【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an antenna device and a portable radio communication device, and more particularly to an antenna device that can be built in a main body of the portable radio communication device and the portable radio communication device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Antennas for portable wireless communication devices are shifting from types similar to whip-type antennas that are mounted so that they can be pulled out of the housing during use, which has been the mainstream until now, to built-in types. By using the built-in antenna, handling at the time of use and storage is much easier than when using a conventional type antenna, and there are advantages such as increased flexibility in housing design. Among them, the advantage that the casing can be made thinner is great.
[0003]
However, a plate-like inverted F antenna that has been generally used as a built-in antenna or a dipole antenna with a simple configuration has a radiation pattern formed in the front direction (direction of the user) of the portable radio communication device. There has been a problem in that radiation efficiency is lowered due to mismatch loss and dielectric loss. In order to improve such a problem, an invention has been made in which a non-feeding counter element is combined with a main antenna constituted by a dipole antenna (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In the invention disclosed in
[0004]
On the other hand, widening the frequency characteristics is also an important issue for the built-in antenna. In this respect, a method of configuring an antenna by arranging a parasitic element whose resonance frequency is shifted close to the main antenna has been known in the past, and an invention that has been miniaturized so that it can be applied to a portable radio communication device or the like.
