BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hydrodynamic bearing device having a configuration in which dynamic pressure is generated in a lubricating fluid, and a shaft body and a shaft-inserted insert are relatively rotatably supported by the dynamic pressure.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, various proposals relating to a hydrodynamic bearing device for supporting high-speed rotation of various rotating bodies such as a polygon mirror, a magnetic disk, and an optical disk have been made. In this hydrodynamic bearing device, the hydrodynamic bearing surface on the shaft body side and the hydrodynamic bearing surface on the shaft-insertion body side are provided so as to face each other in a radial direction with a predetermined gap therebetween. A pressure bearing portion is formed. Further, a dynamic pressure generating groove is formed on at least one of the opposed dynamic pressure bearing surfaces, and lubricating fluid such as air or oil injected into the dynamic pressure bearing portion is Pressure is applied by the pumping action of the dynamic pressure generating groove, and rotation support is performed in a state where both the shaft body and the shaft fitting insert are relatively floated by the dynamic pressure of the lubricating fluid.
[0003]
Lubricating paint for preventing seizure is generally applied to the surface of one side of both the dynamic pressure bearing surfaces of the shaft body or the shaft-insertion body in such a fluid dynamic bearing device, and the other surface is plated. The two are used in combination. However, when applying such a lubricating paint, it takes a lot of time for the coating process for thick coating, and finishes such as lace processing to form a uniform thickness A process must be applied. In addition, since a very large number of steps (about 50 steps) must be performed in the plating process, the conventional hydrodynamic bearing device has a problem that productivity is low and product cost is high. Furthermore, in the plating process, the durability against corrosion is not sufficient, and since the surface grows in a granular form, the surface roughness (smoothness) is not good, and wear powder is easily generated during use. In the case of a device that requires high performance, it may be a big problem.
[0004]
Based on this point of view, the inventors of the present application have proposed that a lubricating coating be formed by electrodeposition coating on either one of the dynamic pressure bearing surfaces of the shaft body and the shaft-insertion body. It has already been proposed in No. 10-235785. According to the prior invention, a lubricating coating can be easily obtained with a uniform layer thickness over the entire circumference by the uniform coating action of electrodeposition coating, and the electrodeposited lubricating coating is lubricated particles (PTFE) during electrodeposition coating. Since it floats on the surface portion of the paint, it is formed to have extremely good lubricity, and the bearing characteristics are improved.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, even in the electrodeposition coating having such a uniform coating property, in the hydrodynamic bearing device, the shaft body and the shaft insertion insert face each other through a very small clearance (several μm to several tens μm). Therefore, the bulging phenomenon due to paint dripping or the like at the edge portion of the painted surface, which can be ignored in a normal apparatus, may be a problem. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, electrodeposition is performed on the surface from the dynamic
[0006]
Since the swelled
[0007]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a hydrodynamic bearing device that can form an electrodeposition coating film with a uniform thickness on a shaft body or a shaft-inserted body with a simple configuration. .
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, in the invention described in
[0011]
According to the present invention having such a configuration, a lubricating coating can be easily obtained with a uniform layer thickness around the entire circumference by the uniform coating action of electrodeposition coating, and the lubricated coating that has been electrodeposited is lubricated during electrodeposition coating. Since the conductive particles (PTFE) float on the surface portion of the coating, the particles are formed to have very good lubricity, thereby improving the bearing characteristics.
[0012]
On the other hand, even in the electrodeposition coating having such a uniform coating property, in the hydrodynamic bearing device, since the shaft body and the bearing body are arranged to face each other through a minute clearance, the edge of the painted surface The bulging phenomenon due to paint dripping in the part cannot be ignored. In other words, the bulge of the paint may be generated to be equal to or more than the fitting clearance between the shaft body and the shaft insertion insert. Therefore, in the present invention, a liquid reservoir portion comprising a step portion having an appropriate dimensional relationship with the film thickness of the lubricating coating is provided at the edge portion of the hydrodynamic bearing surface serving as a dimensional reference, and the film thickness of the liquid reservoir portion is made uniform. By the function, the film thickness of the electrodeposition coating is made uniform even at the edge portion so that a good lubricating film can be easily obtained without performing post-processing such as lace processing.

The step portion constituting the liquid reservoir 21c in the present embodiment has a shape in which the outer surface of the radial dynamic pressure bearing surface 21a is recessed inward in the radial direction. It is formed so as to have a predetermined dimensional relationship with respect to the film thickness of the lubricating
[0029]
In performing electrodeposition coating, the outer surface of the blank material provided with the liquid reservoir 21c described above was subjected to a ground treatment such as chromate treatment (alodyne treatment) for improving corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. Thereafter, the blank material is immersed in an electrodeposition tank (not shown), and the entire surface of the blank material is coated by electrodeposition (electrostimulation). In this electrodeposition coating, a blank material is placed in a paint dispersed in water, and the paint is applied by passing an electric current so that the blank material and another metal body are in both poles.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention is extremely good based on the uniform coating action of electrodeposition coating by applying electrodeposition coating on one surface of both dynamic pressure bearing surfaces of the shaft body and the shaft-insertion insert. A lubricating coating having lubricity can be easily obtained, and the bearing characteristics can be improved. In addition, when the electrodeposition coating is performed, a minute coating bulge portion which is likely to occur at the edge portion is also a liquid reservoir portion having a step portion having an appropriate dimensional relationship with the thickness of the lubricating coating on the edge portion. Is provided in a notch shape, and a highly reliable electrodeposition coating surface can be obtained easily and reliably without post-processing such as lace processing.
