【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is applicable to communications such as telephones (including videophones), facsimiles, videoconferencing, etc., which are communications in which delay is not allowed, and to the Internet and LAN (Local Area Network) where a certain delay is allowed during communications. The present invention relates to a data transmission system suitable for application to a data multiplex transmission system that multiplexes and transmits communications.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Traditionally, government agencies such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the National Police Agency and the Cabinet Office, local governments such as prefectures and municipalities, and public utilities such as electric power companies and gas companies have built private lines for the purpose of disaster prevention work and power system protection. is doing.
[0003]
For this purpose, it is necessary to maintain the communication function even in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake. In recent years, this self-supported line is reliable by configuring two or more wireless lines, or optical fiber lines and wireless lines. The sex is secured. Here, the optical fiber line has a capability of a transmission rate of [Gbps] or more, but the radio line has a transmission rate (transmission of about several [Mbps] to several hundred [Mbps] because radio waves are limited. In fact, the speed is an order of magnitude lower than that of an optical fiber line.
[0004]
In addition, there is an example in which some users share a wireless line with a plurality of users, and in the wireless line shared in this way, the transmission speed of the wireless line per user is several tens [ There are many cases where the capability of a lower transmission rate is in the range of kbps] to several [Mbps].
[0005]
In recent years, users of private lines tend to introduce IP technology, and various transmission methods are being studied. The optical fiber line has a sufficiently high transmission rate capability, and any transmission method can be adopted. Generally, 20 [Gbps] WDM, 2.4 [Gps] SONET, 156 [Mbps] SDH, etc. The degree of freedom of selection is large, such as the adoption of this method. On the other hand, as described above, the wireless line is extremely low, such as several [Mbps] to several hundred [Mbps], so that only a method with a low transmission rate such as 10/100 BASE-TX can be realized.
[0006]
A specific transmission speed is defined for the interface of the existing private line wireless device, such as 1.544 [Mbps], 6.31 [Mbps], 51.84 [Mbps], 155.52 [Mbps], etc. It is called Hierarchy and is recommended in the international standard period ITU-T.) In Japan, the interface of this private line wireless device is currently standardized in the range of 3 [Mbps] -208 [Mbps] (see Non-Patent Document 1).
[0007]
The specifications of the wireless device are designed so that an interface having such a transmission rate can be input / output in N series. When the device input / output interface of an existing wireless line employing such a device is converted to IP, it is converted to
[0008]
An IP network is a transmission method with high transmission efficiency because various media can be transmitted by sharing one IP transmission path. However, media that do not allow delay, such as VoIP, must be transmitted with guaranteed bandwidth. A QoS technique using a VLAN tag is generally used as a technique for performing this bandwidth guarantee.
[0009]
However, although this technology can preferentially transmit packets with a VLAN tag, it does not physically guarantee the bandwidth, and while transmitting data with a large packet size, Packet data having a VLAN tag is also waited. As a result, a delay fluctuation occurs, and in the worst case, a failure occurs such that voice cannot be restored by VoIP or the like. In order to completely prevent this, it is desirable to transmit data that is allowed to be delayed and data that is not allowed to be transmitted on physically different transmission paths, that is, to be transmitted on a two-channel transmission path.
[0010]
[Non-Patent Document 1]
Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (former Ministry of Construction) “6.5 GHz band 128QAM multiplex radio equipment specifications”, Kenden Tsushin (Nippon Dentsu) No. 48, enacted July 4, 2000, p. 1-p. 18
[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the wireless line shared by a plurality of users as described above, the transmission speed of the wireless line per user is as low as several tens [kbps] to several [Mbps], In this case, since it cannot be separated at a speed of 1.544 [Mbps] or less, it is impossible to transmit on two physically different transmission channels.
