この発明は、液体燃料をノズルから噴霧して燃焼させるようにした噴霧燃焼装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
この種の噴霧燃焼装置においては、一般に、燃料送り管の途中に設けた燃料ポンプで常時一定量の液体燃料を噴霧ノズルに送り込むと共に、燃料戻り管を経由して噴霧ノズルから燃料ポンプより上流位置の燃料送り管に戻される液体燃料の流量を制御することにより、噴霧ノズルで燃焼される液体燃料の量を制御している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
図4は、そのような従来の噴霧燃焼装置を略示しており、燃料送り管91の途中には、電磁ポンプ92aにアキュムレータ92bと逆止弁92c等を加えた燃料ポンプ部ユニット92が一つのユニットとして設けられ、燃料戻り管93の途中には、電磁制御弁94aにアキュムレータ94b、逆止弁94c及びストレーナ94d等を加えた湯量調整弁部ユニット94が一つのユニットとして設けられている。

しかし、そのような構成を全体として見ると、燃料ポンプ部ユニット92、湯量調整弁部ユニット94の両ユニットと、その上流側において燃料送り管91を開閉するように設けられた電磁弁95及びストレーナ97と、下流側に設けられた噴霧ノズル96等に分かれていて構成が雑然としているだけでなく、組み立て時には各部の配管を各々接続する作業が必要となり、組み立てコストがかかっていた。

そこで本発明は、全体構成がシンプル化され、組み立てコストを大幅に削減できる噴霧燃焼装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するため、本発明の噴霧燃焼装置は、常時一定量の液体燃料を噴霧ノズルに送り込むための電磁駆動の燃料ポンプを燃料送り管の途中に設けると共に、上記燃料ポンプより上流位置において上記燃料送り管に上記噴霧ノズルから液体燃料の一部を戻すための燃料戻り管を設け、上記燃料戻り管を経由して上記燃料送り管に戻される液体燃料の流量を電磁駆動の戻り流量制御弁で制御することにより、上記噴霧ノズルで燃焼される液体燃料の量を制御するようにした噴霧燃焼装置において、上記燃料ポンプと上記流量制御弁とを各々電磁的に駆動するとともに、上記燃料ポンプ駆動用の電磁コイルと、上記流量制御弁駆動用の電磁コイルとを並列に配置し、上記両電磁コイルより上流側に配置された各部材を一つのブロックに設けると共に、上記両電磁コイルより下流側に配置された各部材を一つのブロックに設け、上記両電磁コイルを上記両ブロックの間に挟み込んで、それらを全体として一つのユニットに形成したことを特徴とする。

なお、上記上流側のブロックに取り付けられた部材には、上記燃料送り管を開閉するための電磁弁と、上記燃料送り管を通る燃料の脈動を吸収するためのアキュムレータとが含まれていてもよい。

また、上記下流側のブロックに取り付けられた部材には、上記噴霧ノズルと、上記燃料戻り管を通る燃料の脈動を吸収するためのアキュムレータとが含まれていてもよい。

【発明の実施の形態】
図面を参照して本発明の実施の形態を説明する。
図1、図2及び図3は、石油等の液体燃料を用いて給湯装置等の加熱源として用いられる噴霧燃焼装置を示しており、図1は正面断面図、図2は一部を断面で示す側面図、図3は配管図である。

図3に示されるように、石油タンク10と噴霧ノズル5とを連通する燃料送り管1の途中に介挿された燃料ポンプ41によって、石油タンク1内の石油が、燃料送り管1を通って噴霧ノズル5に常に一定量送られる。

噴霧ノズル5の先端部内で噴霧される石油の一部は、燃料戻り管6を経由して、燃料ポンプ41より上流側において燃料送り管1と合流する合流部8で燃料送り管1に戻される。

したがって、噴霧ノズル5から燃料戻り管6を通って戻される石油の量を変えることによって、噴霧ノズル6から燃焼部に噴霧されて燃焼に供される石油の量が制御される。

一方、下流側ブロック30には、流量制御弁71側から噴霧ノズル5への燃料の逆流を阻止するための逆止弁73、燃料戻り管6を流れる燃料を濾過してゴミを除去するためのストレーナ74及び脈動吸収用のアキュムレータ72が上流側から順に取り付けられている。

噴霧ノズル5側から燃料ポンプ41への燃料の逆流を阻止するための逆止弁43は、燃料ポンプ41内から下流側ブロック30にかけて配置されている。なお、燃料ポンプ41や流量制御弁71の内部構成等は公知のものなので、その詳細な説明は省略する。

このように構成された噴霧燃焼装置は、燃料ポンプ41の電磁コイル41aと流量制御弁71の電磁コイル71aを、それより上流側の部材が全部取り付けられた上流側ブロック20と下流側の部材が全部取り付けられた下流側ブロック30との間に挟み込まれて、全体が一つのユニット化されているので、全体構造が非常にシンプルであり、組み立て時には配管接続作業をほとんど行わなくてよいので、組み立てコストを大幅に削減することができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、燃料ポンプと流量制御弁を駆動する二つの電磁コイルとを並列に配置し、両電磁コイルより上流側に配置された各部材を一つのブロックに設けると共に、両電磁コイルより下流側に配置された各部材を一つのブロックに設け、両電磁コイルを両ブロックの間に挟み込んで、それらを全体として一つのユニットに形成したことにより、噴霧燃焼装置の全体構造が非常にシンプルになり、組み立て時には配管接続作業をほとんど行わなくてよいので、組み立てコストを大幅に削減することができる。
