Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a ball-point pen tip, and more particularly, to a ball-point pen tip suitable for a water-based ink ball-point pen tip or a ball-point pen tip for low to medium viscosity ink. More specifically, a plurality of protrusions in the pipe serving as a ball seat formed by pressing and deforming the vicinity of the tip of a metal pipe in the axial center from three or more circumferential directions of the outer peripheral surface, The present invention relates to a ballpoint pen tip that holds a ball in the pipe by a tip edge formed by pressing and deforming the tip of the pipe inward.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, various proposals have been made for this type of ballpoint pen tip. For example, in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 1-1101 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-11476, a gap is formed between a plurality of protrusions formed in a pipe, and the ink supply side is moved to the ball side of the tip portion. The ink flow rate is ensured. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 6-312596, US Pat. No. 3,162,941, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-82532, and Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 57-108981 have the same configuration in that the ink flow rate is substantially secured. A ballpoint pen tip is disclosed.
[0003]
More specifically, for example, according to Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 1-11101, a ball seat is formed by pressing and deforming in the axial direction from three or more locations on the outer surface of the metal pipe in the vicinity of the end in the axial direction. In the ballpoint pen tip formed by forming a recess and holding the ball by bending the end of the pipe, the recess is an angled protrusion protruding toward the axis inside the pipe, Each apex of the peaks of the protrusions is spaced from each other by a capillary size in the cross section, and forms a center hole surrounding the axis in the shape of a regular polygon centered on the axis, and between the protrusions, the center hole is formed. A bar-shaped ink guide that communicates with the center hole and has a gap that is substantially equal to one side of the regular polygon, and has an end surface that is larger in diameter than the center hole from the end opposite to the ball of the pipe. The core is the end face Aqueous ink for ballpoint pen tip "consisting inserted into the pipe in contact with the rear surface of the detection section is disclosed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional example has the following drawbacks.
[0005]
That is, regarding the ink supply, the specific gravity of the ink supply amount has been excessively placed on the viewpoint of securing a sufficient amount, and there has been a tendency of excessive supply. For example, when using a low-viscosity ink or a medium-viscosity ink typified by water-based ink, the ink supply amount is excessively sufficient, but rather excessively supplied, causing bleeding, writing line width becoming too large, or too dark. There is an inconvenience and there has been an example that does not meet the expected ink requirement originally expected for a given ballpoint pen tip.
[0006]
For example, when writing with a ballpoint pen tip having a ball diameter of 0.4 mm and 0.5 mm, the writing line width that is naturally expected for the ball diameter to be used is such that the difference in writing thickness between the two cannot be distinguished. The amount of excessively supplied ink that does not satisfy the above-mentioned condition reduces the commercial value itself.
[0007]
Also, in the ink passage in the ballpoint pen tip, there is an uninterrupted ink flow required at the time of writing, that is, ink continuity, and withstands ink column breaks and breaks caused by writing, leaving, and impacting with the pen tip facing upward. An ink passage (generally a central hole and a gap, a gap, a slit, an ink) formed in a capillary size (usually 0.2 to 0.3 mm) in which the capillary action works effectively in order to keep the ink retention. It is essential to form a groove (referred to as a groove or the like) so as to penetrate between the plurality of protrusions in the axial direction of the pipe.
[0008]
In order to eliminate the above drawbacks, today, there is a demand for means for realizing an appropriate ink supply amount and reliable continuity and retention of ink with respect to the ballpoint pen tip.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of these points, and relates to ink supply of a ballpoint pen tip, and can accurately adapt the ink supply amount to an expected amount of ink expected for a predetermined ballpoint pen tip. It is an object of the present invention to provide a ball-point pen tip that can make the ink continuity and ink retention in the passage more effective than the conventional example.
[0010]
Furthermore, the present invention can improve the strength and wear resistance of the ball seat, and can freely adjust the ink supply state, the strength of the ball seat, the wear resistance state, and the like. Another object of the present invention is to provide a ballpoint pen tip that can select, set and deploy a ball support system for a ball seat.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the ballpoint pen tip according to the present invention is a ball seat formed by pressing and deforming the vicinity of the tip of a metal pipe inwardly in the axial center from three or more circumferential directions on the outer peripheral surface. A ball-point pen tip holding a ball in the pipe by a plurality of protrusions in the pipe and a tip edge formed by pressing and deforming the tip of the pipe inward, from the rear end of the pipe The ink guide core is inserted into the pipe so that the tip thereof faces the rear part of the protruding part and the rear part of the ball, and all the protruding parts adjacent in the circumferential direction are respectively in the axial center from the inner peripheral surface of the pipe. The ink guide core, the protruding portion, the close contact portion, and the bow are connected to each other with a close contact portion that contacts a fixed length region up to the middle so as not to form a gap along the inner peripheral surface of the pipe. Ink reservoirs and passages formed by being surrounded with by the ball lower surface comprising a rear portion of the The ink guide core and the bottom surface of the ball Capillary size that the capillary action works effectively is the shortest distance separating them The It is formed so as not to exceed.
[0012]
In the ballpoint pen using the ballpoint pen tip of the present invention formed as described above, the ink supplied from the ink reservoir inside the ballpoint pen is guided to the rear part of the protrusion that forms the ball seat through the ink guide core. The ink guide core, the protruding portion, the close contact portion, and the bottom surface of the ball, which is surrounded by the bottom surface of the ball, are stored in an ink reservoir / passage, or are supplied to the writing object through the rotation of the ball. The
[0013]
At this time, the passage area in the cross section of the ink reservoir / passage portion is narrower than the area of the inner circumferential circle of the pipe by a plurality of protrusions that are pressed and deformed from the outer peripheral surface of the pipe to the axial center, and Since the gap along the inner peripheral surface of the pipe is eliminated from the front and back in the axial direction of the protruding portion and the penetration is prevented, the flow of the ink is surely suppressed and adjusted, and the ink supply amount can be appropriately adjusted.
[0014]
The amount of ink supplied can be narrowed by intentionally setting the shape or arrangement of the passage space of the ink reservoir / passage formed by the interrelation between the ink guide core, the protruding portion and the close contact portion, the lower surface of the ball, etc. Or wider, and can be finely adjusted.
[0015]
Further, in the ink reservoir / passage portion, the close portions between the protrusions are joined with joint surfaces having predetermined spreads in the axial center direction and the axial length direction, respectively, to eliminate the gap along the inner peripheral surface of the pipe. , Preventing penetration. Therefore, in the conventional example in which the close contact portion is not interposed, an ink column corresponding to the maximum axial length of the joint surface is always formed. However, in the present invention, the ink column in this portion is surely omitted. Therefore, the length in the axial direction of the ink column existing between the protrusions can be shortened, and so-called breakage of the ink column often occurred in the conventional ball-point pen tip can be surely prevented.
[0016]
Also, when the ink reservoir / passage is viewed as a passage space as a whole, any inner dimension in the passage space is the shortest distance separating any one of the ink guide core, the protruding portion and the close portion, the ball lower surface, etc. Can be freely set so as not to exceed the capillary size in which the capillary action effectively acts, so that the entire passage space has a strong capillary action and ink continuity and ink retention are ensured.

