Description
【0001】
V=am・T+bm
V=as・T+bs
Vs=(as/am)・Vm−(as/am)・bm+bs
−V0≦(as/am)・Vm−Vs−(as/am)・bm+bs≦V0
−V0>(as/am)・Vm−Vs−(as/am)・bm+bs
及び
(as/am)・Vm−Vs−(as/am)・bm+bs<V0
V=fm(T)=am・T+bm
am=(Vm1−Vm2)/(Tm1−Tm2)
bm=Vm0
V=fs(T)=as・T+bs
ただし、as=(Vs1−Vs2)/(Ts1−Ts2)
bs=Vs0

As shown in FIG. 8, the

On the other hand, the
V = as · T + bs
It is assumed that it has a characteristic approximated by a linear expression of
[0006]
In this case, when torque is input from the
Vs = (as / am) · Vm− (as / am) · bm + bs
The relationship will occur.
Therefore, ideally,
−V 0 ≦ (as / am) · Vm−Vs− (as / am) · bm + bs ≦ V 0
, That is, the range H in FIG.
−V 0 > (as / am) · Vm−Vs− (as / am) · bm + bs
as well as
(as / am) · Vm−Vs− (as / am) · bm + bs <V 0
That is, the range excluding the range H in FIG.
[0007]
As described above, due to the error in the characteristics and the shift in position, there is a shift between the normal area and fail area for the actual fail determination and the normal area and fail area for the ideal fail determination.
Therefore, for example, in the region a in FIG. 9, the fail control should not be ideally performed, but the fail control is erroneously performed. On the other hand, in the region b of FIG. 9, the fail control is ideally performed but the fail control is not performed.
An object of the present invention is to provide a fail mechanism of a power steering device that can perform a fail determination by correcting an error in characteristics of both torque sensors and a shift in an attachment position.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first invention relates to a torque sensor fail mechanism of a power steering device, an electric motor that generates an assist force, a main torque sensor that outputs an electric signal V to a controller in accordance with torque T input from a steering wheel, A controller that controls the electric motor in accordance with the electric signal V, and a sub-torque sensor of the same type as the main torque sensor, and the characteristics of both torque sensors have a relationship of function V = f (T) In addition to the approximation, after both torque sensors are attached, actual measurement values at several points are plotted, and functions V = fm (T) and V = fs (T) are specified for each torque sensor and stored in the controller. On the other hand, when a torque is input while the vehicle is running, the controller uses the electrical signal Vm output from the main torque sensor to Substituting V = fm (T) to calculate the torque Tm, substituting the electric signal Vs output from the sub torque sensor into the function V = fs (T) and calculating the torque Ts, The difference is that the calculated torque difference | Tm−Ts | is obtained, and when it exceeds the allowable value T 0 , the step of performing the fail control is executed.
[0009]
The second invention is characterized in that, in the first invention, the characteristics of both torque sensors are approximate to those having a relationship of V = aT + b.
In a third aspect based on the second aspect, the main torque sensor has three actual measured values (T, V) = (0, Vm 0 ), (Tm 1 (> 0), Vm 1 ), (Tm 2 (<0), Vm 2 ) are plotted to identify the slope a and intercept b, and the sub-torque sensor has three measured values (T, V) = (0, Vs 0 ), (Ts 1 (> 0), Vs 1 ), (Ts 2 (<0), Vs 2 ) are plotted, and the characteristic is that the slope a and the intercept b are specified.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
1 to 3 show an embodiment of the torque sensor fail mechanism of the power steering apparatus of the present invention. However, in the following description, differences from the conventional example will be mainly described, and the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.
First, the characteristics of both

here,

And the inclination am and the intercept bm are specified.
[0012]
Similarly, with respect to the
V = fs (T) = as · T + bs
However, as = (Vs 1 −Vs 2 ) / (Ts 1 −Ts 2 )

Is identified.
These specified functions V = fm (T) and V = fs (T) are stored in the controller 7.

For example, some torque sensors have such characteristics that the rate of change of the voltage signal decreases as the torque increases. In such a case, an approximate function V = f (T) may be determined in advance by computer analysis or the like.

【The invention's effect】
According to the first invention, after mounting the two torque sensors, the measured values are plotted, and the functions V = fm (T) and V = fs (T) are specified for each torque sensor. Therefore, it is possible to correct an error in characteristics of both torque sensors and a deviation in the mounting position, and to perform accurate fail determination.
In addition, the torque sensor characteristics may vary, leading to cost reduction. Alternatively, since the attachment position may be shifted, the attachment operation can be simplified.
[0020]
According to the second invention, in the first invention, it is only necessary to specify the linear expression, so that it is not necessary to perform complicated calculations.
According to the third invention, since the number of plots is increased in the second invention, the functions V = fm (T) and V = fs (T) can be accurately specified.
Moreover, since plotting is performed at three points: T = 0, right direction torque T = Tm 1 , Ts 1 , left direction torque T = Tm 2 , Ts 2 , the intercept b with respect to the measured value of the neutral point and the
