Description
【0001】

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

Some microorganisms produce odorous substances by their biological metabolism. For this reason, a bad odor is emitted from the ionic substance collecting device, and the odorous substance is mixed into the water and flows out, so that the water after passing through the device gives off a bad odor, making the user uncomfortable and unsanitary. May be. Therefore, in this embodiment, in order to sterilize the microorganisms, in which decided to mark pressure regularly high pressure pulse voltage to the electrode. Hereinafter, the microorganism is described to be sterilized by indicia pressure pulse voltage.
[0022]
Then the solution indicia pressurizing the pulse voltage containing microorganisms, the potential difference of a magnitude proportional to the diameter and the electric field strength of the microorganism occurs on both sides of the cell membrane of the microorganism. When the potential difference is small, reversible destruction of the cell membrane of the microorganism occurs, but when the potential difference becomes large, the pores of the cell membrane cannot be repaired, resulting in irreversible destruction. The potential difference at which this breakdown occurs is said to be about 1V. Microorganisms are inactivated by the outflow of cell contents due to the destruction of the cell membrane.
[0023]
As described above, it is possible to inactivate microorganisms by applying a potential difference. However, a high-voltage direct current or a low-frequency alternating current causes a current to flow between the electrodes, resulting in a large amount of heat generation. In this case, the temperature of water flow rises and energy is used as heat, so the efficiency of sterilization is lowered. However, if the pulse width is marked pressurizing a short pulse voltage to about 1 microsecond, the voltage sign pressurized before the ion transfer between the electrodes due to the moving speed of ions in water is complete and ends, can move ions Instead, only electrons move. At this time, since there is no current due to ion movement, the current is reduced and heat generation is reduced. However, the microorganisms are instantaneously exposed to a high potential difference, and the above-described sterilization by pulse electrolysis is realized.
[0024]
While it is possible to pulse sterilize microorganisms while passing water between the electrodes, if the concentration of microorganisms in the water is low, the efficiency of sterilization is reduced and adsorption of ionic substances does not occur. .

FIG. 2 shows changes in the ionic substance removal ability (b) when pulsed electric field sterilization is performed in the bacteria collection and sterilization apparatus according to
[0028]
As shown in the figure, in the conventional purification apparatus, the charge contributing to the adsorption and collection on the surface of the adsorbent layer is consumed by the growth of the collected microorganisms, so that the ionic substance removal rate decreases with time. On the other hand, since the microorganisms collected in the adsorbent layer are periodically sterilized in the bacteria collection and sterilization apparatus that intermittently processes the high-voltage pulse sterilization process of this embodiment, the adsorption consumed by the growth of microorganisms The electric charge which contributes to adsorption collection of the material layer surface can be reduced. For this reason, the fall of an ionic substance removal rate can be suppressed, and a reproduction | regeneration space | interval can be extended. For this reason, the frequency | count of a regeneration process can be reduced and it becomes possible to raise the operation rate of a microbe collection sterilizer.
[0029]
As described above, the microorganisms contained in the passing water, after collecting current bacteria by utilizing the electric double layer capacitor
[0030]
In the first embodiment described above, but in which the voltage to the
[0031]
DC bias voltage is a low voltage of about 1 to 2 V, in a state in which the voltage is marked
[0032]
However, if the pulse interval is short, the electrode part generates heat and the sterilization efficiency is lowered. Therefore, the pulse interval is preferably 1 millisecond or more. In this case, sterilization effect for continuous pulse voltage is marked pressure is maintained.
[0033]
As described above, by using a power supply device in which a high-voltage pulse voltage is superimposed on a DC bias voltage every predetermined time , it is not necessary to switch between a collection power source and a sterilization power source, the changeover switch can be omitted, and the device is simplified. By carrying out continuous sterilization, the life of the purification device can be further extended, the generation of odor is less, and a sanitary collection and sterilization device can be obtained.
[0034]
In the above embodiment, the

Next, the operation will be described. In the collection mode for collecting ionic substances through water, the moving electrode 10 is fixed at a position of 10a. Further, the