If the conventional ball-point pen tip is compared with the same ball-shaped ball seat (same condition) as in the present embodiment, the ball pen tip according to the present embodiment clearly enhances the ball seat support capability. Yes. In particular, in the case of the first embodiment, it can be said that the strength and the wear resistance of the ball seat are approximately double compared to the conventional case.
[0061]
Similarly to the first embodiment, the strength and wear resistance of the ball seats in other examples described later are the same as in the first embodiment.

The difference from the first embodiment is that the
[0066]
What has been generally said about the conventional bearing system is that the linear ball seat (point contact) has the advantage that the ball is easy to rotate and smooth, but to support the ball at a point. There is a disadvantage of fast wear, the conical concave ball seat (line contact) is between the point contact and the surface contact described later, there is a moderate load capacity and lubricating action by ink, therefore the ball seat From the viewpoint of strength and wear resistance, it is preferable.
[0067]
On the other hand, a spherical concave ball seat (surface contact) described in the sixth embodiment to be described later is said to be preferable because it has a large ball load capacity, or actually has less ink supply to the contact surface, and is a viewpoint of lubrication. Some say it is not good.
[0068]
The various general expressions for these bearing systems are probably relatively relative and not absolute, but they should be understood as expressing one-sided characteristics, actions and effects, respectively. It is.

In this embodiment, a noticeable advantage is that the ball is immersed in the axial direction of the pipe due to wear of the ball seat that is generally progressed by using a ballpoint pen, and the ink supply passage, particularly the branch passage, is reduced. However, by preliminarily keeping the length corresponding to the wear of the branch passage dimension between the tip side of the

【The invention's effect】
As described above, since the ball-point pen tip according to the present invention is configured and operates in this way, the ink supply amount for the ball-point pen tip is the expected ink required amount for a predetermined ball-point pen tip. The ink continuity and ink retention in the ink passage can be made more effective than the conventional example, and the strength and wear resistance of the ball seat can be improved. A ballpoint pen tip that can be freely selected, set, and deployed according to design requirements such as ink supply status, ball seat strength, wear resistance, etc. It is possible to achieve such an effect.
