本発明は受信装置の技術に関し、特に受信装置の画面に表示されるソフトキーボードの技術に関する。

近年、デジタル放送も開始され、放送も多種多様になり、また、データ放送と連携していろいろな番組を楽しめるようになっている。

このような状況下において、視聴者が自ら、氏名や住所等の文字を入力する機会が多くなっている。このような、文字を入力する際、現在の受信装置（テレビ）は専用のキーボードを持たないため、画面上に５０音順に文字が並べられたキーボード（ソフトキーボードと呼ばれる）を表示し、入力したい文字のキー上にフォーカスをリモコンを用いて移動させ、入力するのが一般的である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、現在のソフトキーボードによる入力は、入力したい文字同士が離れていると、フォーカスを移動するのに手間が係り、非常に時間を有する。例えば、「あめ」と入力する場合、「あ」のキー位置にフォーカスを移動して確定後、次の「め」のキー位置に移動するまで、キーボードを横断するようなフォーカスの移動をせねばならず、リモコンのフォーカス移動キーを押し続けなければならなかった。

これでは、入力の手間がかかり、ユーザの情報入力の意欲が減退する。

そこで、本発明は上記課題に鑑みて発明されたものであって、その目的は画面上に表示されたキーボード（ソフトキーボード）を用いた入力の際に、指定のキーまでの移動をより簡単にし、ソフトキーボードによる文字の入力を容易にする技術を提供することにある。

上記課題を解決する第１の発明は、受信装置であって、
互いに異なる色に着色された複数の操作用ボタンを有する操作手段と、
ディスプレイと、
前記操作用ボタンの色に対応して複数に色分けされたキーからなるソフトキーボートを、前記ディスプレイに表示するソフトキーボード表示手段と、
前記操作用ボタンに押下に応答して、前記押下された操作ボタンの色と同じ色のソフトキーボード上の任意のキーにフォーカスを移動させるフォーカス移動手段と
を有することを特徴とする。

尚、本実施の形態では、ソフトキーボード表示部３と、フォーカス移動４とを別個に構成したが、ひとつのプログラムにより動作する制御部により、構成しても良い。この場合、プログラムは、ＢＭＬで記述され、放送局から放送されて各受信機で受信される。