[0039]
In order to improve the collection efficiency of ionic substances, the collection amount, and extend the life of the apparatus, it is necessary to increase the surface charge amount of the adsorbent layer that contributes to the collection. For this purpose, there is an increase in the distance between the electrodes of the adsorbent layer of the electric double layer capacitor and an increase in the surface area of the adsorbent layer, both of which increase the electric capacity of the electric double layer capacitor. It will be.
[0040]
On the other hand, in order to realize a high-voltage pulse voltage in a small size and at a low cost, it is necessary to reduce the capacity of the electric double layer capacitor and reduce the driving capacity load of the power source. In order to reduce the capacity of the electric double layer capacitor, it is necessary to reduce the distance between the electrodes of the adsorbent layer of the electric double layer capacitor or to reduce the surface area of the adsorbent layer.
Therefore, conventionally, it has been difficult to construct an apparatus that simultaneously satisfies the enhancement of the ability to collect ionic substances and the sterilization of microorganisms collected by pulse sterilization.
[0041]
According to this embodiment, the electrodes are configured to be movable, the distance between the electrodes in the collection mode is increased, and the distance between the electrodes in the sterilization mode is decreased. Compared with the sterilization apparatus, the high voltage pulse power source used in the sterilization mode can be made smaller, and a cheaper apparatus can be obtained.
[0042]
In the above embodiment, the electrode is in the form of a flat plate. Here, a bacteria collection and sterilization apparatus including an electrode having at least one protrusion on the electrode surface will be described.
FIG. 5 is a block diagram showing a bacteria collection and sterilization apparatus according to
In the figure,
[0043]
Next, the operation will be described. First, a DC voltage of the low voltage Then mark pressurized by harvesting the DC power source to the electrode of FIG. 5, charges contributing to the adsorption on the electrode surface appear. When water flows here, ionic substances in the water are adsorbed and collected by the electrodes. A negatively charged microorganism or the like is adsorbed on the anode, and a positively charged calcium ion or the like is adsorbed on the cathode by an electric attractive force.
[0044]
Then, whereupon indicia pressurizing the high-voltage pulse, partial dielectric breakdown electric field is concentrated in the projecting electrode tip occurs, a phenomenon called a streamer discharge is generated. As the voltage is increased, the streamer discharge region extends toward the counter electrode, and when it reaches the counter electrode, it shifts to spark discharge. Voltage indicia pressure in this embodiment is a pulse voltage lower than the voltage shifts to the spark discharge, is intended to discharge in the region of the streamer discharge.
[0045]
When streamer discharge occurs, a substance having a strong oxidizing power such as ozone or OH radical is generated by the discharge energy. Ozone and OH radicals act on microorganisms collected and adsorbed on the adsorbent layer, destroy the structure of the cell walls of the microorganisms by oxidation, inactivate the microorganisms, and obtain a bactericidal effect. it can.
[0046]
Thus, in this embodiment, by using the electrode having at least one or more projections, for that to occur the streamer discharge when marked pressurizing the high-voltage pulse, a strong oxidizing power such as ozone and OH radicals Organic substances attached to the adsorbent layer that are not easily decomposed with high-pressure pulses are obtained, as well as a sanitary collection and sterilization device with a longer life and reduced odor generation. Can be decomposed and the life can be extended.
[0047]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a separator having electrical insulation and made of a liquid-permeable member, and an adsorption member that is disposed across the separator and collects ions and microorganisms in the liquid, a pair of electrodes disposed on the outer side of the suction member, a predetermined in passed through the electrode and the DC voltage source that indicia pressure to low voltage, the collected microorganisms predetermined for every predetermined time to the electrodes in order to sterilize the by and a pulse power supply that indicia pressurizing the high-voltage pulse voltage, and can prevent lowering of the suction force due to growth of microorganisms, there is an effect that processing power for a long time can be maintained.
[0048]
In addition, the first switching means for switching between connection and disconnection of the DC voltage power supply and the second switching means for switching between connection and disconnection of the pulse power supply are provided, so that the sterilization operation of the attached microorganism can be set as necessary. can do.
[0049]
In addition, a separator made of a liquid-permeable member having electrical insulation properties, an adsorption member arranged to sandwich the separator and collecting ions and microorganisms in the liquid flow, and arranged outside the adsorption member comprising a pair of electrodes, and sign pressurizing a predetermined DC bias voltage during passed through the electrodes, and a power source for superimposing a predetermined high voltage pulse every predetermined time to a DC bias voltage to sterilize the collected microorganisms This eliminates the need for a switch for switching between a power source for collecting bacteria and a power source for sterilization, and can simplify the apparatus.
[0050]
[0051]
In addition, the adsorption member is formed of an elastic member, and includes a pressing unit that presses at least one of the electrodes against the adsorption member, and the distance between the opposing electrodes can be varied, thereby reducing the distance between the electrodes in the sterilization mode. This can be changed, the pulse power supply can be reduced in capacity, and the apparatus can be reduced in size.
[0052]
In addition, by having a protruding part on the electrode adsorbing member side, streamer discharge is generated and ozone and OH radicals are generated, so the bactericidal effect is improved and organic substances etc. can be decomposed It becomes.
