【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、携帯情報端末に対してカメラ部を着脱自在に設けた携帯情報端末または携帯電話機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、モバイルマルチメディアの技術開発が盛んに行われ、音声、データ、動画像を含む映像を、時と場所を選ばずに自在にやりとりできる携帯情報端末が提供されている。
例えば、携帯電話機にあっては、携帯電話機本体に各種操作キーや液晶表示部を備えるとともに、撮像するためのカメラ部が当該本体部に一体化されている。そして、このカメラ部は携帯電話機本体に対して姿勢を変えることができるように設けられており、通話者や周囲の様子を自在に切り替えて撮影できるように形成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の携帯情報端末または携帯電話機は以上のように構成されているので、携帯情報端末あるいはカメラ部を用途に応じてそれぞれ使い分けたい場合であっても、一体化された両者を使わなければならず、ユーザの多様性に柔軟に対応できないなどの課題があった。
すなわち、例えば、通信相手や使用目的に合わせて撮影端末と画像端末を使い分けたり、TPOに合わせたカメラ部を選択したり、画像端末から撮影端末にグレードアップしたい場合には、携帯情報端末本体とカメラ部の両者を買い換えるなどしなければならなかった。
また、知人同士でカメラ部のみを互いに交換し合うことにより撮影データを共有したり、TPOに合わせた用途を無限に広げていくということが困難であり、新たな文化創出の障害ともなっていた。
そこで、カメラ部を携帯情報端末本体に対して着脱可能な携帯情報端末の提供が望まれていたが、当該着脱部における機械的、電気的信頼性を確保するとともに、外部からの湿気や汚れなど使用環境に対する信頼性をも確保しなければならず、その実現に苦慮していた。

この発明は上記のような課題を解決するためになされたもので、携帯情報端末あるいは携帯電話機に対してカメラ部を着脱自在に形成することにより、TPOに合わせて両者を容易に選択使用できユーザの多様性に柔軟に対応できるとともに、信頼性の高い携帯情報端末または携帯電話機を得ることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明に係る携帯情報端末は、少なくとも電源部、信号送受信部、表示部、アンテナを有した携帯電話機の本体部と、少なくとも撮像部、撮像部駆動部、信号送受信部を有したカメラ部とを備えた携帯電話機において、前記カメラ部は前記本体部に対して着脱自在に形成され、当該カメラ部と当該本体部は、当該本体部から当該カメラ部に電力を供給する非接触電力用コネクタと、当該本体部と当該カメラ部との間で信号伝送を行う非接触信号用コネクタとをそれぞれ備え、両コネクタは当該カメラ部を当該本体部に装着した際に各々対向する位置に配設し、前記本体部は、当該本体部へのカメラ部の装着の有無を判定するカメラ有無判定手段と、当該カメラ部の装着の有無に応じて最適なアンテナ特性にするカメラ有り整合回路およびカメラ無し整合回路と、当該カメラ有無判定手段の判定結果に応じて前記整合回路を切り替える整合回路切替手段とを備えたものである。

この発明に係る携帯情報端末は、カメラ部は本体部に対して着脱自在に形成され、当該カメラ部と当該本体部は非接触電力用コネクタと非接触信号用コネクタとをそれぞれ備え、両コネクタは当該カメラ部を当該本体部に装着した際に各々対向する位置に配設され、かつ、前記カメラ部を電源とメモリー部とを備えたカメラ駆動装置に着脱自在に形成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明の実施の一形態を説明する。
実施の形態1.
図1はこの発明の実施の形態1による携帯電話機を示す斜視図、図2はカメラ部と電源装置の装着前の状態を示す斜視図、図3はカメラ部と電源装置の装着後の状態を示す斜視図、図4は非接触コネクタにおける動作原理を示す説明図(a)および非接触コネクタの断面図(b)、図5は非接触コネクタを示す断面図(a)およびA−A断面図(b)、図6はアンテナ整合回路の切替手段などを示すブロック図である。
図1〜図4において、1は携帯電話機本体(本体部)、2は液晶などの表示部、3は携帯電話機本体1に着脱自在に形成されたカメラ部であり、少なくとも撮像部、撮像部駆動部、信号送受信部を有している。またこのカメラ部3は、撮影した撮影データを記憶するメモリ手段を備えてもよい。4はレンズ部(撮像部)、5は携帯電話機本体1の上部に係合可能に形成された凹部、6は携帯電話機本体1に設けられた図示しない係合凹部に係合する係合凸部である。また、カメラ部3は携帯電話機本体1に対して前後の向きを逆転して装着可能に形成されている。