[0012]
The present invention has been made in consideration of such problems, and even when the transmission path is one system (one channel), there is no fluctuation in delay in which a certain transmission band is guaranteed for each terminal. It is an object of the present invention to provide a data transmission system that can provide a transmission path.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A data transmission system according to the present invention includes a plurality of terminals having a first transmission rate and a transmission path having a second transmission rate that is lower than the first transmission rate for transmitting data transmitted from the plurality of terminals. And a bandwidth allocation control device provided between the plurality of terminals and the transmission path, wherein the bandwidth allocation control device transmits data transmitted from the plurality of terminals via the transmission path, When transmitting to a partner terminal of a plurality of terminals, one frame of a fixed period corresponding to the second transmission rate of the transmission path is divided into at least the same number of time slots as the number of the plurality of terminals, and divided The time slot is assigned to each of the plurality of terminals for transmission (invention according to claim 1).
[0014]
According to the present invention, when the bandwidth allocation control device transmits data transmitted from a plurality of terminals to counterpart terminals of the plurality of terminals via the transmission path, the bandwidth allocation control apparatus supports the second transmission rate of the transmission path. One frame with a certain period is divided into at least the same number of time slots as the number of terminals, and the assignment of the divided time slots to each of the plurality of terminals is determined and transmitted. Even in the system (one channel), for example, an equivalent transmission band can be assigned to a plurality of terminals. That is, a certain transmission band is guaranteed for a terminal that can be connected to the transmission path.
[0015]
Even when data in which delay is not allowed and data in which delay is allowed are shared, it is possible to minimize the amount of delay and fluctuation of the delay with respect to data in which delay is not allowed.
[0016]
When the data whose delay is not allowed is VoIP data, the possibility of voice loss and disconnection is minimized.
[0017]
A terminal that transmits / receives data that is not allowed to be delayed is, for example, a VoIP terminal, and a terminal that transmits / receives data that is allowed to be delayed is a data terminal, but any terminal is, for example, an interface of 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX. It can comprise with the terminal which has.
[0018]
In this case, it is preferable that the bandwidth allocation control apparatus allocates at least one time slot among the plurality of time slots constituting the one frame to each of the plurality of terminals. ). By allocating in this way, a transmission band corresponding to at least (data capacity of one time slot / time of one frame) can be allocated to one terminal.
[0019]
Specifically, for example, when the time of one frame is 125 [μs] and the data of 789 [bit] is transmitted in the one frame, the transmission band is 789 [bit] / 125 [μs] = 6.312 [ Mbps]. One frame is divided into 98 time slots each having a data capacity of 8 bits (8 × 98 = 784 bits, and the remaining 5 bits are used for synchronization information). In this case, if one time slot is assigned to one terminal for one frame, a transmission band of 8 [bit] / 125 [μs] = 64 [kbps] is assigned to the terminal. A transmission band of 64 [kbps] is sufficient as a transmission band of VoIP.
[0020]
In other words, according to the present invention, for example, a transmission path having a speed of 1.544 [Mbps] or 6.312 [Mbps] is converted into a plurality of transmission paths (for example, 64 [kbps] × n). And a circuit for converting each separated transmission path (time slot) into 10/100/1000 BASE-TX.
[0021]
Further, when the bandwidth allocation control device detects that there are empty channels in a plurality of time slots constituting the one frame, the empty bandwidth allocation control apparatus follows the priority order predetermined for each of the plurality of terminals. By allocating channels, priority can be set for users who use the terminal (invention of claim 3).
[0022]
Further, when the bandwidth allocation control device detects that an empty channel exists in the time slot in the frame, each of the plurality of terminals is configured to reduce data delay as a whole data transmission system. By allocating the empty channel, the transmission band resource of the data transmission system can be effectively used (the invention according to claim 4).
[0023]
Further, the apparatus further comprises connection detecting means for detecting whether or not the plurality of terminals are connectable to the transmission path, and the band allocation control device is provided on the transmission path detected by the connection detecting means. By dividing the one frame into the same number of time slots as the number of terminals that can be connected, one frame can be automatically divided into the same number of time slots as the number of connected terminals. (Invention of Claim 5)
[0024]
The transmission line is preferably applied to a wireless transmission line or a metallic cable transmission line (invention of claim 6).
