Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a temper rolling method for steel sheets, and more particularly to a temper rolling method for steel sheets suitable for the production of can steel sheets having high gloss.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The temper rolling of a steel plate (for example, a steel plate for cans) that requires gloss before or after plating is usually performed by a dry rolling method using a rolling mill having two or more stands, and different roles are assigned to the respective stands. That is, the first stand is mainly intended to adjust the material (surface hardness, etc.), and a dull roll with a strong grip force is required so as to ensure a processing rate (elongation rate) for this purpose. The dull roll is a roll having a dull surface with a weak directivity (generally strong randomness) on the surface by shot blasting, electric discharge machining, laser machining, etc., and the surface roughness is Ra 0.5 μm or more. The polishing rolls include a roll called Mirror Bright, which has a mirror surface, and a roll called Scratch Bright, which retains polishing lines (roughness Ra of 0.15 μm or more). Some are 0.5 μm or more. However, experience has shown that scratch bright rolls are not sufficient for securing elongation and are not used for the rolls of the foremost stand.
[0003]
The second and subsequent rolls are rolled with a scratch bright roll in order to reduce the influence of the previous round and improve the gloss, and the surface roughness is adjusted in the final stage to match the target steel sheet roughness. The steel sheet is rolled with a scratch bright roll, mirror bright roll or dull roll having a high surface roughness.
Here, if the number of stands of the middle stage bright roll is increased, the glossiness is improved, but a large equipment cost, running cost, and installation space are required. The most advantageous in terms of equipment cost is to use two stands. In this case, the front stage is almost limited to a dull roll such as a shot dull roll, and the rear stage is almost limited to a bright roll (see, for example, JP-A-1-95803).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In recent years, the level of glossiness required due to roughness restrictions has risen, especially in temper rolling mills with a small number of stands, such as 2 stands, which makes it difficult to handle due to the small number of passes on bright rolls. It's getting on. Although a method of passing through the rolling mill twice without increasing the number of stands is conceivable (the second round is a full-stage bright roll), the cost increase due to an increase in the process cannot be denied.
[0005]
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a means for improving glossiness without increasing the load on facilities and processes.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive studies to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present inventors have obtained the following knowledge.
(A) When rolling is applied using non-directional shot dull rolls, discharge dull rolls, etc., at the forefront of temper rolling, gloss deterioration is significant. Later glossiness is significantly improved. The reason for this is presumed that the scratch bright roll has one direction of polishing, and in particular, does not form a small hole-like recess called a dulbit which is considered to be a cause of gloss deterioration.
[0007]
(B) When a scratch bright roll is used in the foremost stage in a general low carbon steel, a sufficient elongation cannot be obtained. Although the reason for this has not been elucidated, it is considered that, for example, the polishing eyes are provided in the roll axis direction, the roughness in the circumferential direction is small, and the gripping force is weak. However, in steel sheets that have been reduced to a certain amount or less to increase the degree of softness before temper rolling, so-called ultra-low carbon steel sheets, the elongation is sufficient to obtain the desired hardness even if the scratch bright roll is used in the foremost stage. Can be secured. It should be noted that extremely low carbon steel often has excessive elongation and excessive hardness in the former dull roll rolling. In addition, even if the hardness does not become excessive, the elongation rate deviates from the control value, forcing a quality survey before shipment. On the other hand, by using a scratch bright roll instead of the dull roll, such excess elongation was eliminated.
[0008]
The present invention has been completed by further studies based on the above findings, and the gist thereof is as follows.
(1) When temper-rolling a steel plate with a multi-stand rolling mill, the steel plate is C: 0.012 wt% or less, and at least the foremost rolling roll is a scratch bright roll having a roughness Ra of 1.2 μm or less, A temper rolling method for a steel sheet, wherein at least the last rolling roll is a bright roll having a roughness Ra of 0.5 μm or less.
[0009]
(2) When temper rolling a steel plate with a two-stand rolling mill, the steel plate is C: 0.012 wt% or less, and the former roll is a scratch bright roll with a roughness Ra of 1.2 μm or less. A temper rolling method for a steel sheet, characterized in that the rolling roll is a bright roll having a roughness Ra of 0.5 μm or less.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The reasons for limiting the requirements of the present invention will be described below.
[Composition of the target steel sheet]
The reason for limiting the steel plate to C: 0.012 wt% or less is that if the steel plate of C: 0.012 wt% or more is rolled as a scratch bright roll, the elongation cannot reach the desired hardness-corresponding value. . In addition, More preferably, it is 0.0080 wt% or less. Moreover, a preferable minimum is 0.0010 wt%, and if it is less than this, the elongation may be excessive.