7は携帯電話機本体1に設けられた非接触コネクタであり、携帯電話機本体1からカメラ部3に電力を供給する非接触電力用コネクタと、携帯電話機本体1とカメラ部3との間で信号伝送を行う非接触信号用コネクタとから構成されている。8はコア、9はコイル、10はカメラ部3に設けられた非接触コネクタであり、非接触コネクタ7と同様に非接触電力用コネクタと非接触信号用コネクタとから構成されている。11はコア、12はコイル、13は磁束線である。これらの非接触コネクタ7,10は、カメラ部3を携帯電話機本体1に装着した際に各々対向する位置に配設されている。
14はカメラ部3を携帯電話機本体1から外して単体で使用する場合に、当該カメラ部3に装着して電源を供給する電源装置(カメラ駆動装置)であり、非接触コネクタ10に対向する位置に同様の非接触コネクタを備えている。またこの電源装置14は、カメラ部3で撮影した撮影データを記憶するメモリ手段を備えている。15は係合凸部6と係合する係合凹部、16はストラップである。

また、図5において、8a,11aは電力用コア、8b,11bは信号用コア、9a,12aは電力用コイル、9b,12bは信号用コイル、17はモールド樹脂、18は金属薄膜シールドであり、アンテナ20の送受信信号を金属薄膜シールド18の内部へ侵入させない程度の厚みにて形成されている。例えば、金属薄膜シールド18の厚みは、アンテナ周波数が2GHz、電力周波数が500KHz程度の場合、アンテナでの表皮効果として作用する厚み(スキンデプス)である、2〜3μm程度で形成することが望ましい。19はチップコンデンサである。なお、図5(b)は非接触コネクタ10のA−A断面を示しているが、非接触コネクタ7も同様の構成となっている。

また、図6において、20はアンテナ、21は携帯電話機本体1へのカメラ部3の装着の有無を判定するカメラ有無判定手段、22はカメラ部3が携帯電話機本体1に装着されている場合に最適なアンテナ特性にするカメラ有り整合回路、23はカメラ部3が携帯電話機本体1に装着されていない場合に最適なアンテナ特性にするカメラ無し整合回路、24はカメラ有無判定手段21の判定結果に応じて両整合回路22,23を切り替える整合回路切替手段である。

次に動作について説明する。
先ず、携帯電話機本体1の使用動作について説明する。
携帯電話機本体1にカメラ部3を装着し、携帯電話機本体1の電源をONにする。通常は、カメラ部3のレンズ部4が携帯電話機の使用者側に向くように装着する。なお、通話中にカメラ部3を装着することも可能である。
そして、携帯電話機本体1の図示しないカメラの動作ボタンをONにすると、携帯電話機本体1側の図示しない非接触コネクタとカメラ部3側の非接触コネクタ10とによって電力およびカメラ制御信号がカメラ部3に供給される。
カメラ部3の映像信号が非接触コネクタ10などを介して携帯電話機本体1に送信され、表示部2に映像が表示される。なお、使用モードによっては映像は表示部2に表示されず、アンテナ20を通じて通話相手の携帯電話機本体1に送信され、その表示部に表示される。

