Description
【0001】

[Field of the Invention]
The present invention relates to a butterfly valve having a rubber seat ring mounted on the inner peripheral surface of a valve body, and more particularly to an improved mounting structure for a rubber seat ring.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a rubber seat ring has been provided on the inner peripheral surface of a valve main body penetrating a cylindrical fluid passage, and the outer peripheral surface of a disc-shaped valve body that is rotatably supported from the outside in the valve main body. A butterfly valve which opens and closes a fluid passage by being brought into contact with and separated from the inner peripheral surface of the rubber seat ring is well known and widely used for controlling various fluids.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 1, the rubber seat ring (3) is adhered to cover the inner peripheral surface (1a) and the flange connection surface (1b) of the valve body (1), as shown in FIG. Various forces are acting. That is, the compressive force from the pipe flange (4) (arrow 7), the force due to the internal fluid pressure and flow velocity flowing through the valve body (arrow 6), or the force applied by the pressure contact with the rotating valve body (arrow 5) ) Etc. The rubber seat ring receives these forces to generate a force for moving the seat ring. However, since the rubber seat ring is bonded to the valve body, a shearing stress is applied to the bonding surface. As shown in FIG. 3, this shear stress becomes maximum at the corner portion (11), which is the intersection of the valve body inner peripheral surface and the flange connection surface, where the shape change is large.
[0004]
Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Nos. 59-17459 and 8-326930 disclose a structure in which a gap is provided between a rubber seat ring and a valve body to relieve stress acting on the inside of the rubber seat ring. Proposed. However, in these structures, since the seal surface pressure generated by the compression with the pipe flange is lowered, there is a problem that the seal performance is lowered.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention is intended to prevent the seat ring from being damaged by reducing the shear stress at the corner of the valve body having a large shape change without reducing the seal surface pressure.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention employs a rubber seat ring disposed on the inner peripheral surface of a valve main body penetrating a cylindrical fluid passage so that the valve main body can be driven and rotated from the outside. In a butterfly valve in which a fluid passage is opened and closed by bringing the outer peripheral surface of a disc-shaped valve body pivotally supported on the inner surface of the rubber seat ring into and out of contact with the inner peripheral surface of the rubber seat ring. The rubber seat ring that covers and adheres to the valve body has a structure that does not adhere to the valve body at a portion corresponding to the inner peripheral surface of the valve body having a large shape change and the corner of the flange connection portion.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. Referring to the drawings, (1) is a valve body of a butterfly valve, and a cylindrical fluid passage (10) is provided therethrough. (2) is a disc-like valve body rotatably supported in the fluid passage of the valve body (1), and is driven and rotated by a desired actuator from the outside of the valve body. (3) is an annular rubber seat ring disposed to cover the inner peripheral surface (1a) and the flange connection surface (1b) of the valve body. The seat ring (3) is in contact with and separated from the outer peripheral surface of the valve body (2) to constitute a valve seat seal portion that enables opening and closing of the fluid passage.
[0009]
The rubber seat ring (3) that covers and adheres to the inner peripheral surface (1a) and the flange connection surface (1b) of the valve body (1) has a compressive force from the piping flange (4) as shown in FIG. Forces such as (arrow 7), force due to internal fluid pressure and flow velocity flowing through the valve body (arrow 6), or force loaded by pressure contact with the rotating valve body (arrow 5) are acting. The rubber seat ring receives these forces to generate a force for moving the rubber sheet, and is bonded to the valve body, so that a shear stress is applied. As shown in FIG. 3, this shear stress is maximum at the corner (11), which is the intersection of the inner peripheral surface of the valve main body and the flange connection surface, which has a large shape change.
[0010]
Therefore, the present invention provides a rubber seat ring bonded to the valve body (1) at the corner (11) of the valve body which is easily damaged as a result of the force of the
[0011]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the shear stress acting on the rubber sheet ring can be converted and absorbed into the compressive tensile stress of rubber, and the partial concentrated shear stress acting on the corner can be dispersed and reduced.
