以上の目的を達成するための本発明に係るシートバックは、下部の左右方向の幅が上部の左右方向の幅に対して狭く形成した本体と、この本体内に上部の幅が下部の幅に対して広い枠状のフレームを設けてなるシートバックにおいて、前記本体の下部左右両側面に、前倒れ装置又はリクライニング装置からなる傾動装置を設け、この両傾動装置の外側に、本体の一部を前記本体の下部とで傾動装置を左右に挟むように延設する傾動装置被覆用の被覆部を設け、該被覆部は本体の発泡体製パッドと一体のサイドパッドと、このサイドパッドを被覆する袋状の表皮とからなることを特徴とする構成である。

【発明の実施の形態】

図１乃至図３は、本発明に係るシートバックＳＢを備えた自動車用シートのリャシートを示し、図１はシートの使用可能状態、図３はシートバックＳＢをシートクッションＳＣ上に前倒した状態を各々示す。以上のシートバックＳＢはシートクッションＳＣに傾動装置Ｒによって矢印方向である前倒方向に前倒れ又は前傾可能に連結されている。