また、通話状態でカメラ部3を差し替え、反転させて撮影することもできる。これによって、携帯電話機の使用者だけでなく周囲の風景も撮影することができる。なお、カメラ部3の差し替え時に一時画像が中断される場合があるが、その中断時には相手側には中断直前の画像ならびにカメラ部3を差し替え中である旨の文字が送信され、表示される。
携帯電話機本体1の図示しないカメラの動作ボタンをOFFにすると、カメラ部3への電力供給が停止され、カメラ部3への送受信が停止するが、通話を継続できる。(また、携帯電話機本体1の電源をOFFにすることで、携帯電話機本体1の図示しないカメラの動作ボタンをOFFにしなくてもカメラ部3の動作を停止することもできる。)
カメラ部3の携帯電話機本体1からの取り外しは、通常は電源OFFの状態で行うが、上述したように通話中に行うこともできる。

また、図6に示すように、カメラ部3の装着の有無はカメラ有無判定手段21によって判定され、その判定結果に応じて整合回路切替手段24によって整合回路22,23を切り替えることができるので、カメラ部3の有無にかかわらず最適なアンテナ特性を得ることができる。
カメラ部3を携帯電話機本体1から取り外して単体で使用する場合には、図2および図3に示すように、電源装置14に装着することによって電源を確保できる。

次に非接触コネクタ10などによるカメラ部3への電力供給および信号送受信の動作について説明する。携帯電話機本体1の図示しないカメラの動作ボタンをONにすると、携帯電話機本体1のバッテリからの直流電流が図示しないチョッパ回路に流され、当該チョッパ回路で500kHz程度の周波数の交流電流に変換される。
すると、図4に示すように、交流に変換された電流が携帯電話機本体1の非接触コネクタ7を構成するインダクタに流され、電磁誘導により対向するカメラ部3側の非接触コネクタ10に交流電流が流れる。この交流電流を図示しない整流回路にて直流に変換し、その電力でカメラ部3の駆動回路などを駆動する。なお、カメラ部3の駆動電圧が複数必要な場合には、カメラ部3側のインダクタで複数のターン数の異なるコイルを巻くことで、それぞれ電圧の異なる電力を得ることが可能である(1電圧を電気回路で昇降圧してもよい)。

そして、カメラ部3の映像信号およびクロック信号を所定の変調回路で変調し、例えば1MHz程度の交流信号としてカメラ部3側の非接触コネクタ10のインダクタに流す。電磁誘導により対向する携帯電話機本体1の非接触コネクタ7のインダクタに電流が流れるので、これらの信号を携帯電話機本体1側で復調して表示あるいは送信に用いる。カメラ部3の制御信号に関しても、映像信号と同様に送受信される。
非接触コネクタ7,10は金属薄膜シールド18でシールドされているので、アンテナ20の電気特性の劣化を低減できる。
また、電力用コイル9aおよび信号用コイル9bにそれぞれ電力線、信号線を接続するためには、金属薄膜シールド18には貫通孔を設ける必要がある。貫通孔があけられている場合には、アンテナ電流がこの電力線、信号線を経由して金属薄膜シールド18の内部に侵入することになり、アンテナ特性(効率及び放射パターン)が劣化する。そこで、電力線、信号線が金属薄膜シールド18を貫通する付近でこれらの線と大地間にアンテナ使用高周波帯で抵抗値が零となるチップコンデンサ19を設けてアンテナ電流を金属薄膜シールド18の外へ流すことでアンテナ電流の金属薄膜シールド18への侵入を防止している。

