).
The steered operation reaction force control unit 4F drives the steered operation

The turning operation reaction force control unit 4F includes a target turning operation reaction

The target turning operation reaction
Note that the steering reaction reaction force applied to the joystick 1 is opposite in polarity to the target steering reaction force in the right steering operation amount and the target steering reaction force in the left steering operation amount.

[0075]
Therefore, when the driver performs an operation to increase the right turning amount and the left turning amount with the joystick 1, a turning operation reaction force is applied to the joystick 1.
[0076]
[Operation of steering control unit]
Next, in the steer-by-wire apparatus A having the above-described configuration, the operation related to the turning control unit 4E, which is the main part of the present invention, is performed during normal control when the

Incidentally, since the position control is performed during the normal control, the steering motor 5 stops when the actual rack position matches the target rack position.
[0081]
Therefore, the rack position moves to the left according to the amount (angle) by which the driver tilts the joystick 1 to the right. Accordingly, the steered wheels W and W are steered to the right according to the amount of the driver tilting the joystick 1 to the right. That is, proportional control (position control) between the steering operation amount (steering operation amount) and the rack position is performed.
[0082]
(During backup control)
By the way, for example, it is assumed that the

Incidentally, since the rack axial force is controlled during the backup control, the steering motor 5 is driven so that the actual rack axial force coincides with the target rack axial force. In other words, even if the actual rack axial force matches the target rack axial force, the steering motor 5 does not stop. In this respect, the backup control is different from the normal control for controlling the rack position.
The deviation related to the rack position during normal control is not output to the subsequent stage by the control switching unit 436 (not used for control).
[0084]
During this backup control, when the joystick 1 is tilted to the right, the steering motor 5 is driven so that a rack axial force corresponding to the tilted amount (angle) is generated. That is, due to the failure of the
[0085]
Note that the speed at which the steered wheels W are steered during backup control varies depending on the angle at which the joystick 1 is tilted. For example, when the angle at which the joystick 1 is tilted is small, the steered wheels W and W are steered slowly. Conversely, when the angle at which the joystick 1 is tilted is large, the steered wheels W and W are steered quickly. Further, the steered amount of the steered wheels W, W is proportional to the angle at which the joystick 1 is tilted and the tilting time. Note that the speed (steering amount) at which the steered wheels W and W are steered is also influenced by road reaction force and the like.
[0086]
Further, at the time of backup control (especially when the vehicle is stopped or at the time of backup control at a low vehicle speed range), the steered wheels W, W are steered to the right by tilting the joystick 1 to the right, and then the steered wheels W, W To return to the neutral position, the driver tilts the joystick 1 in the reverse direction from the neutral position to generate a rack axial force in the reverse direction. Similarly, when the joystick 1 is tilted to the left and the steered wheels W and W are steered to the left, the driver tilts the joystick 1 to the opposite side in order to return the steered wheels W and W to the neutral position. Perform the operation.
Incidentally, when the vehicle is stopped or while traveling except in the low vehicle speed range, the self-aligning torque for returning the steered wheels W and W to the neutral position acts on the

In addition, the control flowchart (part which concerns on a software structure) of the steering control part 4E shown in FIG. 6 becomes a thing as shown in FIG. In this control flowchart, the deviation relating to the rack position used during normal control is calculated in S11 and S12. On the other hand, in S13 and S14, a deviation related to the rack axial force used during the backup control is calculated. Then, a failure diagnosis is performed in S15, and a branch process based on the result of the failure diagnosis is performed in S16. When there is no failure (YES, during normal control), that is, when the