[0011]
FIG. 1 is a graph showing the relationship between the amount of C and the elongation rate of a temper rolled steel sheet, which is an example of the investigation results of the present inventors. In the figure, SB 0.6 uses a scratch bright roll with a roughness Ra of 0.6 μm, SB 0.15 uses a scratch bright roll with a roughness Ra of 0.15 μm, and SD 0.6 uses a shot dull roll with a roughness Ra of 0.6 μm for the first stand. It was. In each case, the temper rolling mill has a two-stand configuration, and a scratch bright roll having a roughness Ra of 0.2 μm was used for the second stand. The reduction condition was such that an elongation of 1.6% ± 0.2% was obtained at C: 0.002 wt%.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 1, when the first stand is a shot dull roll, the elongation is unstable in extremely low carbon steel, apart from the low glossiness. Also, if the first stand is a scratch bright roll with a roughness Ra of 0.15 μm, the elongation cannot be secured. On the other hand, when the first stand is a scratch bright roll having a roughness Ra of 0.6 μm, the target elongation can be obtained at C: 0.012 wt% or less. However, if it exceeds 0.0080 wt%, the elongation begins to decrease and is somewhat unstable.
[0013]
The target steel sheet of the present invention preferably contains either or both of Ti: 0.2 wt% or less and Nb: 0.1 wt% from the viewpoint of ensuring softness and workability. In addition, about a minimum, Ti: 0.005 wt% or more and Nb: 0.002 wt% or more are good.
Further, for the purpose of deoxidation and N fixation, Al: 0.15 wt% or less may be added.
[0014]
In addition, Si: 0.2 wt% or less, Mn: 0.5 wt% or less (more preferably 0.1 wt% or more is preferable), P: 0.05 wt% or less, S: 0.03 wt% or less as other components within the normal composition range It is preferable to contain. More preferably, Si: 0.05 wt% or less, P: 0.02 wt% or less, and S: 0.02 wt% or less.
Further, Ca or the like may be further added depending on the purpose of material control.
[Roll of the front stand]
At least the rolling roll of the foremost stand needs to be a scratch bright roll having a roughness Ra of 1.2 μm or less. In dull rolls and scratch bright rolls with a roughness of Ra over 1.2 μm, the gloss before plating and after plating deteriorates. Further, the lower limit of the roughness is preferably Ra 0.20 μm or more. If the roughness Ra is less than 0.20 μm, the elongation (hardness) tends to be insufficient. A further preferred roughness range is Ra 0.5 to 1.0 μm. The roll surface treatment is not particularly limited, but for example, Cr plating may be applied from the aspect of wear resistance.
[Roll of the last stand]
In order to secure a glossiness of a predetermined level or more, at least the final rolling roll needs to be a bright roll having a roughness Ra of 0.5 μm or less. Bright rolls may be either mirrors or scratches depending on the target roughness, but gloss (including after plating) cannot be ensured if the roughness exceeds Ra 0.5 μm. However, it is preferably less than the roughness of the front roll. In particular, the effect of the present invention is remarkable at a roughness Ra of about 0.15 to 0.3 μm, which has not been able to satisfy the demand for glossiness.
[0015]
The glossiness decreases as the roughness of the foremost roll increases, but at the same roughness, an improvement in glossiness is recognized by changing the foremost roll from dull to scratch bright.
The lower limit of the roughness is not particularly limited, and the roll surface treatment is not particularly limited. For example, Cr plating may be applied from the aspect of wear resistance.
[Rolls of stands other than the above (when 3 stands or more)]
Bright rolls are preferred as rolls used in stands other than the foremost and last stages. In particular, those having a roll roughness within the range defined by the roll roughness of the first and last stages are suitable for securing the gloss.
[Others]
The temper rolling is preferably dry rolling that does not lubricate the steel sheet. The elongation is preferably 3% or less. More preferably, it is 1.5% ± 1%, still more preferably 1.5% ± 0.5%. The target hardness should be about 50-60 for HR30T.
[0016]
There is no particular designation for plating after temper rolling. Various plating methods can be applied to the target steel plate of the present invention, such as tin plating, Cr plating, or Ni base treatment or chromate treatment, which are common as steel plates for cans.
In the present invention, the glossiness was measured at an incident angle of 20 ° using a glossmeter.
[0017]
【Example】
After recrystallization annealing (continuous annealing) of the cold-rolled steel sheets having the respective components shown in Table 1, they were subjected to temper rolling using a temper rolling machine of 2 to 3 stands under the conditions shown in Table 2, and the hardness (HR30T) of each steel sheet. ) Was measured, and then tin plating (weight per unit area 2.8 g / m 2 ) was applied. After reflow treatment, the glossiness was measured. Here, the glossiness is
: 1300-1500
◯: Less than 1100 to 1300 Δ: 900 to less than 1100 ×: Evaluated in 4 stages, less than 900.
[0018]
The results are shown in Table 2. As is apparent from Table 2, it was confirmed that the inventive examples according to the present invention have improved glossiness as compared with the comparative examples deviating from the present invention.
[0019]

[0020]

[0021]
【The invention's effect】
Thus, according to the present invention, there is an excellent effect that a steel sheet for cans having a high glossiness can be produced only by performing unidirectional rolling with a temper rolling mill having 2 to 3 stands.