以上のように、この実施の形態1によれば、携帯電話機本体1に対してカメラ部3を着脱自在に形成したので、TPOに合わせて両者を容易に選択使用できユーザの多様性に柔軟に対応できる効果が得られる。
また、非接触コネクタ7,10を内蔵したことにより、着脱部における機械的、電気的信頼性を確保できるとともに、外部からの湿気や汚れなど使用環境に対する信頼性をも確保できる効果が得られる。
また、カメラ部3を携帯電話機本体1の上面に配設したので、撮影画面の目線が自然になるとともに、カメラ部3の着脱が容易になる効果が得られる。
また、非接触コネクタ7を携帯電話機本体1の上面に配設したことにより、配設に必要な平面部を容易に確保できる効果も得られる。
また、カメラ部3を差し替え、反転させて撮影することもできるので、携帯電話機の使用者だけでなく周囲の風景も撮影することができる効果も得られる。
また、整合回路切替手段24などによって、カメラ部3の有無にかかわらず最適なアンテナ特性を得ることができる効果も得られる。
また、非接触コネクタ7,10は金属薄膜シールド18でシールドされるとともにチップコンデンサ19によりアンテナ電流の金属薄膜シールド18への侵入を防止されているので、アンテナ20の電気特性の劣化を低減できる効果も得られる。
また、カメラ部3は電源装置14に対しても着脱自在に形成したので、携帯電話機本体1から取り外して単体で使用する場合にも容易に電源を確保できる効果が得られる。

以上のように、上記実施の形態1は非接触コネクタ7を携帯電話機本体1の上面部に配設するものである。なお、携帯情報端末として携帯電話機を例にして説明したが、これに限定されるものではなく、他の携帯情報端末であってもよい。

このようにカメラ部3のベース部30は、携帯電話機本体1に対して取付ネジ32よって着脱自在に形成され、かつ回動自在に形成されているので、着脱が容易であり、その回動によって任意の画面を撮影することができる。
なお、この発明においてはカメラ部3の回動機構として、図11に示した機構を採用しているが、図12に示した機構を採用することで配線処理を不要とし、映像信号の流れ36を単純化することができる。

またカメラ駆動装置37は、図14に示すように、カメラ駆動装置37同士の非接触コネクタを対向させることによって、撮影データを交換できるように形成されている。
このようにカメラ部3は、携帯電話機本体1およびカメラ駆動装置37に対して取付ネジ32よって着脱自在に形成されているので、着脱が容易であり、携帯電話機本体1から取り外して単体で使用する場合にも容易に電源を確保できる。
また、カメラ駆動装置37同士で撮影データを交換できるので、知人同士で撮影データを共有したり、TPOに合わせた用途を無限に広げていくなど、新たな文化創出に寄与できる。

このようにカメラ部3は、図20の矢印で示すように、携帯電話機本体1のスライドレール部43に沿ってスライドさせながら凹部48を係合させ、かつアンテナ部42と携帯電話機本体1とで挟持し、係合部44と46及び45と47を係合させることによって装着するので、着脱が容易である。
また、図23に示すように、カメラ部3の挿入方向を反転させることによって、携帯電話機の使用者だけでなく周囲の風景も撮影することができる。
なお、図24に示すように、レンズ部4の形成位置が異なるカメラ部3を上述した要領にて装着することもできる。

このようにカメラ部3は携帯電話機本体1に対して係合片53、孔54および図示しない上記ロック機構とによって着脱自在に形成されているので着脱が容易であり、またレンズ部4はカメラ部3に対して回動自在に形成されているので、任意の画面を撮影することができる。

このようにカメラ部3はアンテナ20を挿通孔55に挿通し、係合凸部56と係合凹部57とを係合・解除できるように形成されているので着脱が容易であり、またレンズ部4はカメラ部3に対して回動自在に形成されているので、任意の画面を撮影することができる。

図37はカメラ部3の装着後の状態を示す斜視図、図38は取り外したカメラ部3にソフトキャップをかぶせた状態を示す斜視図であり、図において、58はカメラ部3の底部からスカート状に延設されたゴム製のソフトキャップであり、携帯電話機本体1の上部にかぶせることによってカメラ部3を携帯電話機本体1に装着できるように形成されている。また、図38に示すように、このソフトキャップ58は、携帯電話機本体1から取り外したカメラ部3にかぶせることによって、カメラ部3をストラップ59から下げて携帯しているときにレンズ部4を保護できるようになっている。
このようにカメラ部3は弾性を有するソフトキャップ58によって容易に着脱できるとともに、その着脱によって撮影方向も容易に変更できるので、任意の画面を撮影することができる。また、カメラ部3の携帯時にレンズ部4を容易に保護できる。

