Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an output control device for a synchronous generator, and more particularly to an output control device for a synchronous generator suitable for increasing the amount of power generation in a low rotation range.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A three-phase synchronous generator is used as a vehicular power generator, and the generated alternating current is rectified by a three-phase full-wave rectifier and used for charging a battery. In the three-phase synchronous generator disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-19194, a phase advance current is caused to flow through the stator coil, and the field flux is increased by the magnetizing action of the armature reaction caused by the phase advance current to be output. (Generated voltage and output current) are increased.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Generally, a generator is provided with a regulator that limits the output voltage so that the generated power does not exceed a predetermined value, and power generation is stopped when this regulator functions. When power generation stops, load fluctuations occur in the engine, and therefore engine rotation becomes unstable particularly in a low rotation range. On the other hand, if the generated power is excessive, the influence on the engine rotation due to the increase of the friction is large in the low rotation range.
[0004]
An object of the present invention is to provide an output control device for a synchronous generator capable of increasing generated power without causing engine rotation to be unstable in a low rotation range.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention includes a detecting means for detecting the rotational speed of the rotor of the generator, an energizing means for increasing the power generation amount of the generator by retarding energization of the stator winding, A regulator for limiting the output voltage of the generator to a predetermined regulated voltage, and the retarding energization is performed when the rotational speed of the rotor is in a predetermined low rotational speed range, and the output A first feature is that energization control is performed so as to control the voltage to a voltage control value that is planned to be lower than the regulated voltage.
[0006]
According to the first feature, the power generation output is increased by energizing the stator winding with a retarded angle. This retarded energization is performed so as to control the output voltage to a voltage control value that is set lower than the regulator regulated voltage, so that the amount of power generation can be stably increased without operating the regulator in the low rotation range. Can be achieved.
[0007]
Further, according to the second aspect of the present invention, in the retardation energization, the output voltage is controlled to the predetermined voltage control value by changing the energization duty while maintaining the energization delay amount at a predetermined value. There are features.
[0008]
Further, according to the present invention, the voltage control value has a predetermined width, the energization duty is slightly reduced when the output voltage reaches the maximum value of the width, and the output voltage becomes the minimum value of the width. There is a third feature in that it is slightly increased when it falls below, and there is a fourth feature in that the energization duty is determined according to the rotational speed of the generator.
[0009]
According to the second to fourth features, since the timing of the retardation is fixed, the adjustment of the power generation amount is easy, and the adjustment accuracy can be increased.
[0010]

FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the relationship between the engine speed and the generated current when ACG energization control is performed. In the figure, a region where the engine speed is 1000 rpm to 3500 rpm is set as a power generation control region, and in such a low rotation region, the power generation current (ACG output) of ACG1 by the conventional control method is extremely small. Therefore, the generation current is increased by ACG energization control in the generation control region. The increment is indicated by a dotted line as “at the time of retarded energization”. By controlling the power generation amount so as to correspond to the normal load current, it is possible to secure the power generation amount corresponding to the current consumption amount even in the low rotation region.

FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating a change in battery voltage in the retarded angle power generation region. In the figure, the battery voltage Vb is controlled within the ACG control voltage range defined by the maximum control voltage value VMax and the minimum control voltage value VMin which are set to a regulated voltage (14.5 V) or less. Specifically, the energization delay amount with respect to the stator coil is set to a fixed value (for example, an electrical angle of 60 °), and the energization duty of the full-

FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing the processing of the output control apparatus. In the figure, in step S1, it is determined whether or not the engine speed is in the power generation control region. As described above, the power generation control region is set to, for example, 1000 rpm or more and 3500 rpm or less. If the engine speed exists in the power generation control area, the process proceeds to step S2, and it is determined whether or not a flag FACG indicating that the engine speed exists in the power generation control area is set (= 1). To do. If the flag FACG is not set, the process proceeds to step S3, where the flag FACG is set (set to "1"). If the flag FACG is set, the process proceeds to step S4, and the scheduled value ACGAGL is set to the energization delay amount acgagl. The scheduled value ACGAGL can be appropriately set in advance, but in this embodiment, for example, the electrical angle is 60 °. In the following step S5, the initial value ACDUTY is set to the energization duty acduty. The initial value ACDUTY can be appropriately set in advance, but is 40% in the present embodiment, for example. If steps S3 to S5 are completed, the process proceeds to step S7. If step S2 is positive, steps S3 to S5 are skipped and the process proceeds to step S7. If the engine speed does not exist in the power generation control region, the flag FACG is reset (= 0) in step S6, and the process proceeds to step S7.
[0027]
In step S7, it is determined whether or not the flag FACG is set. If the flag FACG is set (= 1), it is determined in step S8 whether or not the battery voltage Vb is greater than or equal to the control voltage maximum value VMax. The control voltage maximum value VMax is set to a value lower than the regulated voltage, for example, 13.5 volts. When the battery voltage Vb is not equal to or higher than the maximum control voltage value VMax, the process proceeds to step S9, and it is determined whether or not the battery voltage Vb is equal to or lower than the minimum control voltage value VMin. The control voltage minimum value VMin is set to 13.0 volts, for example. If the battery voltage Vb is not less than the control voltage minimum value VMin in step S9, it is determined that the battery voltage Vb is within the ACG energization voltage range set to a value lower than the regulated voltage of the regulator. ACG energization control is performed according to the retard amount acgagl and the energization duty acduty.
[0028]
If it is determined in step S8 that the battery voltage Vb is greater than or equal to the control voltage maximum value VMax, the process proceeds to step S11 to reduce the energization duty acduty by a minute value DDUTY. The minute value DDUTY is, for example, 1%. On the other hand, when it is determined in step S9 that the battery voltage Vb is equal to or lower than the minimum control voltage value VMin, the process proceeds to step S12 to increase the energization duty acduty by a minute value DDUTY. After the processing of steps S11 and S12, the process proceeds to step S10. The minute value DDUTY when increasing and decreasing the energization duty is not necessarily the same, and is minute in proportion to the difference between the control voltage maximum value VMax or the control voltage minimum value VMin and the current value. The value DDUTY may be changed.
[0029]
On the other hand, if the flag FACG is not set in step S7 (= 0), the process is not in the power generation control region, so the process proceeds to step S13 and ACG energization control is stopped.

[0031]
FIG. 8 is an energization duty table in which the engine speed, that is, the generator speed is set as a parameter. The engine speed is detected, and an energization duty according to the engine speed is determined with reference to FIG.
[0032]
In the above embodiment, a permanent magnet is arranged as a field magnetic flux generating magnet means in the outer rotor / inner rotor system in the outer rotor. However, the present invention can be similarly applied to a generator in which a field magnetic flux generating magnet means is provided in the inner rotor, and a generator in which an electromagnet is adopted as a field magnetic flux generating magnet means. Further, the energization delay amount acgagl is not set to a fixed value, but proportional, differential, integral and combined control thereof can be performed according to a general negative feedback control method.
[0033]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the first to fourth aspects of the invention, the amount of power generation can be stably increased without operating a normal voltage regulator in a low rotation range. Therefore, when applied to an on-vehicle generator in which the rotor is driven by an engine, fluctuations in engine load can be reduced during idle operation, etc., so that fluctuations in engine rotation can be minimized, and idle operation can be stabilized. . Further, according to the second to fourth aspects of the invention, since the timing of the retardation is fixed to a preset value, the power generation amount can be easily adjusted with a simple configuration, and the adjustment accuracy can be increased. .
