【0059】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a screw lead measuring method and apparatus for measuring an error of a screw lead of a parallel male screw and a female screw such as a metric screw, a unified screw, a trapezoidal screw, and a ball screw.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, screw leads are measured by the following method.
A Measurement of male thread
a) A method of measuring a shadow pitch using a measuring microscope or a projector.
b) A method of judging by stopping as per the thread ring gauge.
c) A method of measuring the displacement of the nut using a dedicated measuring instrument in combination with a nut (female thread) (in the case of a ball screw).
B Measurement of female thread
d) A method of judging by stopping as per thread plug gauge.
e) A method of measuring the displacement of a nut (female screw) in combination with a male screw with a dedicated measuring instrument (in the case of a ball screw).
[0003]
Among such screw lead measurement methods, the method a) can measure only two screw leads that face each other in the projected angle, that is, the radial direction of the external thread, and grasps the overall three-dimensional shape. Was impossible. Further, the methods b) and d) are methods that can only determine pass / fail and cannot quantify screw leads. Furthermore, since the methods c) and e) are accurate in a state where the male screw and the female screw are combined, the screw lead of the male screw or the female screw alone cannot be measured. Moreover, the measuring apparatus was very expensive.
[0004]
Therefore,

Claim12The screw lead measuring device according to claim4-11In the invention according to any one of the above, the axial movement portion is characterized in that the position of the stylus mounting portion can be adjusted by an XY table.
[0022]
[Action]
According to the measurement method of the screw lead of the present invention configured as described above, the stylus is rotated around the axis of the screw, andConnect the balance weight directly or indirectly to the stylus and move the stylus in the axial direction by the weight of the balance weight.Since the amount of movement of the stylus in the rotational direction and the amount of movement in the axial direction are measured, the screw lead can be measured in three dimensions.Further, the stylus can be moved so as to accurately follow the thread groove, and the measurement accuracy can be improved also in this respect. Furthermore, since the contact pressure with which the stylus comes into contact with the screw groove can be adjusted by the weight of the balance weight, it is possible to prevent the impression of the stylus from coming into contact with the screw groove by appropriately setting the weight of the balance weight. .
In particular, since the stylus is rotated around the axis of the screw, it is not necessary to rotate these large members even if they are formed on large and heavy members such as cylinder blocks and connecting rods. The screw lead can be measured. Further, since the stylus is rotated while being in contact with the screw groove and moved in the axial direction according to the screw groove, the screw lead can be measured without providing a movement control mechanism in the axial direction of the stylus. .
[0023]
Note that the measurement of the screw lead can be applied to either a female screw or a male screw, and in the female screw, a stylus can be installed in the screw hole and can be made to contact the screw groove. Further, in the external thread, a stylus can be installed on the outer peripheral side of the screw and can be inwardly brought into contact with the thread groove. Therefore, by making the stylus replaceable, it is possible to measure both female and male threads with a single device. Further, it is possible to easily cope with measurement of screws of different sizes by replacing the stylus.
[0024]
Further, if the movement of the stylus in the rotational direction and the movement in the axial direction are performed by a moving mechanism having a non-contact support portion as in
[0026]
And claims4-12According to the screw lead measuring device of the present invention described above, the excellent method for measuring a screw lead of the present invention as described above can be carried out.
By making the stylus attachable / detachable to / from the stylus mounting portion or replacing each stylus mounting portion, it is possible to easily measure screws of different sizes using styluses having different shapes. The stylus mounting portion is usually formed in a shaft shape, and can be inserted into a screw hole when measuring a female screw. Further, when measuring the external thread, it is possible to assume that the external thread is positioned in the cylindrical hole and the stylus mounting portion is positioned in the periphery of the cylindrical shape. However, according to the present invention, the shape of the stylus mounting portion is not limited to the above, and it suffices if the stylus can move along the thread groove by transmitting the rotation to the stylus.
[0027]
In addition, when making a stylus attachment part cylindrical, a stylus can be provided toward the inner side in a stylus attachment part inner surface. With this configuration, the rigidity of the stylus in all directions can be improved. In the present invention, when measuring a bolt (male thread), the lead measuring stylus is rotated along the outer periphery of the bolt. At this time, if the length of the bolt is long, the moving distance of the stylus inevitably increases, and a moment load acts on the stylus due to the sliding resistance of the portion in contact with the thread at the tip of the stylus. For this reason, the stylus always traces the thread while receiving the force in the measuring direction. When the bolt is long, the distance between the stylus fixing part and the contact part (measurement part) of the screw thread becomes long, and the elastic deformation of the stylus due to sliding resistance directly leads to the measurement error. Such a problem can be solved by using a cylindrical stylus fitting as described above. Measurement accuracy is improved by the above.
In particular, for the deformation that breaks the stylus itself, the moment of inertia of the cross section is remarkably improved, so the effect on the measurement error is drastically reduced.
[0028]
Further, the driving force for rotating the stylus is claimed.5If it is assumed to be transmitted by magnetic coupling as described in, it is possible to transmit the driving force in a non-contact manner, preventing vibrations from the driving means from being transmitted to the stylus and reducing the measurement accuracy, As a result, the measurement accuracy is further improved.
[0029]
Further claim the balance weight11If it is possible to move up and down with a non-contact guide as described in 1), it is possible to prevent a decrease in measurement accuracy due to rolling of the balance weight and the like, and as a result, the measurement accuracy is further improved. In addition, the non-contact balance weight part guided non-contactingly by the said guide has what has a non-contact air bearing, for example.
[0030]
Furthermore, in the device of the present invention, the claim12As described above, when the position of the stylus shaft can be adjusted by the XY table in the axial direction moving part, the adjustment for matching the screw axis and the central axis of the stylus shaft can be easily performed, and the device can be easily measured. .

However, depending on the installation location of the magnetic portion on the stylus shaft, the magnetic portion It is also possible to provide a magnetic part opposite to the pulley part other than the pulley part. In short, the installation location is not limited as long as it is rotated by the drive means such as a drive motor.
[0054]
Next, in the above-described embodiment, measurement is performed while the stylus moves up and down. At this time, the weight of the member including the stylus is weighted by the
[0055]
Since lead measurement is high-precision measurement, high-speed axis movement is not performed, so the measurement time is relatively long, at least 1 minute. Therefore, if the balance weight fluctuates during measurement, there is a problem that directly leads to measurement error.
Such lateral movement of the balance weight can be restricted by sliding the balance weight while supporting it with a guide. However, in this method, since there is a sliding resistance, there is a possibility that vibration is generated in the weight and transmitted to the stylus, which is not suitable for a lead measuring machine that requires fine feed.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the stylus brought into contact with the thread groove isRotate around the axis of the screw to be measured and move in the axial direction according to the screw groove by the weight of the balance weight, and measure the amount of movement of the stylus in the rotational direction and the amount of movement in the axial directionAs a result, it is possible to easily and accurately measure screw lead errors with both male and female threads. Further, since the stylus is moved in the axial direction according to the thread groove, it is only necessary to provide the stylus with a rotational drive system, and the measuring apparatus can be configured simply.