図39はカメラ部3の装着過程を示す斜視図、図40はカメラ部3の装着後の状態を示す斜視図であり、図において、60はカメラ部3に形成された係合段部61と係合する係合段部であり、アンテナ20からできるだけ離れた位置に形成され、非接触コネクタ7を内蔵してある。カメラ部3の非接触コネクタ10も非接触コネクタ7と対向する位置に内蔵してある。62は取付ネジ、63はネジ孔である。
また、図40中の矢印で示すように、レンズ部4はカメラ部3に対して回動自在に設けられている。
このように本発明は、係合段部60,61の係合と、取付ネジ62,ネジ孔63のねじ込みによって着脱が容易であり、またレンズ部4はカメラ部3に対して回動自在に形成されているので、任意の画面を撮影することができる。
特に、非接触コネクタ7,10をアンテナ20からできるだけ離れた位置に形成してあるので、アンテナの電気特性の劣化を低減できる。
したがって、本発明においては、上述したカメラ部3の有無に応じて動作させる整合回路22,23や非接触コネクタ7,10の金属薄膜シールド18を必ずしも設けなくても良く、さらなるコスト低減を期待できる。

実施の形態2.
本実施の形態2は、非接触コネクタ7を携帯電話機本体1の背面部に配設するものである。
図41はこの発明の実施の形態2による携帯電話機に係るカメラ部3の蓋を開いた状態を示す斜視図、図42はカメラ部3の蓋を閉じた状態を示す斜視図、図43はカメラ部3の装着過程を示す斜視図、図44はカメラ部3の装着後の状態を示す背面斜視図、図45はカメラ部3の装着後の状態を示す正面斜視図であり、図において、64はレンズ部4を回動自在に支持するベース部、65は軸支部66によってベース部64に回動自在に軸支された蓋、67は携帯電話機本体1の背面部に凹設され蓋65と係合する係合凹部である。
なお、携帯電話機本体1やカメラ部3の基本動作は、上記実施の形態1と同様であるので重複説明を省略する。

以上のように、この実施の形態2によれば、蓋65と係合凹部67の係合によってカメラ部3の着脱が容易であり、またレンズ部4は図44中の矢印で示すように、ベース部64に対して回動自在に形成されているので、任意の画面を撮影することができる効果が得られる。

また、カメラ部3を携帯電話機本体1から取り外して携帯する場合には、図80および図81に示すように、レンズ部4のレンズが隠れるように本体部102に対して回動させて、ケース部106で本体部102を収納すれば、レンズ部4を保護でき携帯性もよい。

また、カメラ部3を携帯電話機本体1から取り外して携帯する場合には、レンズ部4のレンズがカメラ部3の内方に隠れるように回動させ、キャップ114を装着すれば、レンズ部4を保護でき携帯性もよい。

以上のように、この発明によれば、カメラ部は本体部に対して着脱自在に形成され、当該カメラ部と当該本体部は非接触電力用コネクタと非接触信号用コネクタとをそれぞれ備え、両コネクタは当該カメラ部を当該本体部に装着した際に各々対向する位置に配設して構成したので、TPOに合わせて携帯電話機の本体部とカメラ部を容易に選択使用できユーザの多様性に柔軟に対応できる効果がある。

また、この発明によれば、本体部はカメラ有無判定手段とカメラ有り整合回路およびカメラ無し整合回路と整合回路切替手段とを備えて構成したので、カメラ部の有無にかかわらず最適なアンテナ特性を得ることができる効果がある。
