Abstract
5PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of measurement errors by suppressing the reflection phenomenon of electromagnetic waves.
A radio wave absorber (110) covers a pipe part (42) and a box part (43) of a probe main body (40). The radio wave absorber 110 has a substantially conical trapezoidal shape that spreads from the head portion 41 side to the box portion 43 side of the probe main body 40. When the tapered radio wave absorber 110 made of urethane having a uniform carbon concentration is viewed from the head portion 41 side of the probe main body 40, the carbon concentration changes in the radial direction of the radio wave absorber 110. For this reason, since the radio wave absorber 110 absorbs broadband radio waves, the reflection phenomenon of the electromagnetic waves to be measured by the probe body 40 can be suppressed.

Description
The present invention relates to a radio wave absorber and an exterior body that cover an electromagnetic field probe for measuring an electromagnetic field.
このEMC対策は、エミッション(emission)ないしはEMI(Electro-Magnetic Interface)とイミュニティ(immunity)ないしはEMS(electro-magnetic susceptibility)とに関して行う必要がある。
In recent years, electromagnetic wave generation sources such as many electronic devices, electric devices, and wireless devices have come close to us. Electromagnetic waves from these electromagnetic wave generation sources may have various effects on the surrounding electromagnetic environment, and electronic devices that are electromagnetic wave generation sources themselves may be affected by the electromagnetic environment from other electromagnetic wave generation sources. . For this reason, an electronic device or the like is required to have EMC (Electro-Magnetic Compatibility) measures in order to prevent electromagnetic waves from being emitted from the device and to have resistance to the surrounding electromagnetic environment.
This EMC countermeasure needs to be performed with respect to emission or EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interface) and immunity or EMS (electro-magnetic susceptibility).
There is IEC61000-4-3 as a standard for evaluating the immunity of such electronic devices. In order to evaluate the resistance of electronic equipment to electromagnetic interference, the test according to the standard exposes the device under test or EUT (Equipment under Test) to the electromagnetic interference that the electronic equipment is supposed to be subjected to. Done by observing.
A specific configuration of the immunity test is disclosed in
In order to perform the immunity test, it is necessary to confirm that a uniform electric field region is formed in the anechoic chamber. In order to confirm the performance of such an anechoic chamber, it is required to measure the electric field strength value in the anechoic chamber using a field sensor and record the deviation.
As field sensors, products capable of measuring a wide frequency range exceeding 1 GHz are commercially available (for example, probes made by ETS LINDGREN), and the field strength value in an anechoic chamber is measured using them.
However, a commercially available field sensor has a problem that a frequency of measurement error is increased particularly when the frequency exceeds 1 GHz. This problem is considered to be caused by reflection of electromagnetic waves due to the structure of the field sensor. In order to suppress such an electromagnetic wave reflection phenomenon as much as possible, a method of measuring the field sensor by tilting it at 45 degrees or 33.5 degrees obliquely has been proposed. It was not possible to suppress it.

According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the measurement error of the electromagnetic field probe by suppressing the reflection phenomenon of electromagnetic waves.

Next, the shapes and the like of various radio wave absorbers attached to the probe
The radio wave absorber described below has a longitudinal shape and has an internal space (accommodating portion) corresponding to the shape of the probe
Further, the radio wave absorber described below has a uniform carbon concentration.
The
When such a tapered

The

Next, examples of the present invention will be described in detail.
In this embodiment, the
In addition, as a generally used electromagnetic wave absorber, urethane is impregnated with about 1.5 mg of carbon per liter. It is also conceivable to use a foamed polystyrene formed with a predetermined carbon concentration as the radio wave absorber. In addition, any other material that absorbs radio waves can be used as a radio wave absorber.
Here, FIG. 15 is a graph showing an implementation result, in which the vertical axis represents required power (W) and the horizontal axis represents frequency (MHz). FIG. 16 is a graph showing the amount of change calculated from the experimental results. As shown in FIG. 15 and FIG. 16, the experiment was performed in four modes under different conditions. FIG. 17 is a configuration diagram illustrating the
Example 1
In Example 1, the radio wave absorber 160 (see FIG. 10) according to the embodiment is attached to the probe main body 40 (see FIG. 10) to form the probe 30 (see FIG. 10), and the probe 30 (see FIG. 10). The experiment was carried out by fixing to a stand 31 (see FIG. 1). In this case, the pipe portion 42 (see FIG. 10) of the probe
Under the conditions of Example 1, experimental results as shown by line (1) in FIG. 15 were obtained. The change width in this case is 1.7 dB as shown in FIG. As described above, in the first embodiment, the required power varies very little with frequency.
Example 2
In Example 2, the radio wave absorber 160 (see FIG. 10) according to the embodiment is attached to the probe main body 40 (see FIG. 10) to form the probe 30 (see FIG. 10), and the probe 30 (see FIG. 10). Were attached to a foam mounting base (not shown) for experiments. In this case, the pipe portion 42 (see FIG. 10) of the probe
Under the conditions of Example 2, experimental results as shown by line (2) in FIG. 15 were obtained. The change width in this case is 1.6 dB as shown in FIG. As described above, even in the second embodiment, the required power varies very little depending on the frequency.
Comparative Example 1
As Comparative Example 1, the experiment was performed by attaching the probe
Comparative Example 2
As Comparative Example 2, as shown in FIG. 17, a cube-shaped
Also in Comparative Example 2, the required power fluctuation was large as shown by the line (4) in FIG. Further, the change width was 7.0 dB as shown in FIG. In this case, the
Thus, Example 1 and Example 2 have a smaller change width of the required power and less frequency dependency than Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2. That is, in Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2, the maximum required power and the minimum required power are changed by about 5 times. For this reason, equipment such as a power amplifier corresponding to the maximum required power is required, and a large amount of power consumption is required, so that it is difficult to reduce manufacturing costs and test costs. On the other hand, in the case of Example 1 and Example 2, since the difference between the maximum required power and the minimum required power is small, equipment such as a power amplifier having a small rated output is sufficient. For this reason, it becomes possible to significantly reduce the manufacturing cost and the test cost.
Further, it can be said that the greater the variation in the transmission output due to the frequency, the greater the influence of the reflected wave from the surrounding structure including the