Further, by providing a voltage sensor in addition to the current sensor to detect the current value and voltage value of the steering motor 5, the rack axial force can be estimated, and the rack
[0090]
In the case of the steer-by-wire apparatus A (see FIG. 1) described above, the actual rack axial force Frc is the rack axial force Fm applied from the steering motor 5 to the rack shaft 18 (Frc = Fm).
The rack axial force Fm from the steering motor 5 is represented by Fm = N · Tm, which is a value obtained by multiplying the output shaft torque Tm of the steering motor 5 by the motor output gear ratio N.
[0091]
Among these, the output shaft torque Tm of the steering motor 5 is calculated | required by following Formula.
Tm = Kt · Im−Jm · θm ″ −Cm · θm ′ ± Tf
Where Kt is the motor torque constant,
Im is the motor current,
Jm is the moment of inertia of motor rotating part (design value / constant),
θm ′ is the motor angular velocity,
θm '' is the motor angular acceleration,
Cm is the motor viscosity coefficient,
Tf is a friction torque.
[0092]
The motor angular velocity θm ′ of the steering motor 5 is obtained from the motor back electromotive force by the following equation.
θm ′ = (Vm−Im · Rm) / Km
Where Vm is the motor voltage,
Rm is motor resistance (design value / constant),
Km is an induced voltage constant of the motor.
[0093]
In addition, the structure which calculates | requires this rack axial force may be provided in the exterior of the steering control part 4E (outside of the control means 4), and may be provided in the steering control part 4E (inside of the control means 4). In the case of the configuration provided in the turning control unit 4E, the current sensor for detecting the current and voltage of the steering motor 5 and the output of the voltage sensor are input, and the rack axial force (actual rack axial force) is calculated based on the above-described equations. A software configuration (program) to be calculated is configured in the turning control unit 4E.
[0094]
In this way, a more accurate rack axial force can be detected (estimated) with an inexpensive current sensor and voltage sensor.
[0095]
The present invention can be widely modified without being limited to the above-described embodiments.
For example, when the failure diagnosis unit 435 (see FIG. 6) detects a failure, an alarm may be issued to notify the driver that the control has been switched (using a failure signal). The alarm may be a buzzer or the like, or may be sent as a voice message by synthesizing a previously stored document.
Further, the operation directions of the brake and the throttle may be reversed. That is, the brake may be effective when the joystick 1 (see FIG. 1) is tilted forward. Further, the means and method for failure diagnosis of the rack position sensor 10 (see FIG. 1) are not limited. Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the backup control is feedback control, but may be open control.
[0096]
Further, the reaction force may be increased as the vehicle speed increases by adding the vehicle speed to the steering operation reaction force control. In this case, a vehicle speed sensor is provided, the vehicle speed is input to the target steering operation reaction force setting unit 441 (see FIG. 6), and the steering operation reaction force map is taken into consideration of the vehicle speed (the higher the vehicle speed, the more Use a steering operation reaction force map that increases the force). In this case, even if the output of the steering operation sensor having the same value is input, the steering operation reaction force increases as the vehicle speed increases (the high-speed stability of the vehicle tends to improve).
[0097]
Similarly, the steering feeling may be “dull” as the vehicle speed increases by adding the vehicle speed to the steering control. In this case, a vehicle speed sensor is provided, the vehicle speed is input to the target rack position setting unit 431 (see FIG. 6), and the steering map for normal control is added to the vehicle speed (the higher the vehicle speed, the higher the target rack Use a steering map that minimizes changes in position.) In addition, the vehicle speed is input to the target rack axial force setting unit 433 (see FIG. 6), and the steering map for backup control takes into account the vehicle speed (the target rack axial force decreases as the vehicle speed increases). A steering map like this). In this way, even if the operation amount (tilt amount) of the joystick 1 is the same, the movement of the rack shaft 18 (see FIG. 1) becomes smaller as the vehicle speed increases. In other words, the steering feeling becomes “dull” at high vehicle speeds and the high-speed stability of the vehicle tends to improve. At low vehicle speeds, the steering feeling becomes “quick” and steering becomes sharp Tend to be able to.
[0098]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention described above has the following excellent effects.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, when it is determined that the steering amount detector (rack axial force sensor) is abnormal, it is possible to perform backup reliably. Therefore, the reliability of the vehicle steer-by-wire device can be improved. Also, backup control can be performed without duplicating the turning amount detector. For this reason, the cost of the steer-by-wire device for the vehicle can be reduced.
[0099]
According to the second and third aspects of the invention, since the backup control can be reliably performed, the reliability of the steer-by-wire device of the vehicle is improved and the cost of the configuration for performing the backup can be suppressed. .
