【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fuel injection timing control device applied to, for example, a diesel engine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a fuel injection timing control device of this type, a technology that detects vibration generated during the combustion stroke of an engine as an ignition signal (combustion signal) and performs injection timing control by a timer mechanism based on the ignition signal. Is disclosed. In such a device, the actual ignition timing caused by mechanical errors of the fuel injection pump, engine differences, aging, etc. is performed by controlling the injection timing by a timer mechanism so that the actual ignition timing matches the target ignition timing. The deviation from the target ignition timing can be corrected.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional fuel injection timing control device, the intake noise of the engine or the exhaust valve is erroneously detected as an ignition signal at the time of combustion, which may cause a problem that the control accuracy of the fuel injection timing is deteriorated. was there. In particular, in the high rotation / high load state, the seating noise becomes large, and there is a possibility that the above-described problem becomes remarkable.
[0004]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned problems, and the object of the present invention is to appropriately determine whether the detected ignition timing is due to combustion or noise, and is not affected by noise. An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection timing control device capable of realizing highly accurate fuel injection timing control.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, for example, the vibration sensor attached to the cylinder block of the engine is generated when the fuel injected from the fuel injection pump into the engine cylinder is burned. An ignition signal is detected (ignition timing detection means). Then, the actual ignition timing is calculated from the reference position signal corresponding to the reference crank angle position of the engine detected by the reference position sensor (reference position detection means) and the ignition signal from the ignition timing detection means (actual ignition timing). Computing means). Further, based on the engine operating state, the target ignition timing and the target injection timing by the timer mechanism are calculated (target ignition timing calculation means, target injection timing calculation means). Further, an injection timing correction amount is obtained based on the deviation between the actual ignition timing and the target ignition timing, and the target injection timing is corrected by the injection timing correction amount (injection timing correction means). The operation of the timer mechanism is controlled based on the target injection timing (injection timing control means).
[0006]
Further, in the characteristic part of the present invention, when the phase of the fuel injection timing is changed by the timer mechanism, the ignition signal detected by the ignition timing detection means is caused by noise according to the phase change state of the actual ignition timing at that time. Is determined (noise determination means). Further, when the noise determining means determines that the ignition signal is noise, correction of the target injection timing by the injection timing correcting means is prohibited (correction prohibiting means).
[0007]
In short, when the vibration during combustion (ignition) of the fuel is detected as the ignition signal as described above, there is a possibility that the intake noise or the seating noise of the exhaust valve may be erroneously detected as the ignition signal. However, the detection signal corresponding to the same seating noise is originally fixed in phase with respect to the reference crank angle position of the engine, while the detection signal corresponding to actual ignition is a timer mechanism with respect to the reference crank angle position. Produces a phase difference corresponding to the injection timing control. Therefore, when the phase change of the fuel injection timing by the timer mechanism is determined, it is possible to determine whether or not the ignition signal is due to noise by determining the phase change state of the actual ignition timing at that time. In the case where the ignition signal is due to noise, by prohibiting the injection timing correction based on the ignition signal, adverse effects due to noise can be avoided, and high-precision fuel injection timing control can be realized.
[0008]
In particular, in the second aspect of the invention, the noise determination means detects the ignition signal detected by the ignition timing detection means if the phase change of the fuel injection timing by the timer mechanism and the phase change of the actual ignition timing are in the same direction. Is determined to be due to fuel combustion, and if the direction is different, it is determined that the ignition signal is due to noise. Therefore, it becomes possible to more clearly determine the noise. Here, the phase change of the fuel injection timing and the phase change of the actual ignition timing are different directions, in addition to the change directions of each other, the relative change that one changes and the other does not change. Also includes state.
[0009]
Further, in the invention according to
[0010]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, when the phase change of the fuel injection timing by the timer mechanism is smaller than a predetermined value and the phase change of the actual ignition timing at that time exceeds a predetermined value, the noise discrimination means It is determined that In other words, when the phase change of the fuel injection timing by the timer mechanism is smaller than the predetermined value, the actual ignition timing should have a small phase change. Therefore, according to the above configuration, noise discrimination can be clearly performed.
[0011]
Furthermore, in the invention according to claim 5, the control accuracy of the fuel injection timing is improved by storing the past actual ignition timing and fuel injection timing for calculating the phase change of the actual ignition timing and the fuel injection timing for each cylinder. It can be further increased.
[0012]

In this embodiment, the vibration sensor (knock sensor) detects the vibration generated during engine combustion as the ignition timing detection means. However, when the knock sensor is used in a gasoline engine, it is shown below. Has differences. In other words, in a gasoline engine, both noise due to intake or exhaust valve seating and vibration generated by knocking occur at a specific position in the rotational phase of the engine. Therefore, the noise removal of the knock sensor is a method in which the knock sensor output is masked outside a specific section of the engine rotation phase (for example, 10 to 50 ° CA after compression top dead center), and the signal only in the section is monitored. It is taken. On the other hand, in a diesel engine, the combustion is self-ignition, and the start of combustion (ignition timing) is closely related to the fuel injection start timing. That is, the phase of the ignition timing changes in response to the phase change of the injection timing. From the above, the ignition timing of the diesel engine can be reliably detected by the vibration sensor (knock sensor).

Further, according to the configuration of the present embodiment, a new noise removing unit is provided for the ignition timing detection signal from the
